We needed to have our deck replaced when the decking and a support beam were both starting to fail…read more All Decks was great from beginning to end. I got several bids. They were affordable, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with my needs and my budget. They were able to obtain the permits that were needed which is an important and valuable service. They also took care of the structural engineering that was needed to make sure that we had sufficient support for the deck. Their showroom is very helpful. There are samples and some mockups of decks, railings, lighting, etc. There are lots of options and the staff was great about explaining the options but not pressure-upselling. I felt comfortable choosing the materials and extras with their help. After the project was finished, there was one support post that didn't look finished to me when I looked at it from our dining room window. All Decks was great about coming out. After seeing and understanding what I wanted to upgrade, they were able to install a matching trim piece that made the post look complete. The deck has been installed now since Oct 2024. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier.

We had two bathrooms done by Riccon. First off I should say the bathrooms came out beautifully…read more We did most of the design work ourselves, picked out pretty much everything and in the. case of the tile and vanity we ordered it and paid ourselves. Their estimate was way off, our house is older and there were a lot of things uncovered that made the estimates off by tens of thousands. We also used more expensive tiles to install, so some of those increases were on us. My real complaint was about communication and prices. On multiple things (plumbing and floor refinishing) we ended up finding our own contractor to do the job because the bids Riccon was getting were way too high. We also had to push to get additional electrical bids because the original electricians came in at a way higher price than originally planned for. There were days that people were supposed to show up and they didn't. Then days we weren't expecting people they would show up, which worked out okay since we were usually working from home given the pandemic but it was still frustrating. All in all I found Jeff to be a reasonable guy and again,. the bathrooms turned out well. I do think we paid a reasonable price for what we ended up with. I would use them again.
