Had an amazing time at Repris Wines. Our host, Hayley, was amazing! The wine, the views, everything was so nice and peaceful. Hayley was so friendly, we loved learning all about the wine making process and the history of the land from her. I would highly recommend this experience if you're in the Sonoma area.
Absolutely loved this winery on top of the mountain (add extra time to arrive or leave, the road is small, long and windy to enter/exit). I can see why they only allow you to schedule a visit if you have a car (Ubers will NOT pick up at this location). Once you arrive at the winery, if you booked a tour, you are greeted and given a tour of the vineyards on an ATV. The vineyards were beautiful and had an extensive history behind them that was neat to learn about. After that, the tour begins outside at a table with some white wine, and moves in the volcanic caves (1 of only 2 in the Napa/Sonoma region) with some red wine. I thought the info on the tour was good, and it was cool to see the underground caves! After the caves, you move into the building, and onto the top floor! There are 360 degree views of the surrounding wine region, and you are given several more samples of wines, and a charcuterie board with cheeses and meats (in addition to a couple of samplings of food from the kitchen). The entire experience was very personalized- from the tour, to the menu with our party's name printed on it, to the extra wine offered to us (that was our favorite). This winery went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel like we were the only ones there. And most importantly, had great tasting wine!! I would recommend this winery to everyone, what a hidden gem!!
Amazing Vinyard, winery and tasting. Ryan F was a fantastic host. From the tour in the Vinyard to the cellars, it proved to be one of our most special engagements in Sonoma! We fell in love with the Jennifer Block and the Malbec, such amazing wines. Highly recommended for beginners and experts. Pro tip: not good for babies.
By far my favorite winery we visited while in the area. Ryan was our sommelier and he was a class act. The wines were top notch and the experience was grand. Do not miss out on this one!
What an extraordinary place to hide a vineyard. It is out of the way, you never know about it if you didn't have friends that were members and it is handsomely stylized. Once you arrive they take you on an ATV to show you the venue. My friends have been members for a while and they told me that last time the ATV ride was by far more spectacular than the short one we experienced, but it was fun. When we arrived we tasted a Sauvignon Blanc which was not my favorite. Guide started or afternoon with a bad joke. It actually was pretty bad. Leave the jokes to a comedian. Coming back to the caves, we were taken through the caves and briefly described the wine process. It was an interesting experience walking through 18,000 ft.² of caves, man-made, but I'm not a big gay person so I'm not sure I really loved it. We were seated at a long table that was candle lit with beautiful charcuterie trays down the middle of the table. Everything was in small portions but absolutely tastefully done. Our guy proceeded to tell us basically his life story and not talk about the winds too much. By the way he thought my husband was very good looking and mentioned it a couple of times. Personally I didn't think that was totally appropriate. Part of our family belong as members so we were able to buy a couple bottles of wine via them. I really liked the Left Bank, so my husband bought that and one other one that he liked. I was told that there is another tasting room in the turret, but we did not get to experience that. I did see the cat was friendly and sitting on someone's lap when we arrived, but never saw the cat or cats again while we were there. Dang I like cats. It is a different, maybe once in a lifetime experience; but I'm not sure that the winds merit of the price, and I would like to know more about the wine and the winery and the land than the person guiding us through it.
Hands down, the best winery experience we've ever had (and we've been to a lot of wineries)! From the drive up Moon Mountain through the vineyard, to the ATV drive around, the cave tour, and the tasting in the tower, Repris is nothing short of incredible. Their wines are definitely at the very top of my list of favorites as well. They had a wonderful little charcuterie plate to go along with the tasting that really elevated the wines to a whole new level. The whole experience was so intimate and personal, we learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Becoming members was definitely a no brainer, and we can't wait to go back!
Repris was fine. We visited on a Saturday in August 2018. Just an FYI, we were told that the ATV tours on the weekends are shorter to accommodate more tours. Anyway, we were greeted quickly after arriving and waited for about 10-15 minutes for our host to finish up his prior tour. We toured the property and caves then took the ATV tour to some great views. Afterwards, we were shown upstairs to finish the tasting at a table. A few bites (cheese/honey/etc.). Honestly, the food was the best part of the tour. Generally to us, Repris was always..."it was good, but not as good as ___." The caves were nice, but not as nice as B Wise. The wine, was good, but not as good as Hamel. The ATV tour did make Repris unique, but it was so short that we felt rushed. $60 tasting/tour fee - was not waived for any bottle purchase. We did not buy any bottles from Repris. Our 2018 CA trip consisted of the following wineries: Hamel, Iron Horse, B. Wise, Repris, Bedrock, Del Dotto, Domaine Chandon, Viader, Amizetta, and Hall. Feel free to check out my upcoming reviews of those as well.
Best winery we went to all week. My dad put his foot down when we talked about going wine tasting in Sonoma and he said he wouldn't be buying anymore wine on this trip. Well, we ended up joining Repris because we loved the wine and hospitality that much! The wines were great, the tasting was tailored to us, they even gave us gluten free crackers due to my allergy! They didn't rush us, they listened to all of our stories, they have such great knowledge on the wine. I though I would love the Jenny but we all ended up Loving the right bank! This is a must if you want to visit Sonoma. No other winery even touched this place. Plus the ATV experience was really cool!

We had an incredible experience at Repris and Ivan was very thorough during our tour. We were greeted almost as soon as we stepped out of our car and our tour started with a glass of wine before heading on a ride out to the vineyards in an ATV (for more wine). He provided history of the property, the owner, how to properly taste wines, a bit of viticulture, and so much more. We then went to where the wine is processed and into the caves. Our time ended in the beautiful tasting overlooking the property where we tasted more wine. This has been our favorite tour by far because of Ivan's level of engagement, years of knowledge, wine tasting along the tour path, seeing the vineyards and caves and then some time to sit and enjoy- everything I was anticipating from a wine tour/ tasting! read more
First stop on our extended wine vacation and Repris wine didn't disappoint. We ended up in Sonoma to celebrate my gfs special birthday and after scouring the internet we found Repris. A direct to consumer winery, Repris's organic farming specializes in smaller batch blends and single varietals, producing less than 10k cases a yr. The tour with Ivan was great. After starting with a melange blanc, we hopped in an Atv for a quick stop in the vineyards for a quick lesson and additional sample. After returning to the main complex, we saw both the processing plant and cave systems, areas I always enjoy seeing. The tour finished in the tasting room where our guide brought some specialized selections based on our preferred flavor profiles and conversations. A very chill and no pressure pitch about wine clubs followed where we felt comfortable making any decision about purchases. Overall a great experience and we will be back. read more
This was our first wine tasting tour and we enjoyed it very much. Grant was a friendly guy and we appreciated his relaxed hospitality as our tour guide. The volcanic caves, personalized menus, private tasting room and views of the vineyard were some highlights-- of course along with the many wines we were able to taste throughout the tour. The only thing that I felt was missing was more time to enjoy the views of the vineyard on the atv tour. We pretty much just took a picture and took off-- would be nice to not rush and walk around the vines a bit. Overall a good experience and the wine was good-- would come back and buy some bottles next time! read more

This is an absolutely phenomenal vineyard you won't want to miss in Sonoma County! Ivan was an incredible guide who was knowledgeable and personable. The tour starts off with a delicious fan favorite white wine. Then you are taken up an ATV to a beautiful view of Sonoma county and given an explanation of how their specialty wines are made. If that wasn't enough they take you to a gorgeous wine cellar and end the tour with charcuterie and wine pairings. This was the highlight of our trip to Sonoma and HIGHLY recommend this tour - it is worth every cent! They are swish and spit friendly! read more

Absolutely gorgeous Estate - I stumbled on it when searching google maps. This winery is members only and all tour reservations need to be made typically weeks to months in advance. This place had my fiancé and I speechless. He didn't truly appreciate fine wines until these tastings. Sean Green guided our tour and tasting which was super intimate and personal. Sean was beyond knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the different wines and the process. Repris wines are great, the Estate is gorgeous, the caves are amazing. I would highly recommend it! They also have two very cute and friendly cats. Everything about this place is a win win. read more

I don't think I belong here. The Ed U. who belongs here makes so much more money than I do, has rich and influential friends, and exhibits the rarefied palate of a sommolier at a Michelin three-star establishment. I'm the Ed U. who drinks wine out of a box and likes it. But I managed to come here thanks to the generosity of a member who invited us to a tasting tour here. It's high up on Moon Mountain in Sonoma, a remote bucolic area completely foreign to me but with spectacular views that stretch all the way to San Pablo Bay. Although not that far from downtown Sonoma, it's a winding, three-mile drive off of Hwy 12 to get here where you need to have the right credentials to pass through their gates. It's appointment-only, you plebeian. Once on the grounds, you're immediately surrounded by the rolling hills covered in vineyards well before the next harvest. The main building is a modern, wooden structure dominated by a large turret which houses a tasting room as well as their offices (photo: http://bit.ly/1DeyuFr). Sean, the Estate Sales Manager, gave us a tasting upfront of the 2012 Sauvignon Blanc, all butter-crisp and light (photo: http://bit.ly/1DeylSe). Then he led us to the vats and took us deep into their caves where we caught a glimpse of the vast 18,000 square feet of barrels in storage here (photo: http://bit.ly/1OMgxAX). We trundled up to a scenic overlook for yet more wine. Finally, Sean brought us back to the caves for our tasting. Accompanied by a cheese plate, a couple of Cabernet Sauvignons, one rich and oakey, the other fruitier and less velvety, were followed by a sip of their exclusive Left Bank (photo: http://bit.ly/1HVfKM5). A lovely pour. And speaking of exclusive, this is a glorious place to visit if you schedule an appointment beforehand or better yet, wangle an invitation from a charitable connoisseur like I did. read more
The wine, the service, the views, the ATVs, the private tasting room, the cheese platters... I could seriously go on and on. Everything is spectacular at this secluded and completely gorgeous moon mountain winery. They're notorious for their reds -- my personal favorites are the Left Bank Blend (61% Cabernet Sauvignon and 39% Cab Franc), Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and of course, the highly exclusive club-members only Cabernet Franc. All the wines are more on the high end at ~$75-$100 a bottle. However, this is such a splurge worthy guilty pleasure. My fiancé and I went here the weekend he proposed and it was the perfect romantic setting to set the proposal mood! The views are seriously remarkable and the private ATV tours are so personalized and unlike any other winery tour I've been on. We are now proud members of Repris and will continue to enjoy the setting & wines by heading up there as often as we can! Happy Drinking, Yelpers! read more

Our party of 4 had an informative, personalized and fun tour with Ryan Evans! Getting there can be a little difficult as the place is a bit remote and the GPS will only take you so far, but the directions they give you are easy to follow. Once we arrived, Ryan welcomed us with glasses of sauvignon blanc and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We started the tour in a room with tanks and then headed inside the caves which was very cool (figuratively and literally ~57 degrees, I believe). Then, we got on the ATVs and went to taste grapes for cabernet, merlot (right from the vine) and tasted 2 Zinfandels in a lookout point with great views of lava (yes, from a volcano!) and then finally went inside their tasting room with AC and great views. They had a menu with the list of wines we tasted and their bottle prices. Menu was personalized to our party and they gave us delicious cheeses with some fig marmalade. You will only find their wines here and the winery tour is by appointment only. Tour was $60 for 90 mins and wines were a bit on the pricier side but worth it. A unique experience! read more

Wine plus friends equals a good time. Wine plus friends and a beautiful view is a great time. But...wine plus friends, beautiful view and Skip our estate host equals over the top amazing! Skip guided us through the estate. Caves, Hillsides, and I'll leave one out so it will be a surprise! The Sav.blanc and Sav. Musque blend was delicious as well as the old vine Zin and the Cabernet Sauvignon which we enjoyed so much! Don't miss out, Call early and get it! read more
What an absolute treat it was to have the winery accommodate us as a treat on Super Bowl Sunday. Ryan shared his knowledge of both the wines and the winery with us, and poured us some delicious wines both inside the caves and up in the tasting room. We felt very special and enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. Will definitely be coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors a bit more - unfortunately because of the rain we weren't able to enjoy a ride around the property but gives us something to look forward to! read more

This was the best wine tour I've ever taken and my friends agreed. Skip was an amazing tour guide, very funny and knowledgeable. The wines were fantastic, especially the reds. This place is amazing! I honestly almost didn't want to write a review because I wanted to keep this beautiful gem to myself. It is literally the most beautiful winery I have EVER been to. Ryan was our "guide" and it was literally the most perfect pairing with our group. He was inviting, charming and witty. Everything about this place is in one word "magical". Attention MEN if you are looking to get engaged do it here! Take a wine tasting tour and I promise you will know the time to drop on that knee! From the second we were greated getting out of the car to the time we left I did not have one iota of disappointment. The views=so beautiful! The caves= small intimate and inviting There is so much more to this tour that I don't want to give away. The joys of this delightful tasting are out of this world, if you pass on it you are seriously missing out. I cannot wait to go back here! Thank you to Repris, Ryan and Moon Mountain for the amazing and memorable visit! read more
