He discovered a slab leak and listed several options. He is probably one of the most "real one's" there are out there. He does not just come to do a job, but genuinely cares about each of his customers. He tries to establish a relationship with his customers by making it feel like he is taking care of a family member. He tries to get to know you and is willing to hold a conversation with you and hear you out. Plumbing issues can be very expensive and Stephen is sensitive to that. It is never a great time to get plumbing work done, but Stephen is there to talk with you, hear you out, and just be someone who genuinely cares about the customer. I will be using Jim and Son's for any plumbing needs in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone. I wish I remembered the name of the other plumber that helped him out during the job, but he was awesome as well. Again, he understood the importance of customer service and making sure that customers are left with a great experience in addition to getting the work done. 6/5 stars if I could.

Anthony took the time to teach us about our irrigation valve and watering system--how it works, why certain parts needed replacement, and even where our emergency water shutoff is located for future situations. He quickly diagnosed our water pressure issue--our main valve was sitting at a dangerous 100 PSI--and installed a new 1-inch Zurn Wilkins regulator (our old one was 24 years old!). He also performed a hydro-jetting service on our main line to clear out all the debris. Giovanni was polite, professional, upfront with pricing, and worked incredibly efficiently. I also really appreciate the client portal they supply--it made it super easy to view my paid invoices and will be great for keeping track of any future estimates all in one place. Highly recommend Javier from R&R!…read more Our bathroom had 2 issues. The shower had 2 points of discharge and water came out from both ends when we turn on the water. The control switch was not working properly and it appears to have something broken inside the switch. The second was the bathtub was dripping for months. Our property manager gave us some recommendation on handyman, and we reached out to a few others. Everyone of the handyman looked at the issues and said they couldn't do it. Javier from R&R was professional and friendly. He came, looked at the problems and gave us multiple options. We were told that our bathroom fixtures were on the older end, and replacement parts would be pretty slim. Javier said he would try his best to find ways to fix our problems, and if it can't be fix, then he would have to go with the full remove and replace option. Needless to say, the cheaper option would be less than half the price of the worst case scenario. We were presented with the cheaper options to be less than $1000, while the worst case scenario would be in the mid $2000 with our drywall cut open in order to do the fixture replacement. We would also had to then deal with redoing the drywall since that is not part of the company's scope of work. Javier came back after we accepted the estimate and was able to fix everything faster than I thought. To my surprised, he was able to find the replacement parts and fix everything. My experience with Javier and R&R has been exceptional. I highly recommend R&R to anyone with plumbing issue like i had.

Hired repipe1 to do my repipe here in Jurupa valley after having my 4th leak this year. Apparently the water quality here in Riverside county is bad and the copper is cheap. Sean came out with his bag of goodies and showed me all the materials that would be installed and even pointed out that my water heater that was installed last year wasn't up to code. After going through his cool show and tell presentation. I decided to hire them for the job. They were a little higher priced than my neighbors guy. But to me quality is more important than price when it comes to a big job like this. This company gives you a lifetime warranty and even covers damages if a leak happens afterwards! These guys are great! Had another leak, 2 in the past 6 months! My plumber told me to give Sean a call, so I did. I was a bit nervous at first because I've been using the same plumber for over 10 years. So when he told me to call another company it caught me off guard to say the least. But very happy that I did! The water here in riverside is really hard and since my house was built in the 50's we've had the normal issues that come with an older home. Repipe1 was great the job was done in one day as Sean promised and then patching was done a few weeks later, due to riversides inspectors. Overall I had a great experience and their pricing was fair. I contacted Repipe1 by phone for an estimate. Jacob came out to our house and explained all of the options and gave us a price, his professionalism sold us on their service. We decided to have them do the re pipe of our house and they came out a week later to do the re-pipe. The two service men, Vazgen and Arsho did a terrific job with the installation. Explaining everything and kept the house clean and protected. When they finished another team came out and did all of the patching, again another great job. We had a PEX repiping done and so far we are very happy. The company was friendly and the crew that arrived, Gilbert's team was very good and they've given us some peace. We've had slab leaks and we are finally relieved. Both crews the repiping and patch crews were very nice and covered everything and took into account that we were still in the house during the entire process. Sean the estimator that came out was extremely knowledgeable and didn't try pressuring me into buying on the spot. I got 3 other estimates they were the third highest price wise, but now I see why. We had our house repiped by Repipe 1. The shower spout that was installed had a faulty diverter. I contacted Jenny at Repipe 1 and she gave me the contact information for Moen and told me that once I received a new part she will schedule a plumber to replace it. Today, Saul Ruiz (plumber) came to replace the shower spout. Saul was on time, very friendly and within minutes he was done replacing the shower spout. When I asked if paying cash would change the price, he then said $2,100 is the cash price, and paying by credit card adds 4%. This was not mentioned initially, which felt misleading. When I questioned this, he said: "I'm not rejecting you. Anyone who insults me with dishonesty doesn't deserve my services. I pride myself on honesty and transparency. I treat all my customers with respect and kindness. I am one of the kindest contractors you will come across. But for you to question my honesty is an insult." Transparency and clear communication are essential in good business practice. Any professional contractor should state upfront: "$2,100 cash, +4% if paying by card." Because the full picture wasn't communicated when it mattered, it's understandable that I felt the situation was not handled honestly.

The scope of the project was pretty extensive: they installed new copper plumbing, created a new attic access, relocated an air vent, installed a new bidet and shower system, moved a gas line, relocated a washer hose, removed an old furnace, and installed a new thermostat. Everything was handled seamlessly from start to finish. What really stands out is their communication--clear, responsive, and honest throughout the entire process. They worked quickly and efficiently without cutting corners, and the quality of the work shows. Pricing was also extremely fair, especially given the amount of work involved. On top of that, Chris offered helpful suggestions along the way that improved the overall setup and saved me potential headaches down the line. It's rare to find someone who combines skill, speed, fairness, and professionalism so well. My air was not coming out cold. I called on a Friday morning was told oh we have to send the person who went to do your maintenance service just a few weeks prior. (Why? It was a maintenance!) in the case this rep might have done something wrong, which I doubt he did. Unless he did something intentional. So, I had to wait till Tuesday. I went days without air, no it wasn't extremely hot but I'm in menopause and not having air when it's warm outside is not good for anyone! Tuesday comes around and they cancel on me. At this point my blood starts to change temperature to warmer not yet boiling. I'm like oh hell nah!!! They reschedule me to Friday. I was not going to be home Friday morning due having to run into the office for a few hours. The service rep Ryan A. called me. I was rude yes cause at this point I was going to cancel my service with Nexgen after they came to see WTH was going on with my air. I informed Ryan I was not going to be home he asked what time would I be home, I said after 5. He asked if he can come between 5-6. I said ok. I explained to Ryan what was going on and what happened. He didn't even look at anything yet and explained to me what he was gong to check on. He didn't try to sell or tell me everything else that needs to be done or suggested to be done: Yes, I completely understand your air conditioner and maintenance is an investment to do the things to keep it running and intact. However, right now in this crazy world we are all having a hard time keeping food in our fridge and making sure we have money for gas to get by. I just needed to put this honest review out here! I am a female home owner and I make the decisions in my home when it comes to who I allow in my home to help us maintain what we have. Ryan didn't BS me. The service was not cheap but it wasn't something that would put me out till next pay period. I told Ryan I was going to cancel Nexgen due to the horrible customer service I had received, till the service he provided. He was patient, not trying to sell everything he could find on his lap top. He found the issue showed it to me, fixed it and explained preventative measures when we are able to financially. Not pressuring me. Thank you Ryan A with Nexgen.

I called him for a second opinion after SoCal Gas claimed I had a gas leak -- and I'm so glad I…read moredid. He was incredibly thorough, going through multiple approaches to isolate the issue and leaving absolutely no doubt that there was no leak. He even told me straight up that a repipe wasn't necessary based on what he found. That kind of honesty, when he easily could have upsold me, says everything about his character. By the end, he was just as baffled as I was that SoCal Gas had flagged an issue. Rather than leaving me to figure it out on my own, he walked me through all of his troubleshooting step by step so I could relay it to the technician when getting retested. He followed up consistently throughout the whole ordeal and genuinely expressed concern that I was without gas. I passed the retest, and I truly believe his guidance played a big part in that. He's earned my trust and I'll absolutely be calling him again.
