The room was private and peaceful and I can only remember hearing her spa music. The facial was nice and my face felt moisturized and soft and reviewing my skin a few days later showed that my pores looked smaller and my skin tighter. She used an oil face wash with such a nice scent that I'd love to have that in an at home face mask. Regardless of how the actual facial turned out, what truly sold me was the face and neck massage. It was anything but. I was taken to the back by Kristen Martinez, Assistant Practice Administrator. If you are unfortunate, like me, to get her, talk very slow, don't use big words. She probably won't get it then either but.. one has to try. Big words definitely throw her .. I don't know how else to get her to understand relatively easy concepts. . Forget it, just go to the front and explain your issue to someone else. It worked for me. Kristen in the room didn't know if I needed to be numbed for a procedure (I had to ask her) what order to numb me (they added mouthwash as an extra step) then doesn't listen to my question about the product that's banked, instead quotes another product in a rude tone like she's the authority of what I'm going to do. She's clearly in the wrong industry. This is a beauty industry. I don't HAVE to go there to spend my money. They DO have competition. Karina can't process big words or minimally complex business issues. I'd not have her run a flea circus let alone a lucrative med spa.. well, what was once a lucrative med spa.... My Rather simple ask "of information and a break down to a minimally complex issue, was quickly resolved with another person. Kristin could not get it through her head simple math and location. She should've been embarrassed. And I do believe she was in front of her coworkers and thus leading to the call cancelling my membership. She couldn't do math or keep up. Upon arrival ( I arrived early this time), I was told my appointment was cancelled because provider called in sick. I was never notified that my appointment had been cancelled and drove to spa for nothing. I was very frustrated and requested refund from Groupon. Bad customer service.
