Our shower stall…read morehas basically been neglected by the former homeowner, so the grout was looking bad, and some of the caulking was coming undone. After calling to set up the initial inspect, Jeff was out there in a few days. He took the time to explain the job, and gave an estimate. A week later, someone was out here to do the work. They were timely, professional, and got it done before the end of the business day. Even when I noticed a small little piece that came undone, Jeff himself came out to take care of it. I don't wish that something else happens in my home anytime soon, but I do know eventually a lot of the other tile will need work. And for that, I'm glad I know I will be able to count on Sir Grout to take care of it!

At this point, it's not even about the quote anymore it's about the lack of communication. If there were concerns about the project or it wasn't something you could take on, that should have been communicated clearly and professionally. If Adam Smith himself had owned a pressure washer, he still couldn't have produced the "invisible…read morehand" that Handy Marin Services brought to my deck. This poor deck hadn't been cleaned in years--long enough that I was considering charging admission as a mossy nature preserve. One afternoon with Handy Marin and suddenly I'm looking at wood grain I forgot existed. It's like depreciation reversed before my eyes. As if restoring the deck weren't enough, he also re-hung the wayward shutters on the front of my home. Think of them as irrational markets suddenly corrected--now everything looks balanced, stable, and dare I say, aesthetically efficient. The work was quick, thorough, and surprisingly affordable--an optimal equilibrium of quality and cost. I rarely give out 5-star reviews (my students will attest to this), but in this case, the marginal utility is through the roof. Handy Marin Services earns my highest recommendation. If you want your home to look less like a neglected externality and more like a well-run economy, call this man immediately.

My townhome also needed some exterior upgrades to the trim, a good pressure washing in the entry, and a fresh coat of paint. Luis even threw in some freebies by patching holes in the garage and painting the interior and exterior garage door, fixing the mailbox, and disposing of miscellaneous furniture that was no longer needed. I also added some plumbing upgrades toward the end of the project (replaced all toilets and replaced faucet fixtures in sink, bathtub, and shower). Throughout the project, Luis kept me informed and sent progress photos of the work that was completed each day. Luis was very gracious and allowed us to use his business account to purchase all the paint (which saved us about 40%...I hadn't realized how expensive paint had gotten). Luis and the team also made several trips to Home Depot to purchase additional supplies and material for the added scope (which I really appreciated as it saved me time and I was able to just reimburse him). It's always a bit scary going with a group that was found online without any personal recommendations or connections. But I had a great feeling after speaking and meeting Luis. He definitely did not disappoint. The renovations turned out way better than I could have imagined. We've already started to get compliments. I will definitely be a repeat customer and will recommend this group to all of my friends and family in the future. Thank you...Thank you...Thank

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because it seemed that the installers were not always aware of the removal process. The granite installers removed our old laminate tops without any issue, but the tile installers were surprised to learn they needed to remove our old laminate backsplash, which had partly been removed what the old tops were removed. Since they were unaware of the backsplash removal, they did not have a shop vacuum on their truck and we were left with a little mess to clean up. Also, the tile installers seemed uneasy when the plumber came to install the new faucet. However, the end result was a beautiful updated kitchen. We love it!
