I recently noticed that they have a new location in Johns Creek which is very close to my home. The good news is that they were open on a Saturday afternoon, (until 4pm). This particular location is extremely small compared to the Norcross location. The Norcross location is different because it is beautifully staged with a great selection of cabinet options on full display. You get to really see the product and how it will be featured in your home. I love the staging process because there are so many elements to be considered and as a visual person, I really like seeing a finished product instead of just a door. Also, I really appreciate seeing my traditional aesthetic represented. This store did have a small display of framed and unframed cabinet doors along with completed cabinets. If they have what you want great, but if you need to see all that they have to offer, you might start with the Norcross store first. The one thing I liked about this store is the salesperson. Although I didn't really interact with her, I was aware of her. She was actively talking to another couple when we entered the store but she took the time to ask if we needed assistance on a couple of occasions and that was appreciated. Some salespersons lack the ability to extricate themselves from certain situations in order to attend to other customers. Although they might not have everything you want, I think it's still worth a visit. You never know!

They are very professional, have a huge selection to choose from and their prices are very competitive. When at the yard, I told the owner what I was looking for and he drove me to four samples and I loved three of them so it was apparent that he had listened carefully to what I wanted. I also liked picking the edge and corners. (Who knew there were so many choices.) The measurements were taken with a template, not a laser. On the the day of the templates, the crew pointed out a problem which neither the designer nor the construction manager for kitchen renovation had noticed and/or mentioned. We were able to anticipate the solution thanks to Custom Kitchen. And we were sent several pictures that showed how they proposed to lay out the templates on the granite. I suggested that the largest piece be flipped 180 degrees to pick up a "swoop" in the natural flow of the granite. I was sent another set of pictures which matched my very unscientific description, perfectly. The island needed 3 pieces of granite to accommodate the new range. the two pieces on the side are nicely matched and the third piece across the back of the range fits in very well. While the whole of the kitchen renovation turned into an extended nightmare, choosing and installing the granite was easy-peasy.

We waited at least a week and they brought a carpet out and installed it but it was defective. Therefore another week passed for the owner to come out to our house to view the defects and make a claim. Then he ordered another carpet, there went another week, once brought out to my house it too was defective. So we had to wait another almost week in order for them to get yet another carpet. After 3 weeks fighting with this company they only want to offer me 325.00 credit. I'd already paid 1/2 the amount of 1800+ dollars. We had to wait 3 weeks to place our home on the market due to their incompetence and possibly miss several offers or even a sale. I wouldn't do business with this company ever. Their product is low grade. Their 325.00 credit is an insult.

My husband asks about the weight capacity of their cabinets and the guy steps away to ask a colleague, (strike 1, he should know this). He then comes back and says 20 lbs when the standard is 70 lbs, so there is a problem here because either he thinks we are stupid and don't know the difference, he only pretended to ask the question or their cabinets are really that cheap, pick one. (Strike 2, just pathetic). He then asks why this even matters (Strike 3, ignorance and incompetence will never win my business). Despite this display of incompetence, my husband insists that we stop by the store while we were in the area. Okay, no problem because I made it clear that they were a non-factor for real. As we walk in, I notice that they have the exact same showroom that they had almost two years ago. Now it just looks dark, dated and off trend. As soon as I touch the cabinet door, I can feel the cheapness because these doors are obviously not framed, (for stability and structure), and are very flimsy. The shelves are equally flimsy and when you move the various components who can hear the cheapness as well. Just do your homework and make sure you know what constitutes quality and know what questions to ask. If you know more than the sales person or if they are not able to answer basic questions regarding industry standards, keep looking.

The first day, they painted it and on the second day, they applied the acrylic coat (I know because of the smell). The color was not a tan, but a grayish pink color. I called and they did not like that I was complaining. I sent pictures of my swatch with the actual job done. The male owner(?) would not discuss unless I drove an hour to their office. There, he refused to come out of his office and talk with me and made the ladies in the office handle. I showed proof and we choose a slightly different color. He was a jerk. They came back out and repainted the tile in one day. It did not smell. It was not shiny. They did not put on the acrylic coat on. We have been very careful not to clean to aggressively. Now, the paint is chipping and is porous. Complete waste of money!!!! If you choose to use this company, I sure hope you don't have any issues.
