I first called and spoke with Javier who asked me to text him pics etc. he got back to me the same day. I sent him pictures of what needed to be done and he was very detailed about the questions asked me. This told me he was very serious about taking this job because I reached out to another company (Alcaraz) and sent them all the same info and they ghosted me but, I'm glad they did. Anyway, once we set the date and time he was super communicative, the whole time. He showed up on time with all of his materials ready to work. Once the hole was covered he even went to Home Depot to get the exact color paint for my ceiling. I felt very comfortable with Javier who was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I feel I received a fair price for the work that was done. He definitely went above and beyond and I can't even tell where that hole was before, he did a great job and cleaned up nicely afterwards. I hired the owner of this company, Melissa Williams back in April. My house was completely empty…read morewith an open canvas to do a simple solid paint job interior, house paint exterior, to add new tile to laundry room and to fix garage (installation, paint, brick work). I paid her $16,202 and NOTHING in my home was completed 100%, even after having over two months. She erratically jumped from job to job, starting and finishing. She was prepaying workers to do the work for her and they would do a horrible unfinished job and then she would ask me for more money once that worker would ignore her and stop responding since he had already got paid. She lost what she originally told me was 4k of my renovation funds but ended up being 8k from a situation where she was not paying for her rental car and they demanded the car back and withdrew the owed funds from her account. Due to this and lack of funds my job couldn't be complete even though I paid her what needed to be paid and her debt she owe was collected out of her account that contained my renovation funds. She lied and said she bought supplies with the money I sent her but some Major supplies were never bought and/or she will not provide me the order number. She always had another mishap or excuse of why the work was delayed or not done. When I addressed the inconsistencies, problems and frustrations with no one job being complete, she became outrage and start saying she didn't care that I paid her $16,202 and it's her money and it's her supplies. She hired two different people to fix my laundry room I fully paid for but since she kept hiring inadequate cheap people, the job never got completed. After I discontinued her services she started harassing me to pay her guy $600. However, the work was never completed. I offered for him to complete the job for the money as there is a 3 inch gap underneath my laundry room door leading outside, they damaged the laundry room door that connects to the kitchen, the cabinet shelf they removed off the wall- is still hanging off the wall and the cabinets on the other side of the wall were not put back together at all. After failed promises the work was gone be complete I had to let her go. The owner, Melissa stated multiple times she did not give a f* how much money I paid her and that if I don't pay her guy $600 for the unfinished work then she would take out a lien on my house. Once I discontinued her services she also tried to start adding on services fees we never discussed because I asked for my money back. She stated it didn't matter what we originally agreed on for pricing prior to the disagreement and started adding thousands of dollars in made up fees because I asked for my money back and stated I would find someone else to do the work. Since then she keeps harassing me, slandering me, threatening her workers' citizenship and so much more. I have pictures, videos, camera footage and recordings. Civil lawsuit and police reports have been filed. Beware of this business. May be good for smaller jobs but not for big jobs. Not trustworthy and will run off with your money for her own benefit because she stated she couldn't pay her rent, which I also have in text. So much more. It's such a shameful, distasteful situation especially since I was trying to work with her through her unexpected hardship. But instead she damaged my property, stole my money and have sent multiple threats regarding my home and livelihood all because I asked for a refund and fired her.
