Lived in one of their houses they manage for 3 years. You may say, Oh they must be great right? Nope. Moved in and had to hire a cleaning team because the previous tenants were evicted (Covid times), and they left it a mess. Literal piles of cigarette butts in the back yard. Found that the smoke detectors didn't work. Put in a service order for them to fix them. no response for a month, they then contacted me and said they didn't think it was their responsibility. So I replaced them. I was late on one payment because my brother was supposed to pay, had something come up (he is a cancer patient) and when I was contacted I paid immediately. Mind you this was the literal last payment after I left. After a $3000 deposit, they are trying to get me for the following items: Garage door repairs - This was broken before we moved in, we told the agent who walked with us we wanted it repaired and to have the GIANT dent noted. Paint - We are honestly lazy and never repainted a wall so this is basic maintenance. Spray paint gun rental - Once again basic Maintenance. So now they want another $2000. Why did I stick with them for 3 years? I went through a nasty divorce, where my ex ruined my credit and I became a single father. it was the best I could do at the moment. Now they want to price gouge me more because their tenants before me skipped out on them. Just don't rent with them. they will screw you over, and over, and over. read more

Homeowners, for the love of God, please STOP USING THIS COMPANY as your property management company! Renters Warehouse is the most incompetent, uncaring, lazy group of people I've EVER had the "pleasure" of dealing with. This company does absolutely NOTHING for you as a homeowner, or for its tenants. You'd think they'd be there to repair normal-wear repairs but nope! They just collect your money and string you along for months on a simple project that should've taken no more than a couple of days. The home that I'm renting has a broken garbage disposal -- after years of use, it gave out, and makes the loudest most obnoxious noise ever. I sent a maintenance request and patiently waited -- until days went by and I heard nothing from anyone. I called them and spoke with someone who clearly has no clue about anything but she assured me the garbage disposal would be taken care of. A technician from the home warranty company finally came out over a week later after my request, looked and said the garbage disposal was broken beyond repair, needed to be replaced, and he'd be back to fix it. If any of you have seen him, please let him know he still needs to come back and replace the garbage disposal -- it's been a month now. So, I've been going back and forth and back and forth with this ridiculous company trying to get this garbage disposal replaced. No luck. I guess I shouldn't be surprised as they did the same thing when the air-conditioning gave out in the dead-hear middle of summer, and they made me wait over a week in scorching temperatures, with inside temps reaching well over 85° to come fix that. Well, thankfully the owner of this property wised up and terminated the contract with this horrendous sorry excuse of a home management property as of yesterday -- but, that didn't stop them from pulling rent money from me for TODAY, even though my auto-pay was set up to take the last payment in March, as that was the last month of my contract; nowhere was it set up from my end to take auto-payment on April 1st (would make sense since I no longer have a contract, don't ya think?!) How does your company straight-up steal money from someone like that?! You decide you're going to debit their account with no contract?! Is that even legal?! Hmm... something to make you all think. I hope my reviews deter future home owners from hiring this company; they don't care about you or the tenants they rent any properties to -- they only care about the money. So please do some research and find a better home management company, but steer clear of this one. You'll be sorry if you hire them. read more

5 months and still have not received my deposit back.....! do not rent from this company or trust them. it's 1 star because you have to to leave a review .., but they should get -90.. the leasing consultant i had was kind and the property manager is kind.. i moved in and lived in the home for 2 months.., and when i moved in the ceiling was leaking, pool was dirty, burn mark on the mb sink, carpet old and dirty, vents dirty, blinds broke, debris in the back yard, electrical problems, marketed jacuzzi did not work, non-working fridge left in the garage etc. the home is owned my abdul k. hakeem ( realtor ).., and crazy stalker ish ex and managed by renters warehouse. it only took 45 calls and emails for things to start getting worked on because the trifling ghetto owner did not want to fix anything. i moved out two months later .., and the home had the same issues for the most part when i moved out. i got a damn statement saying i damaged all of the things thats was on my move in statement which was a lie. i took pictures when i moved in and when i moved out .., and i have video. renters warehouse also have proof on their and my move out statement that i did not have any damages .., and sent this to the owner over 5 times and the owner is ignoring me. i am due a refund from my deposit .. , and its been 4 months since i moved out and shannon ross ( asst. manager ) is saying she is emailing the owner and its not ok to string me along and not give me my refund check. shannon is responsive enough.., but im only get led on and excuses.. how many times does it take to email the owner and see they are ignoring me and they are ignoring for a reason. they know i did not have any damages and do not want to give me my damn deposit back. i will be taking abdul k. hakeem and renters warehouse to court .., and the judge will see all of my proof. do not rent or buy a house from abdul or renters warehouse. they have some kind people .., but they are shady .., and their home owners are clearly shady to. read more

This company put lipstick on a pig and rented it to me. I had no less than 15 vendors in and out of this condo in N Scottsdale, to fix all the basic health and welfare necessities. When I tried to reach the owner who is in Phoenix, I got a quit or vacate notice! Then the lawyers came out of the woodwork just the the gigantic cockroaches laying their eggs everywhere, and they slapped an injunction for harassment against me. I fought and won. 10 months later they have not returned my deposit. I'm headed to Superior court to fight them all they way, if anyone is interested to join me. read more

What a straightforward, open, and honest renting experience. Michael Ray was our agent, and from start to finish he was wonderful. Answered every question rapidly, was on time and everything happened as he explained it would. While we haven't met the landlord, the amount of communication from them about their house, and its surrounding area was so cool. I really wish I would have checked the reviews before renting one of there homes, from day one I was lied to for just about everything, I have had so many people out here to fix things and they never fix them right, had one of there vendors try fixing a broken ice maker with rubber base board, what a joke this place is, took them 8 months to finally fix the ice maker, the whole time I have been here they keep telling me that I signed a move in inspection report and I expected the house as is, I told them I never signed a move in report, and I finally got a copy of it and it is not my signature on it, they forged my signature, and now i have been living in a house that they were told by two electrical companies that the wiring needs to be redone and it is a fire hazard, and the owner told me it costs too much to fix, real nice, they have not heard the last of this, I would rather live in my car then be renting from this company, they love to take your money but hate to fix the problems, one more thing from anybody whom rents from them in Arizona, under sales tax they charge you double the % they should, and when I questioned them on it they said oh we just add in a bunch of our fees to that, well guess what, if they take 5% out under sales tax, and only pay the city 2.3%, well i have a meeting with the Az revenue department, they all ready just bring in where it says sales tax and they will take care of thge rest read more

We've had great service with their rental management services for several years and when the time came to sell our rental, we also used them to list our condo. We had an offer in 10 days! Update: So after not hearing anything from Renters Warehouse I figured out online how to get me tenants out of my property. Today is there move out day. I've been calling and emailing Renters Warehouse asking when the final inspection will be, because according to them, I'm allowed to be there. No one has an answer for me. I just can't believe how disorganized this place is. It's almost comical. Update: Yes I got a whole lot of the same. Here is the hard questions I am trying to ask. Is my tenant going to renew? Are they even still in my rental. Our lease expired on July 31, 2018. I think these are reasonable questions. I for the life of me can't get an answer from them. Original Review: My wife and I have been using Renter's Warehouse for 2 years. We are trying to decide if we want to rent again or sell our house. We have some general easy questions. We have tried to get ahold of them 2 times by email and 3 times by phone to and no one will call back. When I ask for a supervisor I get the run around. Don't bother, if you are into customer service, skip them. It is so sad. We had a good relationship with them before this but there has definitely been a decline. read more

I have been a tenant of Renters Warehouse for 5 years. Over the course of 5 years RW has fumbled every opportunity to provide even moderate service to me, as a tenant. To summarize the review below: "I WOULDN'T TRUST RENTERS WAREHOUSE TO MANAGE A BAKE SALE" The first year of my experience with RW found me in a home without air conditioning for 28 days from mid May to mid June... In Phoenix Arizona, that is absolutely unacceptable. I purchased 2 small window units ($350 each) to make my house habitable. I had a leak in kitchen that took their multiple service providers over a month to find, and by the time it was found all of my walls downstairs were infested with mold, that then had to be removed. I have had issues with payment, lease agreements, coordination between RW and the HOA... My dead grandmother is more dependable than the RW online portal that is used to make maintenance requests and pay monthly rent. I liken their employees to prisoners forced to work against their will. They are not friendly, organized or courteous. I have interacted with the gamut of RW staff; from the workers answering the phone to the VP of Operations. Renters Warehouse seems to have a huge disconnect about the service they provide and the impact the work they do has on their customers lives. I had a leak in my only shower, which dripped water into the lighting fixtures of the kitchen below. To avoid getting electrocuted my bf and I immediately stopped using the shower. It took Renters Warehouse 4 days to get a plumber to my house to look at the leak and another 7 days to complete the repair. Through this time I was run around the bases chasing person after person to resolve the issue. For 11 days I had to shower at the gym I am a member of. I hope and try to be reasonable with expectations that are realistic. I try to be flexible and adapt to situations that are put in front of me. If it were not for the excellent relationship I have with the homeowner and a home that I love, I would dump the disgraceful Renters Warehouse. read more

If there was an option to put zero stars I would. Absolutely do not ever rent from Renters Warehouse, I have had simple maintenance request submit since the beginning of July. I have 6 open maintenance request and there is zero indication they will ever be fixed. The maintenance crews respond to me with generic answers read from a list. I also had my AC break in July and it took over a week for them to fix meanwhile my house was over 100 degrees leaving me with nowhere to go. I have made nearly 100 calls related to this wasting hours upon hours of my time trying to get my request filled and I am always met with an excuse. Some of the request are complex and some of them are as simple as a $20 part from home depot that takes 5 minutes to replace. I am astonished that a company this slow and non customer centric has managed to stay in business. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience with this company. If negative stars were an option that's what they would be getting. For starters, within 2 weeks of moving in, our AC Unit went out. In the middle of July. In Phoenix. Took us numerous calls (we left multiple messages) and TWO WEEKS for it to be fixed. We had 2 cats and a small puppy in the home so not having an AC was unacceptable. It was difficult to ever get in contact with anyone for whatever reason we needed. We never received a key fob for pool access (again, multiple calls and emails about that). Upon move out, per our lease agreement, we had to be moved out by 12 pm on the 31st and ready for a walk through inspection. Okay no problem right? Except no one showed up for the inspection until the FOURTH of the following month. We cleaned that place spotless and left it in better condition than when we moved into it. However, they still tried to charge us $3,000 on top of not giving us our security deposit back for numerous things including mold (?) growing in our fridge, AND an extra weeks worth of rent because we apparently weren't out on the specified date. I had my attorney reach out to them for legal reasons and they never responded to her emails (shocker). Now a year later I'm trying to rent a new apartment and got denied because of their asinine charges. My attorney will be reaching out to renters warehouse again to get these charges removed but its ridiculous I'm still dealing with this a year later! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM read more

This company is HORRIBLE! Never again. They suck at communicating and never get anything scheduled correctly. I can't wait til our year lease is done so we can be rid of Renters Warehouse.
