The man that showed me the rental unit could care less I liked the location of the unit and it had a small patio for my dog I told him before I applied that I had my own business, but I also collected Social Security if you put all of my income together, it exceeded the amount of the 3 1/2 times income After paying for my own application, it was denied The place was rundown and ghetto anyway so I wasn't too disappointed It took forever to get an answer believe me these people don't care about tenants or landlords. We have leased from Renters Warehouse for three years. We had a few bumps at move in but they came through and helped us through them. Any maintenance needed was handled speedy and without fail. A couple years ago we were connected with the senior property manager, Linda Lovelady, for a simple issue. I cannot praise her enough. She has come to be a god send to our family. We have had questions and concerns as we come near the end of our lease and Linda has ALWAYS been quick to respond. She has consistently gone the extra mile for us. Her kindness and attention to detail are out of this world. I wish I could just give her a big hug (it's the southern in me ). I called Sally Binuya at Renter's Warehouse on a Saturday afternoon since I just couldn't find time to call during the week. With most people, a Saturday call would mean I'd leave a message and hope for a call back on Monday. In Sally's case, she answered the call, researched my questions, provided answers and solutions to each rental property task I put on her plate, and provided entertainment along the way despite me pestering her during the weekend. I want to thank her for more than just this weekend's call though. Years ago, back when I tried to manage these properties, they were expensive migraines with high turnover. Ever since Sally and her team at Renter's Warehouse took over, they became profitable investments that are full of happy tenants. These people are absolute criminal slumlords. They tried to violate my tenants rights over 15 times. I'm in the process of suing for harassment, and so far my count is 16 attempts to violate tenant's rights. The owner of my house refused to replace a broken grudge for over 5 months after costing me hundreds in spoiled food and Renter's Warehouse retaliated by trying to schedule appointments where the new drudge could be delivered at any point in the day (in a 24 hr period), which was often when I was at work. They refused to do repairs at a reasonable time, and they eventually just stopped doing necessary repairs altogether. 3 out of 5 outlets in my kitchen went out and fire alarms died. Renter's Warehouse retaliated for me reporting necessary repairs and demanding that they come at reasonable times with a 2 to 4 hr window so I could be home and make sure my dog didn't cause problems by refusing all repairs altogether. The outlets in the kitchen, the fire alarms, the mold smells, etc were all ignored. When they did do repairs they were MONTHS late, and they were literally never compliant with tenant's rights to timely repairs, healthy & safety standards, respect of privacy, etc. They also sent over repairman around 6am without notice (let alone the 48 hrs required by law), and they supported the owner's harassment of me when the owner kept coming over unannounced. They let the owner replace the ac coils with coils that were too small, and it made my ac bill over $600 a month for a unit that is 1,100 sq ft. The mold made me and dog very sick, and they still never did anything about it. This was at 4201 N 106th Dr, Phoenix, 85037. The slumlords are over an hour and a half for final walkthrough. I believe they're trying to make it impossible for me to attend so that can lie about things being wrong & steal more of my money. Don't walk away from Renter's Warehouse, RUN!! read more

Do not use this company if you are the Home Owner, they will NOT look out for your best interest. It has been a nightmare trying to get them to deal with bad tenants they put in our townhouse. People living there that are not on the lease, carpets have been destroyed, yard is destroyed. They offer no help or enforcement. These complaints are answered with, " The house is just lived in", "The extra people aren't living there, they just spend the night" They do NOT look out for the welfare of the homeowner. we recently rented a property from Renters warehouse didn't have so much of a problem with renters warehouse as we did with the actual landlord she took forever to get things fixed. We actually had to call three on your side regarding a water leak in the backyard from the Spicket due to the fact that we had put in multiple request to get it fixed, and it was costing us a ton of money in our water bill after we did that the Landlord would send over her own maintenance woman named Rhonda who showed up unannounced to fix a ceiling fan. They are supposed to give 24 hours notice before coming over. She did not do that but being that we wanted the ceiling fan fixed and have nothing to hide we let her in. She ran off and made a false report, saying there were holes in the walls The carpet was destroyed The backyard was a mess. There were also two children living there that were not supposed to be there I have a six-year-old and a seven-year-old that we're supposed to be put on the lease. Don't know how I forgot to put them on the lease, but I didn't and I know I didn't for her to complain about two children living in a home when they are not 18 years of age is insane to me, they were two toddlers they were supposed to be put on the lease. I took pictures and documented everything. We took very good care of that place. We filled any kind of nail holes when we moved out, those are the only holes I could think of when she complained and said there was a hole from when I was putting up my wall mount for my television, but that was it of course we filled that before we moved out as far as the carpet goes the carpet was already messed up when we moved in the person who lived there before had cats that had torn up the carpet and they did not fix that before we moved in. There was lots of things wrong with that place that been fixed before we moved in, but we did not complain. We were just happy to have a quiet place to live when we moved in there was a nasty smell of cat pee every time it rained outside. The carpets were already bad when we moved in. I was actually kind of shocked, but they were not destroyed and we sure as hell did not destroy them either after the maintenance woman came over and made the false report. We got a message from renters warehouse saying that. there was a complaint from our recent inspection. I emailed them back saying what inspection? You mean when the maintenance lady came over without notice to fix the ceiling fan? I didn't know that was an inspection if so, it was an illegal inspection I addressed the children not being on the lease and said that's not my fault that's your fault for not putting them on the lease. Please tell me why I would forget to put my two children on the lease. After that, we got no response from renters warehouse and absolutely no more responses from the landlord than when it came time to renew the lease. Of course she did not renew the lease, which is fine because we ended up finding a bigger better place anyways. now we don't have to deal with unstable unpredictable people, but if anybody moves into that property be aware that the is a nightmare to deal with so is her maintenance lady in fact, I'm pretty sure she has made a complaint on this very site that is absolutely not true I have pictures and evidence to prove it I am a professional House Cleaner I clean moving and move out cleans all day long. I know how to keep a house clean we would steam clean the carpets every couple of months because I had a steam cleaner. I kept the place very clean. My children did not draw on walls or do any of those of things and even if they did, I would've made sure to take care of it. read more

Do not use this company for ongoing management of your property. I have not received rent for two months despite calling and emailing dozens of times only to be told "I'm going to get to the bottom of this" and then never hearing from the person again. Also, the maintenance management was absolutely horrible. It has cost me around $10k since Jan. I have been told (by Renters Warehouse themself) that they use overpriced vendors and then they don't manage or oversee the work so it becomes a complicated mess. I paid $500 to have two backyard trees trimmed. I sent pictures of the trees and discussed it with the maintenance coordinator ahead of time. The vendor trimmed a small tree in the front yard that is maintained by the HOA instead of the trees I indicated and the coordinator did nothing about it despite my addressing it numerous times. And that's just one example of many. I had such a wonderful experience when I used Renters Warehouse to find a tenant that I mistakenly thought having them managing my property was going to be an equally good experience. I was sadly mistaken. My property is located in Phoenix AZ but I believe I have been dealing with their corporate office, however the Phoenix branch did not help me to resolve the matter either. I have canceled my contract and am glad to be done dealing with this giant headache but I thought I'd take the time to share to hopefully warn others considering using this company. read more

I would take stars away honestly. Renters Warehouse has been the worst renting experience I have ever had. And I will be making it know on any platform I can, tell every friend & family to avoid at all cost. This last year has been a living hell, this is the short version. 5 months pregnant with our first baby we were ecstatic to find a house, we moved in at the end of February. By April the first of the issues arrise. Previous HOA violations and the AC busted. The AC was an uphill battle, never actually fixed I just suffered in a house that hit 90° everyday till the cool season finally hit. Multiple AC techs came out but the home owner refused to actually fix it just recharge it. Baby was born in June, you can imagine this was not an ideal living situation. Then there was the weird painter, hired for HOA violation faded paint. Odd hours, damaged my personal property in the back yard. Then the electrician for outlets that kept going out. Then the major leak happened in August. Plumber was told leaky faucet not flooded bathroom. Dry out team, 8 large industrial fans and a generator for a week. 2 large holes in the wall for a month. This whole time there is a heavy mold smell, we have stopped using the master bedroom and bathroom since reporting the leak. I had to call in to get updates on when they would finish handling the repair. Next tech is scheduled, wrong services. Another Tech is scheduled he rips out large panels of dry wall, there is mold. Nothing professional is done about the mold he sprays a common household mold/mildew spray. I've had headaches for weeks from the mold smell, now it mixed with chemicals. Me & my 2 month old are at the house during repairs. He pulls out 3 large black bags of soaked drywall, baseboards and a shelf with mold. No containment procedures, nothing, not even a mention of the mold on his invoice. Anyways, he tells R.W. it has to air dry, we stay at a hotel, you couldn't breath in the house. Comes back after a few days and says he's being rushed to finish. Im asking about proper mold inspection or clean up and i was ignored. The energey that this was taking was draning me, i was constantly emailing or calling while having to take care of a 3 month old now. He finished. Emergency maintenance request, 1 month. A few months later we are having symptoms of mold exposure. We purchase an at home test and the results were positive, we request they do proper testing as they should have while the wall was open. We stop using the bathroom all together to avoid any moisture, plastic wrap the doorway. After 2 weeks one vendor comes out, recommends R.W. do an air quality test. 1 day short of a month the air quality test is preformed, during that entire month they are saying there is no mold meanwhile there are actual photos from their tech in their work order website. The test came back negative because the mold spores count was higher outside then it was inside. They say because the test is negative we are responsible for the bill, no prior mention of this detail. We go back and forth, testing should have been completed at the time of repair and is the first step in finding out if the house is a safe and habitable environment per AZ law. They then begin to LIE stating the drywall tech had a report stating he did not find anything of concern and they knew the house was safe prior to the test being preformed, they had found this report in their records. I asked for the report R.W. said they needed to get it from the company that the tech is with. Another month waiting for this info that was apparently on hand, im offered a "screenshot" of an email. Looks fabricated. Lie, lies, lies. Days before move out our security deposit is being dangled above our heads, we are being told to preform move out services and provide receipts or be charged. We moved out, security deposit statement is sent. We are being charged for HOA fines we were never informed of. Per the H.O. we were not the ones informing them. Never again will I deal with this nightmare of a company. read more

Roof leaked the whole time I lived there and we had nothing but problems with owner trying to tell us when work should be done. Not around our schedule. Then at the end the kept our deposit and the place was spotless. They are liars and full of crap. No invoices to back up repair costs or pictures because they are liars.
