What they did NOT tell me when I bought Total Ech Support is that it applies only if Best Buy has that type of techie "in your area". Worthless. They had me pushing buttons on the front panel in varying seque, for varying numbers of seconds, for an hour--not counting the time I was on hold. Finally, they said they could not help. I started calling appliance repair places all over my zip code. Most could "call me within two business days to tell me when they could 'get to me'". One quoted $120 just to show up--whenever that might be. BUT, THEN--angels sang and harps played as I received a prompt call back from Kierski! They showed up just 5 minutes later, worked magic on my Samsung side-by-side, accepted a check for only $65 (service call charge only!), AND Rich and Chesney were pleasant and professional! put their information in your phone! Most of what I said four years ago still applies, though this time it wasn't the LG washer giving us a problem, but rather its partner "top-rated" LG dryer, its grinding beginning to sound like fingernails pulled across a chalkboard. Among other things, I now have: *A dryer that looks, operates, and even sounds a lot like my Mom's old Maytag, with rotary dial controls, and no silly electronic songs; *A product made in the USA; *A five-year in-home warranty, all parts and labor, and various other partial warranties after that; *A 25-year expected life span, so the next dryer I buy may be for my assisted-living apartment; *The great satisfaction of never again having to ask for assistance from LG customer service. Speed Queen is the most reliable brand, yet I believe Consumer Reports still does not recommend it, apparently because CR thinks it is not energy efficient. But how energy- and resource-efficient can it be to manufacture, ship, purchase, use, and dispose of a machine that works only five or ten years, like my junky old "top-rated" LGs?

We had a long wait time because apparently the fridge had to be custom ordered, fine. Spent a decent chunk of money on the 2. When they finally delivered they didn't come at their scheduled day, said they were running too behind and it would be the next day, when we went to check on our renovations they had in fact come into our house (no one home) and left the appliances sitting in our unfinished addition that also has stairs leading down to it (making it impossible for us to move the appliances). The refrigerator door had warped screws and doors fell off, ice machine broke first week, the bottom of the fridge foot was broken and ruined all our brand new wood floors. We wrote a lot off but our contractor told us we needed new doors (mind you the fridge can't be opened without proper panels and hardware of which we cannot install until we have doors and screws that actually work),we have been waiting months for new doors to arrive. They have been unhelpful, unbothered, haven't done anything, after 2.5 months they told us to call the manufacturer and that we would have to put the doors on (costing more money to hire people)... I have gone in the store several times and each time they have gotten more indignant and I'm frustrated, it's the worst customer service experience and wish I would have spent the $17k+ elsewhere.

They had just what we wanted and gave us a great deal. Our sales person was very knowledgeable, way more the the big places. He took awesome care of us and it was delivered within a few days! I love my new stove! If you are in need of appliances, I highly recommend Mark's. The repair guy came back today and fixed the dishwasher. Hopefully this is the last time for awhile. So we have a happy ending. I want to make an amendment to the prior update. It turns out the electrician who checked our House didn't do a good job! I will be reviewing them next! Anyway, it ended up being our electricity and not the two dishwashers! I feel terrible about this and want everyone to know that Mark's appliance is a wonderful store!
