We are already saving up to continue the job into the master bed and bathrooms, and Matt will be the guy we call!

It turned out that the contractor had installed a variety of electrical switches and outlets at a variety of levels which all needed to be set straight before the tiling could be done. I was very glad that we had called in a true expert instead of going with the contractor for the work. Jason was terrific to work with and his work has held for over 10 years. Meanwhile, the grout and calking done by a contractor in the bathroom has been redone several times and has never looked as good or held up well. I am now hoping that the Backsplash Company will do my bathroom tile.

But here's the best part, because they knew we were going to handle the rest ourselves, THEY GAVE US SO MUCH ADVICE to set us up for success. I counted four times they gave us advice that saved us from making costly errors as we attempt to finish. Most contractors I know would keep quiet knowing that they'd soon get a call to fix it. Not On the Ball, they wanted us to succeed. Bill and Ronnie are straight shooters, courteous lightning fast pros. Their cost was very fair. They clean up each day and leave things neat and orderly. They liked to come early in the morning but chose to do quieter things for first couple hours as my wife is not a morning person. Right?! How considerate is that? I highly recommend On the Ball Construction. Honestly they do just about any construction and remodeling job.

They stopped arriving on time, often afternoon, and would then quit after a few hours. Worse yet, at times, they would try to stay late painting at night only to have to repaint the next day what they messed up from not being able to paint at night. The quality dropped precipitously, as seen in these photos. They kept starting jobs and then not finishing. They weren't taping anything off, so things looked worse and worse. We received many promises and excuses about the situation, but things only worsened. After three months, I had to terminate our contract as there was no hope of a resolution. I paid half up front, and my house was in rough shape, but I hoped I'd be able to get someone else to finish it. However, all the painters who came to bid refused to work on it; the work was so shoddy. Because TBW hadn't properly prepped the siding of my house, when I ran my finger along it, the paint peeled off. As evidenced by the attached picture, that paint has already begun bubbling. That means I'm not only paying for a whole new paint job, but I also have to spend more money to get all the paint stripped.
