I then gave them another pair of shoes for heel replacement because I was happy with my first pair. If you need shoes, boots, or buffing out of your shoes then I highly recommend this shop. Btw, you do need to pay them for services beforehand. I wear my shoes until the heels wear out and then have them replaced because comfort trumps fashion.

Ron found a unique display shoe that caught my attention, but when he brought the actual pair out from the back, I didn't like them as much. Their leathers are all 100% natural (no chemicals) so the colors can differ from pair to pair. I told Ron I liked the heel piece darker, the way the display looked. Without committing to buy them, Ron took out a polish kit and began modifying the leather by hand, to make them just the way I wanted them. He ended up doing 4 or 5 coats by hand and let them dry overnight. They came out perfect! The shoes themselves are incredibly comfortable and supportive, a very high quality product. The prices are not cheap, but if you compare the quality and unique style per dollar spent, Rider offers a great value play compared to the boot shops you'll find in big cities like Boston or NYC. I highly recommend Rider boots, Ron, and Lisa to anyone in the market.
