It turns out it is a goth type establishment. I'm not very goth myself but most certainly appreciate colorful makeup, black clothing and jewelry and the like. I believe they very recently opened so there was a huge selection of clothing but they have room for more. The goth woman (or man or whatever gender) in your life will LOVE the clothes, shoes, makeup etc. Yes--there shoes, jewelry, belts, bracelets, delightfully snarky greeting cards, pins and things for babies and children. I liked the coffin shaped crib for sale. The prices were great and the dude working there was great. I plan to go back in a few months and see what else comes in. I was happy to walk about with a funny card and cheek/lip color. I'm definitely checking back in a few months because I think they will have even more things.

There was not one thing I would put on my body and it seems as if the buyers were trying to find the most unflattering dresses possible. Who is their target customer? While price isn't an issue for me, I didn't bother to look at the prices because I didn't like anything. I guess if you pay $500 for an ugly dress, the price makes it less ugly? On the bright side,their new location across the street on Grove is spacious and inviting. I've often wondered why they don't put a sign up with the name of their store. I guess they have dedicated clientele who don't need a sign. I walk by the store every day, but will not be back.

The staff is always nice and very helpful. Highlights include the trinkets/collectibles in the back of the store, the jewelry, and the vintage lingerie rack. Because of it's well lit set up and the tunes being heard from the store lured us in to see what's up. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted. And asked if help is needed to let them know. This store looks to be black owned, something I love !! So we browsed and saw some haute (hot) kicks (shoes). Sales were being offered too. Now I love a sale and from a boutique shop...that's rare. Babe found two pair of shoes and I did as well. Shoes sold here are usually not in your chain shoe stores: Athletes Foot, Foot Locker or even DTLR. The only detractors were the really strangely lit room in the back, which made it really hard to see anything, and the fact that the giant TV in the front was being used like someone's private living room. It was a little awkward when I was in there with my wife and it starting blasting while people were eating and yelling in front of it. The guy at the register was nice though, and very helpful. They have a huge selection of outfits and accessories. It's a tiny shop, but you're able to find some creative gems. I think the pricing is fair, but know since it's consignment you can be getting things in the $15-30+ range. I love that you don't need an appointment to sell clothes. You give your ID and info and if they want to buy something you can get store credit. If you want cash, you need to make an appointment. As of Feb 2026, if you want to do walk-in it's only store credit that's offered. This is located really close to VCU so you're able to find a lot of trendy and art school inspired pieces. I usually walk here. You're able to take the Pulse too. Street parking can be a bit tricky, but is available. I highly recommend checking out this local thrift store.
