I brought my vehicle in specifically requesting a transmission fluid change using ATF+4, which is…read morethe only correct fluid for my car . I told them clearly what my vehicle required but they dismissed my concern, saying they had "a better oil" and not to worry. Shortly after the service, my transmission started failing. It would go into neutral after 2nd gear, and eventually wouldn't shift properly at all. I've now had to disassemble the transmission valve body and found broken internal parts and serious contamination -- all consistent with using the wrong fluid. This is not just poor service -- it's negligence. Transmission fluid is not optional -- using the wrong one can destroy a gearbox, and that's exactly what happened. If you care about your car, avoid this shop at all costs. They don't listen to customers, they don't follow manufacturer specifications, and now I'm stuck with a major repair that could've been easily avoided.

Waring!!!! Do not take any vehicle here. I ended up paying for the price. I get!! Got a…read moretransmission rebuilt for my vintage truck .. Ends up nothing but a hassle. They kept my truck for weeks and on top of it all ends up with a big front end Damage good to the truck as if out of frustration. They took it out on my vintage vehicle!! I have very much o CD on this truck. And I have pictures to prove it. He says that he'll go through the cameras and that he did nothing wrong!! You'll be the judge when you try and call them and they give you the run around or lies.... To me it looks like a pipe wrench monkey wrench. No where else is there damage!!

Serj went out of his way to come to my house and check out the problem himself. What other…read moremechanics would do that? He got my BMW 3 series back to its working condition and more. The turn around was little less than a week. The video updates he sent is what makes him an honest mechanic as he gave me a step by step to what he is going to do. The quote he gave me was substantially a lot less than what my other mechanic gave me. I've had the car back for about 3 weeks now and no problems. He did a great job on my transmission problem.

CHOOSE THIS SHOP FOR YOUR TRANSMISSION NEEDS! If you're reading this review your transmission most…read morelikely went out and you need to rebuild it. So sorry about the terrible news. You're probably even thinking about buying a new car since transmission replacement is an expensive repair that most likely costs more than the car is worth. My advice...save money in the long run (especially with the tariffs currently being imposed world wide) and get your transmission repaired. You can save the extra money for a rainy day or for other things. My 2012 Kia Sorento has over 211,000 miles on it and the transmission finally wore out. The gears were slipping and there was no power when I stepped down on the pedal. I called around to two other local shops before calling Arminco. Both places were WAY more expensive than Arminco and said they would need more time to repair my car (one shop said they needed a month and the other shop said that they needed a week and a half to rebuild the transmission). When I called Arminco and spoke to Serj, his price was more fair and his estimated time was shorter (he said he would have my car back to me in a week). After reading all of the positive reviews online I decided to have Arminco do repair the repair on my transmission. When I arrived at Arminco Serj took my car on a test drive while he explained what was happening with my gears. Serj explained that he works on a lot of Mercedes and BMW vehicles. After dropping my car off it was ready in 4 days instead of a week. Raymond also informed me that my axel needed to be replaced. When I picked up my car it ran perfectly! Serj provides a warranty for the first 12,000 miles or 1 year (whichever comes first). Thank you Arminco for repairing my Sorento so quickly; it feels great to be back on the road!
