Steer clear of this MonsterMufflerMadness!!! Went here on my lunch break to get a little annoying rattle that was coming from underneath my trucks carriage somewhere in the exhaust near the catalytic converters. Now the only reason I knew it was coming from the exhaust and not the engine compartment was because I had it inspected previously by an actual well trusted mechanic whom assured me it was exhaust related and not a mechanical issue . I explained all this to the grumpy ill mannered muffler man at the shop only to be interrupted by him insisting it was coming from a pipe that had been welded to close to my trucks chasis. Before I could say anything else he quoted me at $50 to fix the problem . For $50 dollars I immediately agreed and Dr. Frankenstein went to work ! 25 minutes later he claims to have fixed my trucks annoying rattle . I happily handed over to him the money owed turned the key and was immediately greeted by the same miserable rattle !! WTF? Brought this to mufflers mans attention and he said the rattle was coming from some other place and he didn't know where !! Said he would get to the source for an additional fee !! This guy is smoking his own muffler fumes if he thinks I'm gonna give him some more of my hard earned money to fix something I had already paid him to fix in the first place !! This place is ass, this is why i do all the work on my truck myself, i installed headers on my truck, did all the work, just needed Y pipe cut and re welded for fitment, i was nice enough to supply all stainless hardware... price was high( $120 just to cut and re weld a small section of my Y pipe) but i need my truck running that same day. Got the truck back, welds were leaking and when i went to do my oil change they did not use any of my hardware it was all old nuts and bolts used. Great service by Alfonso and Alfonso Jr. Brought my 1984 VW in for a muffler. Great price and quick service. When driving it home I heard an exhaust leak. Turned around and brought it back. They checked it out and found a small hole in the pipe between the muffler and cat. Alfonso welded the hole for no extra charge. I know the pipe will need replacing based on the age and I will be bringing it back to him when its time. read more

I will never recommend this place to anyone ever, unless they want to have a mickey job done and ripped off. The owner is a unprofessional, disrespectful and unlicensed douche bag. They did a horrible job welding a pipe for my exhaust. I pointed out that there was a hole that wasn't welded. The owner simply looked at it for a second and automatically assumed there was no hole. They also do illegal work here such as removing cats and replacing the muffler with a straight pipe. Very, very unprofessional and completely screwed up my exhaust system. The tip is not even straight, its pointing up and to the side. After they were done I told him that it looked wrong and he didn't care and said it's too late and asked for the money. He also took my old exhaust system and said it was trash. He took it to the back in another pile. He's obviously going to keep it and sell it online. This is outrageous and sad.
