He called about an hour before I needed it saying they were wrapping up and shared the final price which ended up being a few dollars less than the original estimate. The problem is after paying $500 for a new starter, my van still wouldn't start. After hours of trial and error, the mechanic decided to clean my battery terminals. Once finished, the mechanic determined it was a dirty terminal/battery issue, and not the starter. I could have cleaned the battery terminals for free. I could have bought a new kit for the terminals for $20 on Amazon. Instead, I'm out $500 for a starter I didn't need. I tried looking for a solution with Francisco. I tried to be understanding as I am a business owner as well, and I know mistakes happen. However, Francisco only offered me my $55 inspection fee back. At first, I was insulted. I could have a asked for a complete refund. But then I thought to myself, I'll just take the $55 and be done with this problem. We are going on 4 days, I have been left on read multiple times, and am still waiting on the $55. I tried to be nice but instead feel taken advantage of.
