Just wonderful!! I'm glad I am able to finally make it over and try them out! Heard great things and it was worth it Located in a shopping center with tons of other shops, so there's plenty of parking. I was greeted when I walked in and took a look at their menu on the right side of the wall. They also have paper menu of their food items near the register. I got their macarons and cream puffs. Absolutely delicious. Each one was wonderful! I want to come back to try their drinks/ coffee/bubble tea. The service is exceptional and the little cafe is clean. I know I just updated my review seven months ago, but it's official, I cannot live without Rendezvous Cafe! I stop by about once or twice a week and order my usual, honey cinnamon oat milk latte. I'm addicted! I can't leave Rendezvous Cafe without it. They serve Counter Culture coffee which is one of my faves. I come here quite often that they greet me by my name and know my coffee order. Now they just ask, "hot or iced?" I'm sorta kidding... Their pastries are irresistable! It takes everything in me not to get at least one with my coffee. They always have new and fun macaron and cream puff flavors every week. They announce new flavors on their IG @rendezvouscafe. My favorite mac flavors are salted caramel, cotton candy, strawberry matcha and creme brulee! Their cookies and scones are bomb, too. Everything is made in house and they often have gluten-free options. If I'm really hungry, I'll either get a smoked salmon panini, veggie gyro or a vegetarian salad with smoked salmon. All very delicious and filling! Besides the food, the people are what keeps me coming back. The cafe is owned and operated by the sweetest, most wonderful, most genuine family. They took over Rendezvous Cafe in May of 2019 and have really turned the place around. Even the dining room got a facelift. Overall a poor experience. They stop serving food at 2:30 and also close their bathrooms at this time for some reason? My ube latte was nasty, paid $8 to throw in the trash. My friends matcha was extremely gritty and grainy and "the worst matcha she's ever had" to quote her. Rendezvous cafe was okay in my opinion and I had high expectations for this cafe too. I stopped by twice, the first time was around 4 pm and they were sold out of a lot of desserts. The second time, it was early morning and the pastry options were that great. I have ordered the following: -Lavender Latte -Chocolate macaron The lavender latte wasn't strong and wasn't that sweet. My barista wasn't that nice and I'm not sure, not that helpful for someone who was visiting the cafe for the first time. The macaron didn't have the usual soft but crunchy texture of a macaron. Took a friend to celebrate her birthday a few days late. I had the berry tea and she had the berry tea lemonade. I asked for a refill and was told only on the berry tea I had. So I asked if they could refill hers with the same. They said no. Asked for a to go water cup and was handed a small cup with no lid. Hard to believe a business would refuse to give a tea refill that costs pennies while charging over $3. We won't be back. read more

Located in the Belk shopping center, this cozy but pocket-sized coffee shop serves up more then just a great cup of brewed coffee. On their menu you will find a good variety of coffee drinks, smoothies and even bubble teas! They also sell different delectable pastries and sandwiches/ paninis. The sandwiches/ paninis are made fresh once your order. Over the span of two weeks I have stopped in four times now to try their different bubble tea drinks. This coffee shop currently offers three different bubble teas which include Honeysuckle Nectar, Creme Caramel and Bombay Chai. The Honeysuckle Nectar is like your typical Oolong milk tea taste with a sweet honey flavor. The Bombay Chai has a nice subtle cinnamon(y) flavor and the Creme Caramel has a smooth caramel taste! Depending on what your taste buds are craving that day, all three bubble teas are refreshing, delicious and unique from one another in flavor. For those that cannot have regular milk/ dairy, they also offer coconut milk and almond milk as a substitute! The price tag on these 16oz bubble teas is $4.55 including tax. They do offer a 15% military discount when you show your military ID which brings the price down to $3.87 after tax! I thoroughly enjoy visiting this small local coffee shop. I will say that the ambiance inside is a bit like a library. There is no music playing, so anything you say feels like it's amplified inside. This is not necessarily a bad thing as most people actually enjoy working in quieter environments. The noise level at Starbucks can get loud when the place is packed and everyone is wanting to have a conversation. That being said, if you are looking for a coffee shop/ cafe that has a quieter environment for working and meeting up with friends to grab a coffee and hang out, then look no further! They have free wifi which is an added bonus for a local coffee shop. I will always support local independent businesses over chains as local businesses seem to care more about their customers rather then sales. If you take care of your customers first, then they will more then likely return again and again for the experience. Keep up the excellent work you guys and continue striving to provide excellent customer service for all customers that walk in your door. Love coffee? Love chai? Then forget Starbucks! Rendezvous has the best dirty chai around town and you'll be supporting a local business . It's been awhile since I've visited, but seriously their coffee and chai beats Starbucks hands down and they've always been so nice. They also have great food options if you're hungry or just need a little snack. read more

Cafe Rendezvous sits in a plaza which affords more than enough parking. I got here around noon and they definitely have a lunch crowd but it didn't impact me getting in and out. I tried the cafe au lait, green explosion smoothie (which was very good) and admittedly the macaroons were quite good as well. The cafe itself is adequate in size with a few tables and small lounge area upon walking in. First timers at Rendezvous Cafe!! My husband and I like to go out for breakfast on the weekends. We've been to so many restaurants in the area but had never been here before. I mistakenly thought it was only a coffee shop (no food options), boy was I wrong! We had great breakfast sandwiches there! For some reason, they don't list the sandwiches on the menu on the wall but please ask or take one of their printed menus to see the entire menu. I had the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was fabulous! Hubby had the ham croissant and also enjoyed it. Omg, their baked goods in the cabinet looked awesome as well, so we bought a good selection to share with friends - the walnut chocolate chip banana bread was our favorite! Very creative on the macaroons as well !! Oh and they also offer bubble tea! Staff was friendly and service was quick. Will definitely be back. This is our go to place for a coffee and quick snack/lunch while we are out shopping. The drinks are always fresh and are great. Sandwiches are also freshly made. I don't know if they are an independent or a chain, but they feel like a family owned business, where attention to detail and quality of product and service come first. I also like supporting local businesses as well, and they make it easy to do so. The staff are great and very customer focussed . Definitely try this place, instead of stopping at the 'bucks' or DD. I live about an hour south from where this restaurant is. I drove up on business. My meeting ended at 9:30am and I figured I'd stop in to wait for traffic to die down. Boy am I glad I did! Small, quaint place with soothing music. Sooo much better than Starbucks. I ordered a drip coffee with almond milk. Not sure what type of almond milk they use but it's delicious, the coffee is good too. To eat, I got the staff fave, lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel. YUM! The lady behind the counter was as sweet as my almond milk and as pretty as my breakfast :-) Parking is easy and it's a great spot to open up the laptop and get some work done. I got a seasonal latte and I enjoyed it. There was only one girl working there but she was very polite and she worked pretty quickly! They had lots of fun treat options. Visited a friend in nearby hospital on June 14th. Stopped because it wasn't a big box chain. Seemed to be a new person training which has its on challenges, however, Anna who seemed seasoned took my order and was super friendly and knowledgeable about where the coffee is sourced etc. Why 4 star? Got the chicken pesto sandwich with tomato soup, the turkey and avocado sandwich on wheat with the cucumber tomato salad, and the veggie salad. Where do I begin?! The salad was my absolute favorite. Lots of veggies, yummy hummus...just so good! The sandwiches were good. I would have liked them both maybe hotter, but the flavors were excellent. Fresh ingredients, liked them a lot. The soup as a side was great. Hearty for tomato soup. The cucumber salad was also excellent. Finished the meal with a lavender latte. Was so happy with my choice. The quality of the coffee is obviously superior to Starbucks (which feels like the only option in Cumming most of the time). I loved it. Also had some macarons and they were awesome. Went there looking for the "puffs" pictured. Not only was there nothing that resembled a puff the pastry cabinet was near empty. Not like they were all sold empty. More like they were never there empty. I asked about them and wasn't given a clear explanation from the girl at the register. Just "this is what we have". I can't help feeling like I went out of my way for no reason, hoping to bring a puff home to my daughter. That was a won't be back experience if I've ever had one.
