We even called, and they let us know you have to walk around to find it. Ren Coffee is still one of my favorite coffee/matcha spots in Broward and I'm so excited for them to be moving out of Alley Cats and into their own space in Davie!! For now they are temporarily located at Bamboo & Orchid Gardens; 2325 S Flamingo Rd Davie, FL 33325, until their store is ready. The staff is super sweet as always. I always like to ask what their favorite menu items are and try them out myself to review and I have never been let down by their recommendations. Today is was raining pretty badly so I wasn't able to sit and enjoy the vibe of their new spot, but I will say it looks like a place where people can enjoy their drinks/meal and enjoy when the weather cooperates. You can also take a stroll through the rows of plants and flowers while you wait which is always very nice and relaxing. This coffee shop is located in a beautiful space, surrounded by trees, plants and flowers, with very nice areas to sit and relax; however, the quality of their coffee is under par and the wait to get your order is extremely long. I have not tried their food items, so I cannot comment on their quality, but the coffee I ordered (cortado) was way off the mark. Not a place I will go back to. read more

Stopped into REN Coffee, which is tucked inside a super cool shop called Alley Cats -- kind of a vintage / consignment vibe with character everywhere you look. It's one of those spots where you walk in and don't even know where to look first. There were plenty of people working, and since I had no idea what to order, the girl at the counter walked me through their options and gave recommendations without rushing me. That already made the experience better. I went with the Cinnamon Roll coffee, and wow -- it was so good. Just the right hint of sweetness without being overpowering. I went to the new location in Davie on Flamingo road. It was a nice location within the nursery. The line was super long but I think it may be because they just opened two days ago. The cinnamon bun latte is super delicious and the cold foam literally tastes like the icing of a cinnamon bun. I am not a huge fan of avocado toast but my friend purchased it and it was actually extremely flavorful and delicious. It was a bit expensive for the avocado toast but overall very good. Went to get matcha today even though I was hoping to be able to get the coquito holiday special. It was disappointing to visit for the second time and not having the drink I want. The first time they didn't have matcha. However the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me pick out a match with baklava syrup, cold foam and pistachio milk. Start to finish I was probably there 30 minutes waiting in line and for my order. Ren Coffee Cart is a a great matcha and coffee spot that pops up in different spots with their current home inside of Alley Cats Vintage showroom in Hollywood. I've been meaning to come out and try Ren Coffee Cart and got to visit during their first week at Alley Cats. I am a matcha-lover and this is probably my favorite matcha in Broward County. I've been trying to find my go-to specialty matcha drinks and their menu has such a great variety, it was so hard to choose. They're super popular so there might be a line but it's worth the wait. The space they have is a bit small but fits the vibe. They have a small couch area within the store that you can sit and enjoy your coffee/matcha or even wait for it there. You can also peruse the showroom for some vintage goodies. Lani and her team are friendly and helpful and bless them for pumping out all those caffeine orders with their sometimes super long lines. When I first went, I got the matcha einspanner w/ pistachio milk (yes, they have pistachio milk!) and the matcha coconut cloud. Both were top tier but the einspanner took the cake for me. It was so good, I came back the next morning with a group of friends (sorry to contribute to the long wait times that morning) and we all got our caffeine fix. I can't have coffee but one of my friends got the "viral" cinnamon bun latte and, safe to say, they will be back. I got the salted pistachio matcha this time and it was good but nothing beats that einspanner. Their menu has a good variety to choose from but they'll easily have you coming back to try different drinks and their prices are probably the most reasonable I've seen for a specialty matcha in South FL. You can also customize your drink with different add ons and they are super transparent and fair about their pricing. Love love loveeee this spot and can't wait to trek out to Hollywood anytime I need my matcha fix for a lil "treat yourself" moment! read more

I visited Ren's coffee Cart on two occasions in December. The first time going there was a little challenge on finding the location- you'd not expect a coffee shop to be in a vintage thrift store. Parking was limited in the back, we had to circle two times. Upon arrival at the shop, it was small and busy. It took about 20-25 minutes to order and to receive our drinks. I ordered the salted pistachio iced matcha both times- the first drink tasted better. There was no consistency with both drink order. Overall a dope spot- we just need a stand alone location to handle the influx of people daily. read more

Edit: this is now my second time this week. The line is insane and waiting 20-30 mins for a coffee is a sin. Buzzing all over social media as a pop up coffee shop in a vintage clothing store called Alley Cats, so of course I had to experience this concept, which lately is a recent popular trend. Entered the nostaligic shop and was shocked by the line of thirsty coffee enthusiasts huddled next to vintage clothing. Four baristas were working the coffee cart which was a pleasing sight, but also several customers were lounging the sofa awaiting their brew. Ordered a Matcha Einspanner for $8.00 which was recommended by the cashier. Browsed the vintage clothing for twenty minutes then heard my name called by the barista echoing through the shop. ALRIGHT. I've seen so many TikTok's, Instagram tags about this coffee cart! So naturally I had to jump and try it. It is located in a cool vintage store - while waiting in line I was able to browse through the racks and found some cool items. Yes the line was long but not too bad. So many options to choose from, they're known for matcha but I'm not a matcha girlie. Coffee - yes please! Different options and all sounding so delicious. I recently visited Ren Coffee cart and found it to be one of the best matchas that I've had! The best and most unique part to me are the syrups that they use. Their syrups include flavors such as miso salted caramel, baklava, and French lavender. I tried a matcha latte with French lavender syrup and added the cream top. I loved the flavor that the syrup added and the matcha taste was also very nice. In terms of service, they make your matcha fresh for you, but note that it will take a little bit of time, especially if they are busy. For seating, there is none available so you'll need to either stand outside or take it to-go. I did find it a little pricey at almost $9, but I think that is likely common nowadays in the south Florida area. All in all, I would come back to try their other matcha flavors! read more

My first time was a weekday around 805am...just after opening...there was already about 3 people waiting for drinks and another one ready to order but there was only one person on staff...I was cautiously optimistic but I ended up getting a refund and leaving because I would have been late for work. Today, I finally get a chance to try the cinnamon bun latte from REN's coffee cart in the Alley Cats Thrift store. The line was long but moved quickly and got a chance to check out the vintage attire. Noticed the owner showing other shoppers the sport team jerseys and a few people making purchases. The coffee menu has a large list of Latte and Matcha coffees. First review of the New year, I been seeing this place all over IG and decided since I was in the area I would give it a try. I did drive pass it the first go at it. It wasn't busy when I came which was a late Monday morning. I decided to try two drinks because who knows when I would be back. I wanted the cinnamon roll flavor but they were out. So I got the salted pistachio Matcha latte iced. It was perfect. I discussed with the girl at the counter my preference of sweetness and she said that it should be sweet enough, so I decided to get it how it came, I loved it. And then I tried an iced latte in the spectaculus cookie flavor. It came with cookie crumbs on top and she asked me if I wanted a little dash of salt and I said yeah. It was amazing 10 out of 10.
