I politely explained the issue and expected I would be offered a credit/refund/ or store credit in some reasonable amount. When she sensed that I was confused by her "argument," I just pivoted and said, "ok, that is a bad decision by you". Some people should not have front-facing jobs. They should work in a warehouse, communicating with software and forklifts, away from the public. This frumpy gal would probably be a great forklift driver. She has no business in customer service - she may own the shop, and that is even worse. That section of 7th Ave is full of nice mom and pop stores with nice folks = not Lotions & Potions. The manager was very rude, downright disrespectful, stated we can't take that back. We are unable to tell if you opened it, WHAT? Cap still locked, nails unpolished, kindness and customer service expected, but all I got was two mean, very rude disrespectful people. The one called herself a manager, should have been working at a fast-food joint or stay at home with that Stang attitude. then the real nastiness came out. God will have to show them mercy they will need it. They broke my cap (it was whole and closed when taken off the self.) so grateful it didn't get on me or anything of mine. I showed a reference photo and confirmed ahead of time that I was booking the correct service. The ponytail was frizzy and not styled how I asked. The stylist mainly sprayed a lot of hairspray, brushed it back, and said I was done. When I asked for curls in the pony, I was told it was extra, which was frustrating since I had called beforehand to confirm the service. A few curls were added, but only part of the pony was curled and it wasn't set or sprayed. Overall, it did not look polished or photo-ready, and I left feeling really disappointed, especially since this was for such an important moment.
