I don't usually write review but because we know an honest quality contractor is so hard to find I need to give Remodel Magic and his team the credit for making my home a FIVE STAR hotel. My husband and I purchased a 2bedrooms apartment in Forest Hills which hasn't been updated for the last 60 years, it needed a lot of TLC. We know what we wanted just needed someone to make our vision into reality within our budget. We interview 4 contractors we liked Alex -Remodel Magic the best because he listens patiently, very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of ideas but we still needed to compare the proposal. To our surprise price can vary dramatically from one contractor costing double from others to one was so low it sounded too good to be true, we finally decided on Remodel Magic because his price was the second best, the payment terms was weekly which was fair plus we trusted Alex for his presentation. Still we was nervous as it is our first time hiring someone handling our hard earn money and don't know what to expect and we both work full time. The project took one and half month to complete, thanks to Alex professionalism and his team hard effort, our apartment transformation is like what you see on HGTV, WOW! Wait did I tell you throughout the project, Alex uses his iPhone FaceTime to keep us up to date, also with texting and email it saved us a so much time as well as eliminated a lot of potential errors, we were able to see our project in progress while we were working, love it. His team left our apartment broom clean and the work was precisely executed down to every detail, Alex even brought us a surprise painting gift which match our deco perfectly. Best contractor in our book and definitely will be recommending him to all of our friends and family. There is one minor issue, his team although polite but doesn't speak English however it didn't matter much, because Alex is very responsive at all times and he speaks perfect english. Remodel Magic has been good to us. Remember the quote from The Money Pit with Tom Hanks; "Two weeks! Two weeks!" ha ha When Remodel Magic told us they would complete our projects in 2 weeks, they actually delivered! (unlike those contractors from the movie) Working with Leo, Alex, Maia, Robert and the rest of the staff as been an absolute pleasure to work with. Leo personally re-did both our bathroom & my brother-in-law's bathroom. Plus my brother-in-law's kitchen. Beautiful, outstanding work! In addition, Remodel Magic repaved our concrete siding, built us a wonderful, very sturdy wooden shed by hand, upgraded/replaced windows & other projects. In general their prices seem honest & fair. Additionally, they standby their work 100% On our request they recently came back to reconnect a towel rack and relocated a hand towel rack free of charge, after the bathroom was finished and paid for. Leo is an absolute pleasure and an inspiration to have working in our home. He has such a strong work ethic! While re-doing our bathrooms, he respected our privacy, kept the door shut, wore a mask and listened to beautiful music on his phone for hours and hours! Robert (technician leader) and Alex (designer) are also a pleasure to work with and Maia (point of contact/project manager) is attentive, clear and communicative. The entire team are super professional, knowledgeable, punctual, honest, communicative with warm, down to earth vibes. Everyone is respectful and sincere. By the way, I have asthma and my wife has allergies so thankfully no one was a smoker! As a full time professional touring musician/educator who has traveled the world, knows lots of people and has hired different contractors, I give Remodel Magic A+++ 5/5 stars! When I became interested in renovating and modernizing my bathroom, I reached out to numerous design and build firms. I got detailed quotes from 4 different firms, Remodel Magic provide the cheapest quote, it was very competitive and I felt most comfortable proceeding with them. Both Alex and Barbara have been great to work with and they helped me make the best of my space and proposed designs that fit my needs and aligned with what was important to me. The approval from the co-op board was a struggle and I had to negotiate on some matters with the board. This added significant delays to the work start date and I didn't get approval for everything I wanted. The delays threw some of my plans off. While these delays weren't coming from Remodel Magic, rather from the co-op board, my feedback to Remodel Magic would be to keep track of the average time co-op boards take to approve bathroom renovations and set expectations with clients accordingly. Once the project was finally started, Remodel Magic delivered on the actual demolition and reconstruction work on time and made sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. I own a house in Great Neck that has a really old basement and that got damaged due to a flood from the water tank bursting. I called many contractors to give estimates. Remodel Magic gave a awesome price "leave it to me, I make it beautiful." Best decision of my life. These guys came in destroyed the old walls took out all the garbage including an old oil tank and gas heater. Made a brand new custom bathroom. New plumbing and electricity for the basement including a 220 volt which i wanted for a foreign appliance. LED lights, custom washing machine place. They also did some extra work that was not discussed in the contract free. Whole thing took around 10 days with 4 guys working on most days. I wish I took a before and after pic it was insane transformation. The elderly man who rents the next door neighbors basement asked me if I would give him our basement for 2k. Not for rent im going to enjoy this place for myself with a large TV and leather couch. read more

We recently used RM to renovate our bathroom in midtown Manhattan. We chose them for the design services provided. Designing the bathroom and choosing tiles and fixtures was made easy by the support of their team. We renovated the entire bathroom, changing out a bathtub for a stand-up shower and adding a custom linen cabinet, in addition to a new vanity, medicine cabinet and light fixture. They also re-tiled the floor and walls and replaced all the plumbing. The renovation process had a project manager who ensured all the work was done well and acted as a liaison between us and the contractors. The pricing was great for all the service provided; most of the costs were from materials, where you can spend however much you want depending on your own budget. The service was excellent and all encompassing including managing the permits and materials vendors. We are very happy with the finished look and highly recommend RM for both small and large jobs. read more

We refaced our kitchen cabinets with Remodel Magic a couple of months ago and are so pleased. The customer service is 5 star! From the salesman who spent 2 + hours in my home explaining the process and advising me on choices, and helping me pick out the granite countertops to the day of installation with Tony who carefully installed our cabinet doors and laminated all the old surfaces. Looks like a new kitchen and it only took a few days to install (vs weeks if we put in full cabinets). A few weeks later I noticed a scratched cabinet due to a corner screw rubbing it and they immediately replaced it and came up with a solution so it didn't happen again. The customer service outstanding! This is a great company with superb quality and service, especially for busy people who don't know a lot about design or have the time to shop around. They come to YOU! And the turnaround time is great! Within Weeks you can have a new kitchen! read more

Amazing amazing work !!!! We had the team build us an under the stairs storage space and we remodeled our Master Bathroom. They delivered beyond our expectations. Special thanks goes to Alex for being so patient with me. He came to my home and spent over an hour listening to my design ideas, did all the measurement and gave me an initial quote on the spot. The next day, I had a change of idea. He came over again, the same day I got my new idea and worked out the details with me again !!! He did it with much professionalism and patience. Very impressive service. Also another special thanks goes to the meticulous team When they did the final walkthrough, they caught many small touch ups, that I surely would have missed. I used Remodel Magic for my large kitchen remodel project in the Summer of  2018. The project took 3 months from signing a contract, ordering finish materials, securing permits, and building approval until completion. RM price is the lowest, they keep to their timeline and their professionalism is undeniable. Many times contractors will lose interest or start another job and leave you hanging, not RM. Even towards the last stages of the project i felt attended to. They remained on schedule and finished on time. They maintained good contact and updates throughout the project. The main project managers Alex and Robert were exceptionally responsive by text and always listening to my thoughts. Our kitchen remodel was the second renovation done for us by Remodel magic and once again it was done wonderfully. About a year and a half ago they did a remodel of the master bath. Because of the work done there we chose them once again for our kitchen. Pleasant and on time, the workers showed up each day ready to work. They renovated my apartment a few years ago as well as my parents home, trustworthy contractor! Price was in the middle, clean, good communication, good workmanship, finished within the estimated time frame and they are the only contractor I know who will utilized smartphone as an important communication tool which make my life so much easier. He remodeled both bathrooms (to make them look very modern), kitchen as well as worked on minor details around the whole apartment, including wall painting, etc. He was very professional and attentive to our needs. Wow, these guys are awesome. The deck that they build for us is amazing. It looks more like a piece of art work, great work ethic. I hired them to do a much smaller job and as they worked I kept adding to the deck because I have never found contractors like them. I hope to build a new barn with them soon!! read more
