I always find the best carpet selection at Remnant City, and the people are so nice! Usually I get carpet cut to size with binding on the edges, which has always been well done, but most recently I had wall to wall installed in two bedrooms. The installers worked with the salespeople and did an excellent job. I've recommended Remnant City to a number of friends, and they too have been very satisfied. read more

Just wanted to say what a wonderful experience I had at this fine establishment. The sales people could not have been nicer and more helpful. The carpet is purchased turned out to be even nicer than I expected. I want to personally recommend Luis and his partner who professionally installed the carpet. Fabulous job...I highly recommend them to have your carpet installed. Just a great experience all around. Sincerely, Beth Allen read more

The women at Remnant City were great to work with - I was having a hard time deciding on what I wanted and they guided me through all the choices and different types of carpet that would be best for my bedrooms and hall/stairs. They were impressive on how quickly they figured out all the sizes / options I needed based on the measurements of my rooms, etc. Also, Brining and Smith Flooring did a great job installing the carpet. Mark and Jimmy were so friendly, professional, told me exactly what they needed me to do to prep the rooms and told me how long they would take each day. Also they cleaned up after their work (this isn't always a guarantee in my past experience with other companies). I would highly recommend them for carpet installation and Remnant City as a more economical option vs regular carpet stores/Home Depot/Lowes,etc. read more

We had luxury vinyl flooring/baseboards installed Mid Oct. Kitchen, dining rm & living rm. What a fantastic decision that was. Installer Tim Berry & associate (no subs) were so thorough, neat & worked like a well-organized dance. Loved to watch--had my own HGTV show only better. Job completed in three days and never did I feel in the way. Even with my basset, Gracie. Every day I come downstairs and am amazed and love how beautiful it looks, especially with the Christmas decorations. Have purchased from them before and will continue to do so. They are the best! read more

Needed custom carpets for my cats and the window sill. 48" x 9" is a weird size. But it was no problem for Remnant City. Nicely binded too. read more

Remnant City - Custom cat carpets! - Carpeting Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I put a deposit on flooring but in the meantime my mom and husband got covid so I had to cancel. I gave them advanced notice twice. They said their policy is to charge $75 for the cancellation. I was NEVER told about this policy. Then they told ME that I had to come pick up my flooring because they didn't have enough room to store it. I told them I'm never doing business with unscrupulous people like them. The male on the phone was nasty and acted like they were doing me a favor! My money is just as green as everyone's and spends anywhere! I thank God my brother is an attorney because I'm suing them for my $75 and WILL bring my family out for an organized protest against them! read more

I was looking for a small piece of carpet to use as a patch. I called around to all the local carpet stores and realized everyone only sells it in 12ft sections! So I was very happy when Remnant City told me they would cut me the size I needed and sell me it. They just neglected to tell me that they still intended to have me pay for the entire 12ft section and give the small piece I need until I had already drove 30 minutes to the store. Then they proceeded to tell me that I must have misunderstood after I was on the phone with different carpet retailers for 30 minutes and clearly stated that I was only looking to buy a small section. read more

Traveled out to rt 51...which I hate to do but glad I did. We were in and out in 20 min. Got a great shaw stain master remnant for our dining room with high quality padding and installation for almost half the cost of the current carpet. Service was friendly not pushy. I will go here again. read more

Got carpet and installation for our attic for HALF the price quoted by Home Depot. I wish I could remember the name of the saleswoman. She was affable, no-nonsense and helped us figure out what we needed in just a few minutes. When the installers came, they were courteous and tidy. Totally great, quick, easy experience! read more

My husband and I just picked out our carpeting and couldn't be happier with the service we received. LeeAnna and Rich were both super helpful and very knowledgable on their products. Would recommend to anyone. read more

I have bought carpet there for a long time. My son carpeted 2 of his rooms and my daughter carpeted a bedroom. We all had Rusty as an installer and he does excellent work. I have never found flaws in the carpet from Remnant City, but I went with someone else once and what a mistake. There are pulled threads and all kinds of flaws in the carpet. Prices are very reasonable. Wish I had remembered they had rolls of vinyl floor covering before I bought an inferior product elsewhere. read more

Bait and switch! Paid for quality remnant and salesman and manager at Wexford location cut cheap low traffic carpet from a roll on the floor and delivered and had that installed.Look when your in the store quality remnants along the wall and big rolls of cheap shaw the same color and texture on the floor.Be careful or shop somewhere else.Manager said right out to bad for me I should have not assumed I was getting the remnant on the wall they are just for the sales floor. read more

I needed a large area rug for my bedroom and everywhere I looked they were so expensive and didn't have the dimensions that I was looking for. I went to remnant city and they had a huge selection of carpet remnants. I chose one that I liked and they cut it to my exact dimensions and bound the edges. 2 days later I was able to pick it up and had the perfect rug at half the cost of what the area rugs I looked at elsewhere. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Their inventory changes frequently so I am planning to go back soon to look at their area rug selection for another room in my house read more

Lisa was amazing to work with. She actually drove to my home to measure the rooms for the carpeting. I could not have had a better experience! Prices were very reasonable and she was very willing to work within my budget. Not once did you try to sell me anything. She waited for me to ask questions and they she answered they honestly. I also really appreciated that she gave me the price for everything individually - the carpet, padding, installation cost. I liked seeing it priced out. I highly recommend Remnant City.
