We changed our venue and date 3 times and she stayed lock step with us, reconfiguring the design as the table formations were altered and the dining room tables were brought from inside to outside. She was honest with us with the cost and labor when we were toying around with hanging greenery on the tent rafters and we ultimately decided to put the budget elsewhere. Her and her team were total pros, super easy to work with, highly responsive, and have creative designs that will be noticed. She had planned to give the flowers to a floral designer friend to repurpose the flowers. Malleret doesn't allow attachments on their review page, therefore, I shall quote Malleret's response to the bride's inquiry as to what happened to her flowers. "I'm so sorry you were misinformed about where the flowers went. At the end of the evening all flowers were actually given to the guests. You can ask Art as he saw when I personally gave the flowers to your floral designer friend and other guests. The only thing we took back with us at the end of the night were the vases and the blue palm leaves. As a company we love and actually prefer when the guests take the flowers, since as you said they were paid for, and we love the guests to have that as a memory of the even. Again, I'm very sorry for any confusion there was around this topic. Marcela." My daughter-in-law then received this response from Marcela: "I personally gave your friend one and then she took the other two. My team offered her more; she said that was enough. All bridesmaids arrangements were given to your guests and the rest of the other ones (I can't tell you names, that is not for me to ask). The large ones which were the ones that had the blue palms in them, were offered to guests and your friend but were not taken. All of the vases are rentals and come back to us. The venue also requires all vendors to clean the night of the event, which is why there were no flowers left when you returned to the venue on Sunday. Marcela" The bride paid for the flowers and only she had the right to direct the flowers to individuals, even at the reception. My point is that the Bride should have been consulted on which flowers she wanted to keep. For this omission, I give a -20 review.

A few months into our contract she tried charging us a 'consultation' fee which was never spoken of in our original contract.... then 3 months before our wedding she emailed us basically saying that market prices were rapidly changing so she was INCREASING the price of our signed contract, all because we were editing some flowers. When I went in to do a stem count on what she had sent us, I kid you not it was 75 stems for $4k... Things were not adding up and we were very concerned. While we should've followed our gut and seen the MULTIPLE red flags, we chose to see the good and follow through with the contract... which was the worst decision. The day of the wedding we showed up to a shocking amount of flowers. She failed to pay close attention to close detail, we had asked for 36" tall floor installments, she made them maybe 17" tall with a few flowers just flanking out which we had paid ALOT of money for. The most frustrating thing about this is that we had sent her multiple images of the EXACT thing we wanted, NOTHING symbolized our pinterest board. The bridesmaids bouquets were not at all what we had talked about, the bride bouquet she admitted she had to change last minute because it was too heavy for her original plan (which she didn't let us know prior so it was a surprise that morning). We spare all future brides the headache and stress, research your vendors throroughly before signing any contract.
