Long story short our wedding was supposed to be during COVID Shutdown, at that point we had already paid Claudia $1500. We had to cancel our wedding, with hopes of rescheduling having Claudia transfer the funds for whenever our wedding did happen. We wound up doing something small, and since we felt bad for Claudia and her small business we decided to ask Claudia to just setup all the flowers for our little backyard wedding as to not have to ask for our money back. She ghosted us, never responded to phone calls, texts or emails. We had our wedding without the flowers and now we're out $1500. After disputing with our bank, Claudia submitted our contract stating that we agreed to her no refund policy. That was that. She stole our money and took advantage of us because she knew she can walk away with the money. Very sleazy. I strongly recommend finding someone more moral and honest than Claudia. Shame on her for making our situation much worse than it already has been due to the circumstances.

I ordered flowers here for my mom, and chose a pretty sizable arrangement (around $200). The arrangement was beautiful, but unfortunately didn't last longer than 2 days, which is unacceptable. I called to let them know expecting them to provide some sort of recourse, and after nicely explaining the situation to them, they ultimately would only offer 10% off my next order. They claimed their flowers are premium and extremely delicate, which is why they don't last as long. I don't necessarily think that's true, since my mom took a picture of the arrangement right after it was delivered (she texted me to tell me thank you), and you could already tell one of the flowers was on its last legs. Either way though, you can't be in the business of selling expensive flower arrangements that don't last beyond a couple days. I never write reviews but want others to be forewarned. They may do a wonderful job with weddings, but I wouldn't order an arrangement from them again.

A few months into our contract she tried charging us a 'consultation' fee which was never spoken of in our original contract.... then 3 months before our wedding she emailed us basically saying that market prices were rapidly changing so she was INCREASING the price of our signed contract, all because we were editing some flowers. When I went in to do a stem count on what she had sent us, I kid you not it was 75 stems for $4k... Things were not adding up and we were very concerned. While we should've followed our gut and seen the MULTIPLE red flags, we chose to see the good and follow through with the contract... which was the worst decision. The day of the wedding we showed up to a shocking amount of flowers. She failed to pay close attention to close detail, we had asked for 36" tall floor installments, she made them maybe 17" tall with a few flowers just flanking out which we had paid ALOT of money for. The most frustrating thing about this is that we had sent her multiple images of the EXACT thing we wanted, NOTHING symbolized our pinterest board. The bridesmaids bouquets were not at all what we had talked about, the bride bouquet she admitted she had to change last minute because it was too heavy for her original plan (which she didn't let us know prior so it was a surprise that morning). We spare all future brides the headache and stress, research your vendors throroughly before signing any contract.

We approached the decor with the vibes of "a garden, but make it fall with a dash of whimsy and fantasy". Jen at Native Bloom was very quick to pick up on these vibes and delivered a quote with inspiration pictures that matched what we were looking for. Throughout the entire process, Jen was very easy to work with. We had a reasonable budget for the flowers and when there were aspects of her design that fell out of our price range, she quickly worked with us to find more cost-effective alternatives. We also collected a lot of vintage glassware for the table settings and were keen on having some of them used in the floral design. Jen was kind enough to meet us halfway between her shop and our home to pick up the vessels and incorporated them beautifully into the tablescapes. She provided fun suggestions to the floral design, including adding darker red tones to our dusty pink and sage green wedding colors and finding the perfect, fluffiest, most mystical moss to add to the tables. Jen helped to make our wedding day look and feel beautiful and we are so happy with the work she did! Photos by Abby Carissimo.

I was wary that they wouldn't do enough color with our palette since their social media has a lot of white/pastel/rosy hued florals, but they really knocked it out of the park with our color palette! We had various hues of purple as our primary color, with gold, warm yellows and burnt oranges as our secondary colors. While we did ask for more yellow/orange to be featured in our blooms since the rest of our decor focused on purple/gold, I thought there would be a little more varied purples in our arrangements. Was also hoping for a looser/more flowy bouquet, but what they created was still beautiful (design inspiration may have gotten lost in employee turnover since we'd been planning for 2+ years during the pandemic and they had some changes during that time.) Again, everything was still gorgeous and I loved the variety of color, textures and types of flowers used. It was fun, vibrant and unique. We added a tall install on our head table towards the end of the planning process and I'm glad we did because it made such a beautiful statement! I also liked the variety of vases they had available to use.
