It was AMAZING. So much so, in fact, that I asked her 10 minutes in if she had time for an hour long massage. She unfortunately didn't, but I went back a few days later for another massage. In just an hour and a half Kerilee managed to greatly reduce my hip pain, and I will definitely continue receiving massages from her. In addition to being an amazing sports massage therapist, Kerilee is super friendly, and the massage studio is clean and peaceful. I highly recommend Beverly Massage Therapy- it's well worth every penny! I've had many massage therapists in the past, and Kerilee is definitely one of the best!

She applies just the right amount of pressure that is deep, but not too painful which is great because I don't like very soft massages. The studio is very cute and welcoming. The massage room itself is big so you don't feel closed in. The table is very comfortable and there are lots of pillows if you need extra support. I went to her because I have two friends who won't see anyone else, I was in some pain with a spasm, and I just could not risk another second rate back rub from a "fast food" massage joint. Well, I found out that all massages are NOT created equal. Debra-Jean took the time to really asses my situation, she asked questions, she looked at my posture and then she started the treatment. From the first couple of questions I just knew that she had education, experience, and a real love for what she does. Just that alone is enough to get me to relax and be able to really trust the process of letting my spasm wracked back release itself. I could really feel the targeted treatment working. Debra-Jean also was very thorough in instructing me on what to do to take care of the area and avoid letting it happen again. I have a long commute and I'm always in danger of having my back and shoulders act up on me. You can't just let some teenager out of massage school work on an injury or when you are in pain--that might even make it worse.
