As a super-sized person currently needing to use a cane due to an injury, it's been challenging to find a massage therapist who knows how to work with my body and also has the right kind of table and space. I've tried a number of therapists over the years, and I am SO happy to have found Sarah! She came across as very comfortable working with a very large person and has a nice big adjustable table that felt very sturdy and safe. She made it easy to ask questions, let her know what was working for me, what adjustments I needed, etc... The building has an elevator with parking right outside the entrance, a bathroom nearby all very convenient. Her space is immaculate, quiet, and felt very private. She's understandably in demand so you have to book ahead but she's spoiled me for any other massage therapist. I could not recommend her more highly! read more

I was born with some back & hip issues and over the years have developed serious lower SI joint and mid back problems. Thousands of dollars were spent on recurring body work and PT and although it might go away for a few days or many even weeks, I still have the same issues pop up again. I am not a person whom would normally opt for a massage. That being said, I would definitely come back to for a massage by Sarah. Not knowing what to expect, I opted for a relaxing massage. It was unlike any experience I had partaken in before, the environment is calming, relaxing, just... tranquil. But with my history of back pain, I think I would opt for a more therapeutic massage the next time I visit. Having no previous experience with massages, I found how Sarah approaches clients as warm, reassuring and arguably very thorough (which I had not expected). I am not aware if all massage places will ask about your history (medical and other issues you may have), but I found it quite professional. This review is long overdue! I am so happy I found Sarah! She is sweet, smart, very personable and most importantly amazing with her hands!!! My back needs monthly tune ups due to knots, strains and general work / exercise abuse and she always fixes me up! My best friend just started seeing Sarah as well. She loves her and what she does for her super tight, overworked muscles! Sarah's schedule and booking are super convenient and flexible. I generally book online, or text her and she is very fast to respond. Treatment room is meticulous and very comfortable, table is warm and sheets are cozy. The massage itself is amazing! Sarah asks what would I like to focus on before each massage and leaves no troublesome spot behind. She even massages every single muscle in my hands - and since I over use them for work, they get pretty beat up! I have gotten many treatments in my life, but nobody was so thorough with my achy hands! I am debating getting the 1.5 hour sessions from now on, since I really enjoy her reflexology as well! Short version for those without kids: best massage I've ever had. For new parents: Holy. Crap. I had injured my upper back doing, you know, "taking care of a baby" stuff, and after two days of brutal pain, I decided I had to do something and the weekend was two days away. But how could I get a massage during the week when I'm taking care of a 3-month old full time? I was in a lot of pain and desperate. I emailed Sarah to see if she had any ideas. She was beyond supportive and enthusiastic about helping to fix my back. She suggested just bringing the baby with me to an appointment and we could figure something out if the baby wouldn't sleep! Sure enough, the baby was not sleepy when we got there. But instead of shooing me away, Sarah helped me get the baby to sleep -- lowering the lights, speaking in whispers, and giggling with me while I swung him in the car seat. Thinking I had him down, I got on the table, only to hear the telltale "waking baby" sounds. Sarah gleefully helped push the car seat over to me so I could rock him in it while I was on the table and she even helped him to finally fall asleep by plopping his pacifier back in his mouth WHILE giving me a massage!! I could not believe it -- and it worked. The baby slept through the rest of the massage and Sarah even went 10 minutes over the hour to help me get some more time on the table. My back was 100% improved instantly, and that night I could sleep in any position (whereas previously, yeah, none.) Sarah is a true "baby sympathizer" and I was beyond grateful to her.
