I was there on Sunday for a facial with Kathy, who I must say is great! She was outgoing as well as a pleasure to speak to while she did my facial. She was thorough in explaining what she would be doing and very attentive. In addition, the young ladies at the front desk made check in easy and greeted anyone who walked in there with professionalism and a smile. Theresa Reynolds read more

I can't recommend Marina enough. Her technique is thoughtful and completely tailored, never a one-size-fits-all massage. I saw her both pre- and post-pregnancy, and the care and relief in both stages were unmatched. After getting massages for over 18 years, I finally found my spot with Marina on Staten Island. I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Highly recommend! read more

I called in the afternoon and they were able to schedule me same day. I got a prenatal massage from Belinda and it was absolutely wonderful. I feel so much better, so much tension released and so relaxed, I practically fell asleep. Excited to go back. Try out a massage with Belinda, you won't regret it! read more

So disappointed.... It's been a while since I've been to this establishment for a massage. The last time I went I absolutely loved my services. Yesterday not so much. When I arrived I was greeted by Shelly at the front desk who was extremely helpful, sweet, and made me feel excited to get my treatment. Prior to my appointment I called because I was running late at work. They were considerate and moved my appointment later, when I arrived earlier than I thought, they moved my appointment earlier. I had a long day at work and just wanted to relax. I took advantage of the 'spa week special' because like I said I haven't been there in a while and wanted to see if the massage was just as good as last time I went. Arcadia was my masseuse. She was very polite when greeting me. She asked me what areas I would like her to focus on. I told her my upper back because I have a desk job. While giving me the massage, she asked about the pressure I asked her can you go harder it's very light pressure. She said okay however received same pressure which felt like a rub down. Why ask if you aren't going to change the pressure? When my massage was completed, Shelly at front desk asked how was my massage? I said it was just okay. She said that isn't okay and she will get a manager so I can explain. Shelly's customer service was exactly what you want to receive in an establishment. The manager not so much. When I told the manager look I don't want anyone to get in trouble and said what happened her explanation was well it's spa week. I said spa week shouldn't have anything to do with a lighter massage. I've been here before not a first time customer. I have come during spa week and when it was not spa week. Then she went on to say the masseuse is known to have light pressure. Then why give me that masseuse when on my intake form I put medium to deep pressure? The feedback from the manager was non satisfactory & very inconsiderate of their customer needs. Needles to say best customer service I received was from Shelly at the front desk from my massage experience at Remedi Spa. read more

I received a gift card and was excited to use it. Since I haven't been at RS in a few months the last massage therapist Lauri was decent and I wanted to go back to her. Unfortunately, she wasn't working and the receptionist made me an appt with a Lynn. I made sure Lynn was was good and recommended of course they assured me she was. Well, I arrived early and was seated in the relaxation room. There was staff ruffling about putting away inventory and making a lot of noise. My appt was for 12:30. I arrive around 12:10 and sat at 12:15 Giving ample time so I wasn't rushing. This woman stuck her head in a few times. She looked mildly disheveled and I thought she was the lady that comes around and cleans up. On the last time she stuck her head in and she announced herself as Lynn and said that I was super early and if I just wanted to sit around or start now.. I kind of was taken back. Most people are happy when someone is on time or early. I said whatever feels comfortable for her. Tbh I just wanted a pleasant experience. I noticed on this visit that the spa isn't well kept. The walls are all damaged. Nothing smelled nice in the interior of the spa. There was robes thrown around in the bathroom/ changing area. We arrived at the room and she seemed to be really upset I came early. Anyway, she seem to give a fluff massage. I asked her to not give a deep tissue more of a medium pressure. I thought she understood but I guess not. She kept dropping things during the dreadful hour. and I walked out of there smelling like smoke instead of lavender. I even said while checking out that I was unhappy. They made a comment back that they seem to go thru a lot of girls If you don't know who you are going to don't take a chance on wasting your money!! read more

I had the best massage by Belinda. I have already booked for next month. So acomodating on the phone or at the spa. read more

Only Spa I go to and love on Staten Island. I've been to Remedi a handful of times with different services (aromatherapy, swedish, spa pedi, hot stone). Each time was wonderful. Love the fact they provide towels, robes and slippers. There is lockers to store your personal items. If you need to freshen up they also have some toiletries as well. The facilities are very clean. Make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes early to check-in and change so you can sit in in the relaxation room. Which has nice refreshing lemon water, tea, coffee, and cookies in a covered tray. The front desk is warm and welcoming. All the masseuse I had were amazing. My experience is always a pleasant one. Very professional, asking me questions on certain concerns I may have. Looking forward to my next appointment. Taking advantage of spa week. read more

I've been to a lot of spas & Remedi is by far the best. I've also had many facials but none nearly as good as with Nicole from Remedi!! Not only is she amazing at what she does, she is so kind. My facial days are my favorite days & my skin is left looking so good every time (my personal fav is the dermaplaning facial) Highly recommend! read more

Beautiful spa. My daughter and myself both had massages by Colleen. Excellent experience!! Highly recommend Remedi and Colleen

Myself and two friends arrived at the spa on time only to find we couldn't get the massages we ordered The spa said only two of us could get the rock massages we ordered and the third had to get a Swedish massage and they would try to incorporate the rocks into the massage I was very disappointed We came all the way from Brooklyn because we heard good things about this place The place offered us nothing in return for making a mistake It seems they have their regulars and were really not interested if we returned or not The massage as ok but did not feel welcome enough for a return trip Disappointed read more

Worst gel manicure I ever received in my life. This is the first time I have ever gotten a gel manicure from here. I have been getting the spa pedicures with Blanca and they have been great. Blanca was out and they put me with someone else so I figured I'd give it a try. The pedicure was horrendous the "hot stone spa" pedicure massage was no more than 3 minutes tops. She barely took off the old gel that was on my nails and barely painted the whole nail (pictures for reference) I told the girl at the desk and she was very apologetic and said and I quote "by the end of the week you will have a refund to your card" as well as "oh that nail tech doesn't usually do gel" the Other girl at the desk was very unprofessional who said as she was sitting in a chair (for the guests) "don't like not come back here anymore you'll get your money back" I had to call back 2 times To follow up still no refund. A manager calls me back a week later and says "we don't do refunds for things like that " offers me a "redo" and I WILL NEVER go back there again. The most unprofessional and worst experience in a salon I have ever had not to mention the gel was already lifting and peeling not even a week later!!!! read more

Finally had an opportunity to return and enjoyed my mini facial with Nicole and CBD massage with Belinda-- she expressed that she's a reflexologist and I appreciated her applying those techniques to my body. It's exactly what I needed and I feel like a million bucks. The front desk staff is very professional as well. Thanks for a great afternoon! read more

Susan is very warm, professional, talented and client centric. Received exceptional service and will be looking forward to my next visit with her. Thanks for following up and checking on my experience. read more

Your staff is the friendliest. The atmosphere is very relaxing and Antonette is very skillful.

The service was exceptional. The ambiance was very comforting and Felicia was very knowledgeable, patient and made the massage enjoyable.

I saw Kathy for a facial and she was amazing! She was sweet and knowledgeable and took the time to talk to me about a good skin care routine to follow for my skin.I will definitely rebook with her again and try other services at Remedi Spa! Great experience! read more

I love Remedi Spa. It's very clean and I have never had any issues over the years. Susan did my bikini wax yesterday and she was great!!!

The amenities and services at Remedi are great! All the technicians are professional and polite.

My go to for massage. I always ask for the same massage therapist, Lia, and she is great! I try for monthly appointments when possible. I am never disappointed. And I love being able to book on their app. ETA: After another great massage today and a lovely response from Dawn below, I had to come back and write more. The front desk staff always greets me warmly, and they are fast and efficient with check-in and check-out. Lia, not only is a highly skilled massage therapist, but she is genuinely kind and sincere. She always makes sure that I'm comfortable, seeks out the trouble spots, and goes the extra mile to guarantee I have a wonderful experience every time. After I spent ten years in Manhattan with the same massage therapist, it was difficult to find a new person in Staten Island. I went through four before finding Lia and Remedi Spa, but I am so happy I did! Thank you again for your service! :) read more

Best facial! Victoria was wonderful. It was my first visit to Remedi. The atmosphere is very relaxing & the staff is very nice.

Great place! Had both a 90 minute therapeutic massage and a 60 minute reflexology with Belinda. She was phenomenal. I cannot recommend this place enough. read more

I had THE most spectacular deep tissue massage with Val. She is the most talented masseuse I have ever had, and I am pretty religious about getting my massages every 4-5 weeks. She takes the deepest care in each and every step making for the most transcending self care experience. I HIGHLY recommend Val & Remedi spa they are the best Spa in NYC hands down. ‍ read more

I had a one hour therapeutic massage with Belinda yesterday. I arrived with severe muscle pains in my neck and back. This woman really knows her stuff! She worked-out every knot in my body. I left the spa feeling like a new person. The spa itself is wonderful. It's clean and relaxing. All the staff, including reception staff, are so attentive and nice. read more

I've been to many massages places, because my body stores stress in my legs and upper back (and I have scoliosis) and this place I keep coming back to. The spa environment is beautiful and relaxing but their staff is what keeps me coming back. The latest service I had was deep tissue massage, with Rich, who is amazing and just knows exactly which muscles need work, would HIGHLY recommend him. He was the perfect combo of deep tissue work but also smooth and relaxing massage (hard to find this combo, I've looked). I also used Lynn for massage, she was great but much more rough...but hey, some people like that lol. I also get spa pedicures there(with Jasmin-amazing) and facials (with Jaclyn- amazing). Tip: if you're getting a massage for deep tissue work to release muscle tension/stress, a 90min is needed to get all the muscles, for some reason they don't share that. But if you need to just relax, 45-60min is plenty :-) read more

I high recommend Remedi Spa if you're looking for a relaxing atmosphere and an incredible massage. I have been coming here for a while now for hot stone massages and therapeutic massages and have never been disappointed. The relaxation room is exactly that, incredibly relaxing. In regards to the massages every therapist I have had has been amazing in massaging the tightness, knots and easing the pain from issues I have with my neck, shoulders and back. Thank You Remedi!!! read more

Currently sitting in the pedicure chair here. The water was cold and my pedicurist didn't ask how the temperature was once. She was so rough and didn't go any gentler when I flinched a number of times. My "massage" was her rubbing the cream up and down my legs not a massage just movement. I've had what I think is a wax treatment on my feet now for 17 minuets. She put It on and just left. Pretty sure I didn't plan on paying $50 for someone to moisturize my legs and waste 17 minuets of my pedicure so she can probably go check her phone. I understand a 10 minuet wax treatment but 17 minuets, really? I'll never be back here for any other services again unless they're booked with Susan. read more

I had a facial with Kathy and she was amazing! She was so sweet, so knowledgeable and it was a wonderful experience. Remedi spa has been my favorite spa on Staten Island for many years. I have been getting facials there for well over ten years and always have a great experience. Yesterday I was with Kathy for the first time and I will be requesting her time and time again. not only was she sweet, thorough, and did an amazing facial, she also shared her knowledge of skin care and took the time to examine my skin and tell me exactly what would work best for me . my face has never felt better. go make your appointment with Kathy you won't regret it! read more

I called remedi about 6 weeks ago to plan a girls night bachelorette for our friend who's getting married this summer after much back and fourth thanks to Covid. I was so blown away with how accommodating this spa was! They brought in extra therapists to accommodate our larger party. They let us bring in some champagne and pickings to have while we got massages in shifts and every staff member was just a joy. The place is immaculate and super relaxing. We will be forever appreciative to the staff here at remedi for making our evening sooo wonderful!!!!!! I will never go to another spa again on Staten Island.. they are THE BEST!!! read more

Dear Dawn, The fact the salon has not done so much as to offer a complimentary treatment to me for this mishap is unprofessional. I was not seeking a financial compensation. I was told by receptionist Sheryl that I would receive a call from the manager to see what could be done for me. Also... I do understand that your cucumber water in the pitcher is not permitted as per Covid guidelines. However, your spa should offer bottled water in the relaxation room for individual consumption. I did wait for a manager to contact me and she did... to offer another appointment, yet not to offer me reperations for my wasted time and no massage. read more

I've been coming to Remedi for years and have had many great Swedish massages, but today I truly wasted $100 and one hour of my time. The spa is clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the amenities are nice, but today I learned never to let the spa choose your masseuse for you. Lia was personable and sweet, but when I said that my upper back was especially sore, I expected her to spend more than 5-10 minutes massaging my back. She also got a significant amount of lotion in my hair, which I now have to wash again today. I had been looking forward to this massage for weeks because I'd been feeling increasingly tight in my back and shoulders, but as I left today I felt less relaxed and more angry than when I went in. I'm extremely disappointed and annoyed and will likely take some time trying out other spas. read more

Dawn, My name is Jillian not Jessica. I have showed a photo of my eyebrows in my original review and this is with the vaseline use 3x a day miniscule amount, no hot water and dove baby wash only. I am sad to hear that you stand behind this kind of work. They have already put me in contact with her and all she did was accuse, reprimand and condescend me (I sent on the texts but of course this was fully ignored by your staff). The fact that my eyebrows are now fully scabbed and I have to pay for laser removal at another salon is inexcusable. The way I was spoken to by Elsa is absolutely inexcusable too. It is sad to see that NOTHING was done in regards to this, just lies and accusations. Again I am very sorry to hear that you stand behind the kind of work that was done by her and I am sorry to see that customers do not come first at your spa. If you look into my google review history I ONLY post 5 star reviews and never negative reviews so it speaks absolute volumes that I am finally speaking up about something that is NOT OK and there is absolutely no excuse at all and I am sick of getting accused by your company and the people you choose to hire. read more

Remedi Spa - NY - Day Spas Near Me - Staten Island, New York

I have been coming here for years since they opened I believe. I only go for massages so I cannot comment on any other services. Depending on the masseuse the massages are excellent. The place is very pretty and very clean from what I can see when I am in the locker rooms or the massage room. There isn't much competition in the area for them but I definitely think they do a great job at what they do and the place is definitely worth using if you need a massage. read more

I can upon Remedi as I was searching for a place that is certified in prenatal massages, as I am 30 weeks pregnant and desperately needed to relax. I had a great experience and amazing massage. Jen was great and super sweet. The amount of pressure she used was perfect; I'm usually a bit sore after a massage, but my body felt perfectly relaxed and refreshed and I was actually able to sleep without feeling achy the next day! Definitely planning another one before my due date! read more
