I want to write an honest review about my visit to Skin Envy Medical Spa. Let me start by saying…read morethat I live in South Jersey, and it's almost a two-hour drive--but I have to tell you, it is absolutely worth it! Yesterday, I had my lips done, and to be completely honest, I have a very difficult case. Not only do I have noticeable natural asymmetry in my lips, but I'm also extremely sensitive. On top of that, I had fibrosis from a previous, not-so-great experience with another "doctor." I've been to many places, and some injectors didn't even want to take me as a client. I finally decided to see Hanna (a PA and an experienced injector) after seeing her work on Instagram. Pros: 1.Zero waiting time! For me, this is very important--they really value my time. 2.Hanna and all the staff were very kind, especially considering how nervous I was. 3. Place itself beautiful and clean. 4. Hanna explained everything in great detail, step by step, taking into account my asymmetry and my fears. 5. All of the fillers were opened in front of me. 6. There is a medical provider on-site (a doctor in the office). 6.The RESULT! I can't explain how happy I feel. I feel confident again! My lips are so cute, proportional to my face, and most importantly--not overdone! No "duck lips"--just jucie, luscious lips! Even my hubby loves it( girls will understand) Cons: Only one--why didn't I do this earlier?! Overall: if I could give 10 starts, I would! I'm so happy that I find "mine" place! Highly, highly recommend

And they told me in a very nasty manner, I'd be charged DOUBLE the initial price!! On top of everything the lady slammed down a plastic board with "THE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TIPS" and argued that I didn't give enough after ALL of the rudeness & INCONSISTENT PRICES ...THEN THEY INSISTED FOR A BETTER TIP LMAOOO!!! As a soon to be bride, I signed up for Xerf from an IG ad about 2.5 weeks ago. 2k$ for two sessions…read moreas part of a presale. As my wedding is getting super close, I reached out to see the status- with tariffs and shipping from China- the Xerf process was held up. I was generously offered a facial including neck; plus Thermage (value 4k) to make up for the inconvenience. I was very impressed with the empathy shown by Samantha who is handling all these delayed Xerf appointments. My facial with Fran was amazing- she was very easy to talk to ; very kind and informative about my skin. Marci performed my thermage and she was extremely knowledgable and thorough . 5 stars for the services and the compassion of Samantha to be resolution oriented when my timeline was getting compromised. Loss of one star only for the lack of clarity that the Thermage procedure is soooo expensive that it replaced the two xerf sessions that I purchased. The staff informed me over the phone when I called to be able to tip through venmo that the services rendered were practically triple the original product price so no more services are honored and the transaction is considered complete . As a first time client, grace needs to be accounted for on both sides. My first interaction with this place was through IG messages, then texts, then the service then my follow up to clarify what's still available to me which is nothing since Skin Solutions considers my obligation fulfilled. I think this is a business that is doing their best and they genuinely try to have the clients needs at heart. I will also note that my fear was melasma for the extreme heat from Thermage and I am happy to report it was not activated in any way so I consider the treatment a success.

So I was shocked and disappointed to arrive for my scheduled Bellafill appointment only to be informed at the time of treatment that they no longer offer it. At that point, I should have walked out. But I allowed myself to be talked into an alternative: a combination of Sculptra and Radiesse. I spent $3000 on a treatment plan I hadn't planned for--and now, three months later, the results are negligible. Even the specific area I asked to be addressed shows little to no improvement. I've had great experiences here in the past, which makes this all the more frustrating. I wonder if their recent expansion has affected the quality of care and communication. I find it very hard to believe the negative reviews. I've been a loyal client of Dr. Amina for a…read morelong time, and she's always been incredibly professional. She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly--even though English isn't her first language, she makes sure you understand the process as best as possible. I've gotten both Botox and fillers here (and have tried Botox at other med spas before). Personally, I don't find Botox very helpful in achieving the look I want, so I stopped getting it--it just felt like a waste of money for me. But Juvederm fillers? That's a whole different story. I get them every year, and honestly, it's more like maintenance than anything else, because the results last so well. For example, my lips stay plump for a year or more--I've never noticed the filler wearing off or disappearing. Dr. Amina is amazing at shaping and making sure you're informed and comfortable every step of the way. Plus, she offers a free touch-up 14 days after your initial appointment, which is a great bonus. 10/10 if you ask me!
