I was referred to Rebecca at Relyant Solar by a good friend of mine. It was nice to have someone that I felt was looking out for my interests and give me some direction. Rebecca reviewed my solar needs, recommended a system for me, and recommended Aloha Solar for the installation, and it went great. Rebecca was truly a pleasure to work with. For years I've avoided all the solar reps that have knocked on my door because I just assumed it was a scheme and non of the companies were trustworthy. I met Rebecca through a networking group and we begin talking about solar just out of curiosity. She was incredibly knowledgeable and taught me a lot of things about the process. With her help, we decided solar was going to be a big cost savings for me given all the electricity I use at my home. She was extremely patient with me as I weighed all my options and even finished a few house projects (roof and garage) before beginning the install. At the end of the day, everything went great and now I'm a happy solar customer that's already reaping the cost savings benefits. Thanks Rebecca! read more

Going solar was the best decision I made this year. Choosing Relyant Solar was the second best decision. Great communication and professionalism from beginning to end. I worked with Rebecca on the initial planning, installation and approval phase and it was a very smooth process. She worked with the roofing company and the solar installation company to make sure things kept moving along and she kept me in the loop each step of the way. The level of service and individual attention that Relyant Solar offers is something those large corporations and installers simply cannot offer. I'm thoroughly impressed with Rebecca and her team and I can't recommend this company enough. read more

We installed a new electric HVAC system right when power rates went up. Suddenly, our electric bill tripled! We knew that now was the time to go solar, but we didn't know where to start. Luckily, I know Rebecca! She explained in simple terms what getting a solar installed requires, and gave us really good advice for getting us with the best maker (SunPower) and getting the best deal in advance of changing rules from SDG&E. She drew up a proposal that really made the case for us. We got 24 panels put on our roof, with a battery in the back yard to store power when the sun is down (and rates from the grid are high). Because we leased, we did it with no money down! Now we are pulling down clean energy from the sun that was already here anyway, and depending less on coal-fired electric plants. On sunny days, we generate almost twice as much energy as we use. Our lease is less than half of what we were paying SDG&E, and our electric bill is usually $0. Rebecca really knows this industry, and she tells the truth! She is truly "rElyant" and I would recommend her to anyone to help you navigate the complexities of going solar. It is so satisfying to look at the app on my phone and see that we are powering our own home ourselves. Thank you, Rebecca, for improving our home and our lives! read more

Reylant Solar was great to work with. After adding a pool, we had more power needs than our existing system was providing. Rebecca provided information and analysis over the course of several meetings, always adjusting the plan based on our feedback. She designed a system that would best utilize our limited remaining roof and provide the additional power we need. Our savings should pay for the system in less than 3 years. She also helped us get on a better time of use plan with SDGE to create additional savings. The installation team was great, always keeping me up to date when things were happening and leaving a good looking system in place. Highly recommended. read more

My wife and I first met Rebecca when she was working with our next door neighbor last fall. In talking to Rebecca, she explained that she was a solar broker and would be happy to talk with us at greater length about home solar power systems if we were interested. What set her apart from everyone else that we have encountered in the solar business was that she was friendly, honest, and informative. Not once did she try to sell us on getting solar. No pressure, no hassle. Instead, she took plenty of time to listen to our concerns and needs. Additionally, she fully explained all the pros and cons with what was available. In the end, we decided to purchase a 6kW solar power system. Throughout the entire process (design, approval, and installation), Rebecca has been there for us. She constantly communicated with us what was going on and next steps. And if we ever had a question, she answered up immediately; even on weekends and late evenings. Our system was installed and operational in December 2019. Here we are some eight months later and Rebecca still checks in on us to see how we are doing and if there are any issues, questions or concerns that need to be addressed. We can truly say that Rebecca is awesome in what she does. We are so happy with her and grateful that our paths crossed last fall. If you are considering going solar, give Rebecca a call. You won't be disappointed. read more

Dear Yelpers, So you know this is real, I didn't like the process of learning about solar. There are so many decisions; buying vs leasing, how many panels to get, what brand of panels, what type of financing with a choice of terms and interest rates. It's exhausting but it would be more exhausting without working with Rebecca. She is a wealth of knowledge and is glad to answer your questions. I'm 110% confident that I got the best option for me. Rebecca arranged the install and I didn't lift a finger. Panels were place so the tI couldn't see them from the street (I wasn't sure the installers did anything until I saw my roof from down the block). Solar is a no brainer. The prior year, I spent $3588 on electricity. My new monthly bill is $104. That's right! Over $2500 will stay in my pocket this year! Make things easier on yourself by getting solar through Rebecca. read more

Rebecca was a great resource to have walking through the process of getting solar panels. We are new to California (and California electric rates, ugh) and had a lot to figure out about solar power, especially since we are in a condo with a shared roof. She was extremely helpful throughout the process and in showing some other panel options that make sense for the half of the roof we are able to use. Because there is an HOA involved in our case, there were some extra hoops to jump through. Rebecca was invaluable as the person interfacing with the HOA, the property manager, and Sunpower. That saved me a significant amount of time and trouble. read more

I was introduced to Rebecca after ha big received about 5+ different proposals, but she still managed to beat out all of the bids with outstanding customer service, competitive pricing and her extensive knowledge of the solar market. She has many direct relationships with solar panel manufacturers. Up to that point, my best option for a new roof and solar panels was a roofing contractor that was mostly focused on the roof and was not attentive or knowledgeable about solar. These contractors typically build in solar into their contract but don't really understand the process as it does have many layers from start to finish. After talking to two large (national chains) and several smaller local solar companies, a friend recommended we talk to Rebecca.
