I needed to repair my skylight after noticing moisture on an area of the wood below it. I received…read moreseveral quotes, but Sunline Energy was the only company that recommended fixing the root of the problem rather than just putting a Band-Aid on it. My skylight had been installed incorrectly by another company, which was contributing to the moisture issue. Since skylight repairs can be a relatively small job, I found that not many reputable companies were interested in doing this type of work. I was very happy to find Sunline Energy. Juan handled the skylight and related roof and flashing repairs, and I can't say enough about the quality of his work. He is a perfectionist and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly. He went above and beyond and fixed both the skylight and surrounding roof area beyond my expectations. Based on my experience and the quality of Juan's work, I would highly recommend Sunline Energy to anyone needing skylight or related roof repairs.

I do not recommend this company, I wanted to cancel my agreement because they postponed install…read moredate on more than one ocasion, they wouldn't refund my $1,000 deposit even though they were not complying with the agreement, life got busy and I could not pursue filing in small claims court but after hearing about the experience others had with the company (a nightmare), I realized losing a $1,000 was very little compared to what others experienced, not a reliable company because if they couldn't fulfil the timeline they should have offered to cancel and refund deposit, very disappointing. Adding on after Sunline Energy's response: I did not mention the following yet it is important to do so, in 2024 3 roofing companies told me that the roof was past due on repair, I had mentioned what happened with Sunline Energy in 2023 and was told that your company as well as others install on roofs that are not healthy enough and even with replacement of shingles the plywood was not thick enough to support solar panels, in other words, Sunline never mentioned something that was felt just by walking on the roof, ethics should be as important as obtaining a sale because people work hard to keep there home maintained, honesty is the best policy, I understand that the company must achieve sales but situations as so are very disturbing, Sunline Energy continues to owe us $1,000 due to a deposit for a job that never took place.

After about two years of consideration, we finally decided to invest in a solar system, in part…read morebecause we learned the federal tax credits are going to eventually be stepped down. After getting quotes from five popular companies (both national and local), I got frustrated with the margin that was being charged for the service. I priced-out an equivalent system as if I was going to purchase and install it myself. I then called some solar system suppliers and asked if they could advise on my project or put me in touch with an individual consultant (who I would pay to help design and install the system). I ended up getting put in touch with Erik Sattler of Sattler Solar. He's a German solar consultant who was not only able to source the solar components for *CHEAPER* than what I could have bought them myself (online), he also charged very reasonable rates for doing a full owner-builder assisted install. What this really means is that I got to do a lot of the work, but it was more like I was his assistant and he was the lead. I loved doing it this way because a) I learned so much more about my system than if someone had just installed it all for me and am confident that I could deal with pretty much any future issue that might arise (although everything is warrantied for 20+ years), b) I saved around $15k compared to quotes from the large companies, and c) we got it done in a fast-tracked way that I don't think the larger companies would've been able to do...thereby locking us into NEM 1.0. If you're thinking of going solar and have the time and skills (basic DIY skills will do), I highly recommend this approach because of the tremendous money savings and the ability to get really involved with a system that's going to be with you for decades. I'm sure most people know this, but if you're going to re-roof your home at any point in the near future, it may be cost-effective to do the solar system at the same time. I must say that I am very happy with our system. We've had it for 2.5 years now without a single issue--other than getting a little carried away running the A/C even when we don't really need. to. ;-) Cost wise, the system estimate was 0.041 $/kWh. If anyone finds a better deal than that, please do everyone a favor and post it!! If you want to know more about my experience, my system or Sattler Solar, please message me directly. Thanks and good luck.

The installers, Ilya and Max, worked incredibly hard, were respectful of our home, and thoroughly cleaned everything up when they were finished. The installation took place during an intense heat wave, but they both persevered through the two-day job with a smile and a great attitude. A minor issue with the installation came to light a few days later. We called West Coast Heating and Air, and Christian, the technician, came out that same day. He worked overtime to quickly diagnose and remedy the problem, and we really appreciated his dedication and responsiveness. I highly recommend West Coast Heating and Air. The entire team are superheroes in my book! Being able to feel cool and comfortable again during this summer heat wave is amazing. We couldn't be happier with the experience!

We are extremely grateful that our Sales representative Sam Johnson was there to provide us with great service from the beginning of the project to the end. Crystal Rojas kept us informed of the scheduling, financing and what step the project was in. When installation day came, we could not have had a better crew than Francisco's crew. On the hottest day of the summer his crew installed our solar panels and Powerwall with limited power interruptions. They cleaned up before they left leaving no trace of being there. During our final inspection Eric Rojas prepped the equipment for the final inspection. His attention to detail was instrumental in passing our inspection. Great service for a great price.

Like many others, the service provided by this company is disappointing and far below even the most basic expectations. Ask yourself if it's worth getting a solid system only to have no one respond to emails, maybe get lucky to get a call back, have issues with your system that you were never informed of.. and on and on. My case is still open so I will update this if my concerns get addressed, but as of now, 2 stars is generous. The biggest disappointment? They can't talk to you enough until you pay them. Then you are basically ghosted. For me.. Lots of contact with sales and service until payment then no response. Installation was fine. Then someone came out weeks later and said my system wasn't working so he was fixing it. No one had bothered to tell me. The product is good, the service is honestly terrible once you pay. So I'd look somewhere else if I was shopping solar. I got burned on this one. Don't be as naive as me. Stay away.
