But rather than dismissing it because they hadn't done the original install, he righted it and didn't see it as having any serious problems. He went far above and beyond. Person not only didn't give me heads up, he showed up before the time window and texted me that he's here. I rushed back home in hopes he's waiting for me but he was gone and nowhere to be seen. I tried to call and text him with no avail. Both texts and phone messages say they don't receive them and to call the business directly instead. Finally called the business who couldn't find him and was told he took pics and doesn't need to come back. Spoke to them on what I wanted done and was promised to get an estimate that same evening. It's been almost a week and nothing. No call, no email, no estimate, no nothing. Unprofessional, extremely disappointing.

If you want to get your walls repainted or light fixtures installed, then I would recommend them. Cons: I wouldn't necessarily recommend flooring as we are having issues where the baseboard does not connect to the floor and there are gaps in places. They are suppose to come fix it but communication has been sparse ever since we paid them (back in August) and to me this is disappointing. We also had a huge issue with backsplash and it took several attempts to fix it and I am still not 100% happy with how the backsplash came out but we needed to move-in ASAP and settled for an okay job. Lastly, when going through inspection, I noticed paint was stained on our carpet and brand new counters and it was a pain to remove the paint. Overall, I'm giving 3 stars especially because after several attempts to contact them, they have stopped responding even though they said they would come fix their mistakes with the gaps in the floor. I will update the review if they contact us with an actual date and time to come.

I'll be honest, this is not what I expected at all. I'm a pretty handy person but I've never had a…read morechimney before and just bought a house with one. The secondary air tube is visibly significantly bowed, the firebricks are destroyed or missing, the ceramic baffles aren't even there anymore. I requested a fireplace inspection and chimney cleaning and got told 9am-noon. The inspector showed up at noon, took a picture up the insert with the flash on and told me it was rusty. Didn't go on the roof to inspect the chimney cap or flashing, didn't offer to scope the insert to see if it was deteriorated, didn't even turn the blower on to see if it worked. Then I pull the outside cover of the firebox off myself and find the flue isn't even attached to the firebox. Once I show him and he tells me he can put some high heat duct tape on it instead of mechanically securing it first. I explain that I'm not looking for a temporary fix and he says it will work fine, it's an old stove. At this point I just want to pay him so he can leave so I can google the obvious issues myself. If you can't physically buy $50 of chimney sweep tools and clean it yourself and would rather pay someone $400 (I talked him down to $350) to do it then go for it. If you're looking for a professional to do professional work then look elsewhere.

They showed me how bad it was falling apart to the touch...this got the ball rolling in my head (since i do have some roof leaks from around the chimney maybe) to address the chimney. These guys (again, off the street, no truck or anything) weren't going to be who i hired. So i had 2 companies come inspect & bid (both priced the same) and i went with Ed's. Oscar is the owner, Ed's son, and he's been doing chimneys for his whole life. When the owner is actually doing the work himself (like i do) is always an "im sold" situation for me. He and his assistant were at my place, on time, at a time that worked for me, for 5 hrs/3 days. Oscar explained every detail, answered all my questions, spotted some minor leak related stuff on my roof and fixed it at no extra charge. He is VERY in tune with maintaining high customer satisfaction. He was also conscious of making sure no carbon monoxide would creep into the house. He improved upon that exact situation that a previous heating company handled in an inferior capacity. They left no mess. I'm super happy with the new chimney! i have no doubt if there is any issues in the near future, he will be on top of it.

I reached out to the owner thinking that there is an issue with the install as it led to overloading the main breaker which is maintained by the HOA. The owner stopped by and claimed that the installation is correct. The problem is not with the installation as it's with the load and the breaker used. Texted him multiple times, he stopped replying to my text and I haven't heard back from him. HOA hired 3 other licensed electricians to diagnose the main breaker issue and all of them agreed that the load is above 100 with the 50 AMPs installed breaker and reported that back to HOA and now HOA is asking me to fix this and install a breaker with lower AMP. Had a large, obtrusive puddle forming in my driveway every time it rained, which would stay there…read morefor several days during the winter, and which was also blocking the pathway to my back door. Paul at Allied worked with me over the course of four months figuring out the best way to deal with the problem. The solution was a channel drain that would lead to my existing gutter drainage system. Because of the topography of my existing driveway, I assumed that there would still be a fair amount of puddling even after the drain was installed and that I would just have to live with it. In the days just after the install however, it rained quite a bit, and the drain worked pretty much perfectly. The puddling has been reduced by about 95%, and the water that does collect is shallow enough to handle easily. After the rain stops, the remains evaporate after a few hours. The small lake that I used to have to walk around is gone. The guys who did the install were professional and very courteous and Paul was very knowledgeable and patient in response to my many, many questions and emails leading up to the install.
