Not Reliable. Ordered a control board for a washing machine. Correct part number is written clearly in the invoice but when order was delivered it was unfortunately a control board of a different structure and part number. Do not know if staff is dumb or what as they could not even get the right part number. They refunded a portion of the total cost but they should change the name to Unreliable. read more

I definitely do not recommend ordering from them and selecting shipping. We paid the flat rate delivery fee and Loomis never even got the package to us despite multiple calls to both Reliable Parts and Loomis to confirm shipping and the address information. Eventually, I gave up and told Loomis to ship it back to the Coquitlam warehouse and I was informed by Reliable Parts I wouldn't be refunded the delivery fee (yes, even though the part was stuck in Loomis purgatory). We're still in the process of waiting for the actual part refund, but I've opted to never bother with either businesses again. read more

A phone number was supplied to Reliable (for courier updates). We waited patiently through the holidays and the part never showed up. We contacted Reliable to discuss options. Always good service and most of the time the parts I need are in stock. Pretty awesome when you can fix a 50 year old stove. Wholesale account gives good value which I pass onto my customers at good will. I'm a journeyman electrician for the past 30 years working for expert electric, since all the laws have changed, NON ticketed electrical, plumbing or gas appliance repair men should not be installing or repairing any appliance period. This is regulated work under the national building code, appliance guys need to be licensed and prove they have a license attached to their invoice, business card or van. NO more unmarked vans. I have ordered a part for my oven on 18/12/2020 . My credit card was charged but part never arrived . I called them on 04/01/2021 and after 45 minutes of waiting on the phone was told my part approximately will arrive on 15/01/2021. It didn't. I called at least 4-5 times more this company . Couple of people promised to call me back once they find out what is happening with order , they never did . Finally today after waiting almost 2 months I called and cancel this order . As soon a lady on another side heard me " I want to cancel " , she just rudely said " Ok " and hang up on me . Without apology and even saying goodbye. I ordered a part on line. It took a couple of weeks to come in, but I didn't mind, I had patience. I ordered the right part in the first place, and what I needed arrived and was put in, in 5 minutes. Awesome. After I waited two weeks, I called in, and the agent apologized and said they had to back order the part, and to call her back in a week and she'd be able to trace the package, but the part arrived at my house 3 days later. Lots of fishy websites out there, but this was legit for me, and I feel for some of the comments on here, but jeez, order the right part that you need in the first place. Oh Reliable, why can't you pay attention to your name? We have just been put through the ringer waiting for parts to arrive. When I called the main hotline to ask how long a part would take to arrive, the lady said it would be 2 business days. Based on this info, I decided that I would take my washing machine apart to test the part rather than call in a repair person. So after testing things, the next morning I decided to order the part. After ordering they tell me it will be FIVE business days! Why tell me two yesterday? After hearing nothing for a week, I call the store to check in. Oh guess what, it's at least another week! I tell the guy "they originally told me it would be 2 days!" to which the guy says, "Well they LIIIIIEEED TO YAAA!" :-| It's a shame this is basically the only place in town for appliance parts. read more

May 21/2021 On April 1 I placed an online order for 2 parts. After waiting for 3 weeks I called to find out what was happening. I was told the parts were on backorder. The parts were in stock at the time that I ordererd them. Now I find out that they are back ordered in the Coquitlam warehouse but you do have them in stock in Toronto. So I asked if they could be sent from Toronto. I was told yes but it would take 5 to 9 working days. I asked if they could be sent faster and I was told that that couldn't be changed. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I would be put on a "quick" hold at which point the phone hung up on me. You have my phone number 250 802 5070 because that's how she traced my order so why did not a supervisor call me back? 1) from the website I was informed the parts were in stock. 2) I was never told the parts were on back order 3) The parts are in stock in Toronto but you failed to cross ship 4) I was hung up on and no one called me 5) There was zero help from customer service to expedite my parts. Terrible customer service by staff member named "Mario." Came in looking for a replacement bulb for my over the range microwave. It's a pretty common part so didn't expect the response I got. "Mario" said to me "you can't just walk in here with a bulb and expect me to find it for you. We're not a lighting store." Told him I thought it was a common part and that there would be an area for appliance bulbs. His response was "you thought wrong. We're not a lighting store." Then he told me he needed the exact make and model of the appliance before he could do anything. I had driven half an hour to get to the store and didn't want to go back to my house to search for the info so scoured the internet to find the part number for the bulb. Turns out the bulb is an 8206232A Light. I go back inside hoping I don't have to deal with "Mario" again. This time I get someone named "Mel". He takes one look at the bulb and says "Oh that's an 8206. Very common bulb". Goes to the bulb section (didn't know there was one but it was 2 aisles over from where I lined up to talk to "Mario" and gets it for me. There was a stack of them there so it must be a common part. Got someone at a call center who couldn't help me and suggested to calling the main store. When I did finally get through, they said on 2 occasions they would call me back. Nobody called. needed a new thermostat for my garage fridge. I removed the offending piece, internet search of the p/n on it revealed that reliable parts usa had a listing so I went to the coquitlam location. when I finally got someone at the counter to help me and I showed him the piece he asked do you have the model number of the fridge? I said no just the actual piece I want to replace. He told me it was unlikely that he would be able to find it. I asked him to try and he was right- entering in the p/n gave no result. I told him it came up on line at reliable parts .com. he said "hmm". I asked him if there was anyway he could check the system as it was just a simple danby fridge and I have seen lots with the same set up. Nope. Finally i pulled out my phone, typed in the p/n and the reliable parts.com link came up, I opened the download and there was the p/n with cross references to the Reliable Parts sku and the manufacturer's alternate part numbers. He looks it up and magic... they have lots of them. lousy service, complete lack of give-a-crap and just generally sucky. read more

Being a small businessman myself, the last thing I would do is write something to harm ones business maliciously, but this company is off the charts when it comes to pricing. I went in the other day to replace an oven light-bulb for a middle of the road "kitchen aid" product. I was quoted $47.50 for this bulb. After I stopped laughing, I went on-line and bought 3 of them for $5.10 a piece ...... personally, I would rather support a local business and pay realiable $10 - $12 and be done with it. but $47.50 compared to $5.10 for a littel light bulb? caveat emptor people.... read more

Really wish I had read all the poor reviews before heading in there! Long story short, they sold me an ice maker ($230) for my Samsung fridge. Got home and noticed it was not the right part, went back the next day to exchange for the correct part, told me I was out of luck! Absolutely no returns or exchanges!! They could clearly see that the part was never out of the box, but rudely told me to get lost! I asked them to be reasonable, but there was no care or compassion for my situation! This business is the absolute worse service I have ever had. It started off well called in for a High Voltage board for my Maytag fridge. Good news we have one in our ware house confirmed by their parts guy off of my model number of fridge. Go in the next day and promptly pay for the HV board go home to install. Problem one the HV board will not accept the code that is suppose to. The code is supplied in the fridge with Model number, Serial number and the Code for the HV door. The code number is specific for each model. I call Relible back I get a parts guy on the call service he confirms that the HV board is specific to model number and serial number so I do in fact have the wrong part. I return to the store and I am told that I am wrong and that their part guy doesn't know what he is talking about. At this point I am getting angry as I spent 330 dollars on a part that is no use to me. Also the parts guy tells me that they are not there to supply me with trouble shooting parts until I figure it out. At this point I ask him to do a little research on his reliable parts web site he responds with he doesn't use that he uses the Whirlpool website. A lot of help from his side. At this point he says he has called his manager to see what they can do as he seems to start to believe I just want the correct part, problem is their other part guy had already told be the correct part is back ordered with no deliver date. I left the store with the wrong part as they will not take back the part they order for me. The next day I get a call that says I can bring back the wrong part leave it with them they will keep my money and they will order the back ordered part and call me when it comes in. As now I have a part for a fridge I don't need and a busted fridge. Thanks reliable parts for taking $330 from me and leaving me feeling that buying parts off of the internet is the way to go, as at least then you only have yourself to blame when you get the wrong part, not a supposed professional. I went there today with a friend to purchase parts for her refrigerator. Because of a ruptured water main on Columbia Street in New Westminster, it took us an hour to get from New Westminster Quay to Reliable Parts. We arrived at exactly 4:45pm. They close at 5:00pm. The man was very kind and told us that, yes, he could help us. But he was having trouble getting onto LG's website for the parts numbers. Not his fault. Definitely not our fault. Then a large young woman came over and announced angrily to me and my friend that they didn't get paid for working after 5:00pm - as if it was our fault that the process was taking so long. Her rude and unprofessional attitude was beyond comprehension. We left looking at each other, thinking "What is her problem?" My experience with Reliable parts is terrible!!! The worst company in Canada!!! I ordered LG G3 celphone charger cable. According to the lady, the cable and plug comes together. she said it costs 43 cad and will be paid using credit card. and so i did. She also said that it will be delivered to the local reliable parts branch and someone from there will call me. It didn;t happen. 2 months later and no phone call, i went to pick up the part and i got the plug WITHOUT the cable. the guy over the counter said it's all he got. I called them to ask and they said they will send me the correct part in 3 days. it's been 6 days now. No delivery, no calls, nothing! Alas, i called them again and the operator simply told me to bring the part back to the center and they will reimburse me back my 43 cad so to get rid of me and hang up. I wasn't being difficult. Hi, I had terrible experience with Mississauga Store. My wife order a part and before buying the part asked about the return policy and the store associate mentioned 30 days refund. She was told the part will be available next day. We went back to cancel the order since we did not need it any more and was informed that there will be 20% restocking fee. We mentioned to them that we asked about refund policy before buying the part and it was never communicated to us. The guy who sold the part was there and as argument started, he just walked away. The supervisor Jefferey accepted first to refund with 10% restocking which we did not accept. After long argument, he accepted to refund full amount. As the other associate with rigging, he asked the reason for refund and I told him that they are expensive. The supervisor Jeffery stepped into our conversation and said that I li ed and the refund will be under 20% restocking fee. I got upset with supervisor for blaming about Lyin* g. The store refused to refund and then pushed us to walk out of the store. Totally rude staff and bluntly blaming supervisor. It look like they don't care about customer.
