This company DOES NOT stand behind their products. Do NOT buy from them. We had a new fridge that didn't freeze properly and the seal came off. Because it was after 60 days, Canadian Appliances refused to help in any way. All they did was refer us to the manufacturer phone number (agents based in Philippines) who insisted an East Coast repair (6000 miles away) company could help us. Had something delivered earlier and drivers showed up an hour earlier than expected. Because we didn't hear the phone they drove away and couldn't bother getting out of the truck to knock on the door. read more

*** PHONY CUSTOMER SERVICE *** CAS "customer service" is completely fake. I've waited on hold for hours, only to be dropped. No one calls back if you choose a call back. The online chat will show you as number 1 in the queue for an hour or so then drop you. I ordered over $10K of appliances from CAS, including installation of the gas range. The delivery people refused to install the range. My salesperson, Pavneet Kaur, called it a misunderstanding and said CAS doesn't install. She told me to figure out installation myself or talk to their After Delivery support (which doesn't exist). Despite adamantly claiming that CAS doesn't install, she later sent a Boxing Day email that included this gem: "Easy installs to get your new appliances up and running fast, including dishwashers, gas ranges and laundry". Total BS. read more

Beware of their price match offer. The day after we picked up our appliance, it was on sale for over $100 less, matching Rona and a few other businesses. After we emailed and then followed up with a phone call days later because they didn't respond we were informed that their price match is only good BEFORE you receive the product. This 'price match' offer is not the same as guaranteeing their price for a certain # of days. read more

Never again will I purchase from this so called company!!! Dishwasher installed but has no power since they left. Even did not take packaging with them. Figure salesman got his friend to install ass heading did not have record on installation. read more

Just ordered a dish washer as a gift. They shipped a damaged item, so when the assembly team arrived they refused to assemble it (we paid for the assembly service together with the order). But we called and they asked us to send photos of interior and exteriors etc so it took us 2 calls, 1 email, and we still don't know if they would take it back and send a new one or how long will it take them to bring it back. And the call center staff just said how could we know if it's damaged if you do not send us the photo. Is it not their responsibilities to send a qualified items after all? Don't ever go with this company. read more

CAS installed my washing machine wrong and only hooked it up to Hot water. They admitted full fault and told me they would send me someone. It has now been 4 months and I have still been waiting for a technician to come in. I reached out to customer support again and Sonia C in chat they won't send anyone because CAS too too long to schedule someone. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. The installers were highly unprofessional, their customer service. I only bought here to support a Canadian Company but I highly regret this. I would highly recommend Trail Appliance instead. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are a scam. And the extended warranty is even more of a scam. I have a 12 month the old fridge leaking and been waiting for their warranty gimmick people 21 days to do anything. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE ZERO STARS read more

I ordered a washer and dryer from Canadian Appliance. After also 1 month, the dryer was ready for delivery while the washer had been received and was processing. Then suddenly everything switched back to being ordered from the manufacturer (who knows how long it would take to get delivered). It was if the company had given my order to another customer who didn't buy on the black friday sale. I don't really know. But communication was poor and service was poor. I ended up cancelling the order and going with another company. I would never order from this company again. read more

If I could roll back time would not ever set foot in this CAS Coquitlam store. Now I am paying back for that error with nothing but grief and headache. The sales guys appear to be helpful but it's a move product and doesn't worry after that. Service is a joke at best, and that's being kind, save you money and frustration on a better place. If you want peace of mind and any assistance with any issues afterward save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. read more

Terrible experience. We bought an Electrolux refrigerator from them. Free waterline connection was included. The delivery team arrived and said that they couldn't install the waterline. They never do it, they don't have tools and they don't have a waterline. Called customer service. They claimed it wasn't on the order so too bad. I wanted to talk to a manager because on the website free waterline connection is automatic. I showed them the site. They acknowledged that but refused to do anything. No discount on shipping. No manager, no nothing. Costco and Trail Appliances are far better. Don't waste your time with these guys. read more

I am not one to leave a bad review. it took us 9 months to receive a broken fridge. it broke after a week of using our "brand new" fridge. we have a new baby, lost all our milk in the freezer for her. all our groceries. left with no response for weeks. when we finally got someone to check out the fridge, they told us the fridge was previously owned and someone tried to fix the wiring them selves. the fridge never stood a chance. So now, over a month later, and hundreds of dollars spent on so keep milk cold, shopping for food each day because we can't keep it cold, throwing out left overs. STILL nothing. we built the fridge into the cabinets so another option isnt possible or affordable to us. CAS please please please help. we are begging for our replacement. my baby is starting solids and I don't want to miss out on the experience. thank you for taking the time to read! read more

I bought a new LG dryer from CAS on November 18th, it was delivered on 19th. When the delivery team plugged it in, it made a lot of noises . They told me to ask for a replacement. I called CAS, I was told to fill out a request for replacement. The reply is my request is to read their return policy, replacement is not an option . My only option is to request service from manufacturer, read more

AVOID at all costs. Buyer truly be wary. We bought a refrigerator and dishwasher from CAS. We waited 12 days for delivery of our appliances. The day they were supposed to arrive, these grifters added an additional $650 dollars to our bill as an additional delivery fee. We cancelled our order after hours on the phone. If I could rate them below zero, CAS would earn that vote. read more

I thought Trail Appliances was a poorly run business, but this one goes beyond the pale. Purchased a Blomberg washer/dryer set after being told by the salesman about their exceptional quality. When I realized that the dryer took over two hours to dry a normal load and asked for help from CAS I was treated rudely and stonewalled until I finally gave up. Stay away from this place, it's an absolutely pathetic company. read more

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!! Your two Sales Reps have single-handily created the worst buying experience ever. Back in September, I ordered a KitchenAid appliance package for a new home renovation we undertook. After confirming, in an email from Arvinder, that we can only expect a 4-6 week lead-time for everything.... clearly this was not the case. After looking at the ETA for several weeks, our dishwasher consistently was pushed back. When i checked last week, it was now delayed until Feb 11. I was frustrated (to say the least) about the lack of service I have received, which was none, and made the decision to source out a different but similar dishwasher. the original dishwasher we ordered was the KDTM404KPS. After going on the CAS website, i noticed that there was a similar model (KDTM604KPS) that was available for pick-up at your Burnaby location. I reached out on the 'live chat' and spoke with your Customer Service Reps, Tappan Dave. After confirming via phone and email, he assured me that there was only going to be a $120 price difference between the two. While it only shows $100 difference on your website, I was understandably more than happy to just get a dishwasher. After i followed up with the Sales Rep who we purchased our appliance package originally (Arvinder Pal Singh) he said that the actual price difference would be more than $380. I was rather confused and frustrated knowing that there is only $100 difference on your website between the two models. After speaking with both Tapan and Arvinder, they response was basically "Too bad, so sad".... I cannot fathom how they are okay with charging me almost $400 more, yet the price on your website is only $100 difference. Shame. On. You. read more

Avoid buying anything from this company. Sales person was very good. But once I had to deal with a member of the "Order Resolution" team, she was unprofessional and horrible. You will never get true resolution from CAS. In the middle of our conversation the team member told my to "shut up" not once, but twice. I've never experienced such poor customer service. I will never deal with CSA ever again. Wow!! read more

they only want to sell after delivery they don't help you and they just delivered if you need to put handles or change the handle left to right they don't do it.for prices they all compete. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. We had a problematic appliance purchase that we immediately flagged. Forgotten parts, bad functioning unit. We got jerked around for 2 months with front staff promising they would have a manager contact us to resolve a return. You think this is how we wanted to spend our days. They showed utter disregard for customers at the height of Covid, telling us to go to the showroom. What is the matter with this company? Do not buy from here. Consider yourself warned. read more

Try calling them before you go and see if you can actually reach a human. I was given a 3pm to 6pm delivery window and they showed up at 2pm. I wasn't home yet. I tried to explain that he could go around back and see if my tenant was home to let him in, but he hung up on me, after telling me that HIS papers said different times. When I got home, I tried to call the store and would get put on hold by their automated system then get cut off. This was even with having the business card of the sales associate, which one would think would be a direct line to the store. I once got through to what I thought was the sales floor of the Schoolhouse branch where I bought the stove, but the fellow who answered was not able to communicate in English. Bad experience all around. Let's hope that when (if?) the stove finally arrives it works properly! read more

I called them to ask their in-store promo price -as it says to do. They quoted me a price higher than what was listed online. He said he would call back. Never did. I called again an hour later and got told to order it online and got hung up on. Even though it was supposed to be Cheaper in store. I would never purchase anything from these rude scammers. read more
