I was pressed for time and couldn't figure out what to do, so I looked in the local Yellow Pages for a locksmith and found Alpha Lock Services. Jonathan answered the phone and came to the rescue! Not only was he fast, courteous and helpful, but he had been at the house previously and had also helped the Trustee of the Estate install new locks! I was very impressed with his knowledge and will not hesitate to call him again! He found a way to retrieve the original combination from the manufacturer of the safe and not have to drill it open to get in. He only charged us for the short time he was there and also helped me open another safe that had lost it's key that was full of treasure as well! Thank You Jonathan! If you are ever in Ferndale and need the services of a locksmith, I highly recommend Jonathan of Alpha Lock Service

Not one to review often, but Danny and his guys deserve the recognition…read more Danny and his team converted our garage into a casita. Of the contractors I interviewed, Danny seemed the most honest and ethical. He was competitive on pricing and was willing to work with our modest budget. After seeing some of his previous work, I knew he could deliver on what we were asking him to do. Timeline, we honestly expected things to be delayed at every step, just given that this was during the tail end of the initial COVID shutdowns, supply chain issues, and, let's be honest, this is what many of us have come to expect from contractors. But all things considered, the milestones were most often met on time and the end product was delivered within the time frame proposed. To be expected, we had some disagreements and concerns along the way. What impresses me most was that Danny and his team were always quite responsive and in the end, our needs and desires always came first. Finally, in my mind, a job complete is only complete if the service that follows the delivery of the product is top notch. Danny and his team completes jobs. We had some minor issues in the year following the initial build. But Danny was always on top of it and despite being incredibly busy, found time to send his guys our way to take care of these issues promptly. Also, would like to recognize Jose, who was just the most sincere and hardest working of Danny's guys. Just a good guy; one of those guys that can't do any wrong. We were big fans. Honest, ethical, responsive, and fairly priced. And good guys, to boot. What more could you ask for in a contractor and his team? Thanks all for a job well done.

All of which I had been pleased with both pricing and quality. However, recently things went completely off the rails. The project started bad and ended awful. I got a call the day before the start saying we'd have a few days delay. Ok fine. I got a call later saying somebody would show up tomorrow. No one did. I got a call the next day saying they'd be there tomorrow. This time a guy showed up, said he needed to get some supplies, and never came back! Finally a guy came and tiled the shower and floors. Progress. Next, a crew came to do install the vanity. They left and never came back. Literally no one has come back to my house. And to make matters worse, Danny has completely ghosted me! Will not return my text. Will not return my calls. He was Johnny quick when it was time to collect the deposit. And now, nothing. It's bad enough that he took my money and left me high and dry. Our project was delayed months. When I finally scrambled to get a different contractor we found issues wrong with our cabinets. That's not their fault but given the delays we missed our return window. That's at least a couple more thousand dollars this company cost me. It has been an extremely frustrating experience apart from the money lost. We signed a contract. Never trust a company that doesn't honor it's own paperwork.
