His estimate was very reasonable, he showed up when he said he would, and he finished the job in under 4 hours. I still need to do the paint, but Daren's stucco work was excellent, you can't tell work was done! After 30 years of wanting this done, I was so happy with the result that I paid a little extra. I will definitely hire Daren for my next handyman job, he's a straight shooter.

Price was very fair. Daren is very responsive and punctual. I sent him a text, he asked about the job, came by the next morning to take a look and fit me in 3 days later into his schedule. He came right at the time discussed. Best of all he does a "clean room" setup where he drapes the area in plastic so there's no dust from the job (photo attached). He's very detailed, took up the old underlying drywall tape and patched the entire area as needed. We decided after the first day that we needed another coat of paint so he agreed to come the next morning and finish the job. He did a small repatch to get the finish right and applied the last coat, no extra charge. Very professional and detailed, plus a really nice guy.

Previously we had somebody else from another company out and they did not do the job properly. I explained the situation to Response Crew and I was relieved to receive reassurances from the manager of Response Crew that he'd send one of his best door guys out and that we would not be disappointed. The manager also called back twice to make sure we were happy with the job. Although I missed those voice messages I figure posting about my experience here will make up for that. It's always tough when you are trying to hang a new door on an old frame that may not be perfectly straight anymore. And yes only time will tell if the fit holds. He wrote our comprehensive estimate for pull-outs in all our kitchen cabinets as well as for our master bathroom vanities and our lower stop-n-drop cabinet. Scheduling was immediate; Steve, our installer did a fantastic job, including a challenging task of repairing the damaged metal track on one of our existing deep utility drawers, which we really needed and appreciated. Subsequently, we added another 9 feet of cabinetry in our kitchen, and of course we again hired Shelf Theory to not only add pull-outs to the new cabinets but also to convert all the existing doors and drawers to soft-close. We wanted to convert 1/2 of the new lower pantry-size cabinet to a "Utility" for storing our step ladder, and we knew that Chris would know just what to do. In fact, I insisted that Chris himself would handle this request, and he did not disappoint. Along with his trusty assistant, Craig, they expertly accomplished the modification as well as the complete conversion to soft-close in record time. We were amazed at how quickly they accomplished this work and how meticulously they were in precisely adjusting the tension for each soft-close. We could not be happier with the quality, value and superb workmanship we received from Chris and his team at Shelf Theory. And thank you very much for the Veteran discount, Chris. This job, as all the others, was done meticulously. He cleaned out the crack, installed drywall screws and mesh, applied coats of mud and texture, then cleaned up well. Provided instructions on how to sand, prime and paint including photos of the the best primer and recommended sanding block. Scott focuses on his work, completes it quickly and it is perfection.
