Example #2 of how much Vancouver has changed since I've moved away for several years: reasonably priced artisan coffee on main street that isn't Mon Amie! Popped in here due to the cool logo I saw on yelp, and was pleased with the product! I had the house drip and the flavor was smooth but not bland, bold but not powerful. Didn't need to put anything in it but I like to so I did anyway. I got to sample the espresso my dad ordered and I want to come back and have that next time. Seems like they have a great assortment of beans you can buy and other rad merch. I wish they had a location in San Diego! read more

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in downtown Vancouver. They have really unique seasonal drinks and flavors and a good selection of pastries. There are ample power outlets, which is very important to me, because I often go to coffee shops to work and study. Also, there are several metered parking spots just outside (free on weekends!!), so no stress looking for parking. Only cons are: the drinks are pretty overpriced ($5+ for 12 oz seasonal latte) and the decor is "minimalist" which looks cute, but also means there is not enough seating/table space. I prefer function over fashion, but at least it looks pretty! read more

Nice little place and I put the emphasis on little as it only has 3 two seat tables and a couple of short benches without tables. The coffee was good but weak. If you're planning to sit for awhile and do some computer work you'd be better off going to Starbucks. This, in my opinion, is kind of an in and out kind of place. Not really set up as a neighborhood coffee shop. Nice folks but not overly friendly. read more

It's unfortunate I haven't been here more since I live next door - I love that they're open at 6AM unlike a lot of the local coffee shops in this neighborhood. Their coffee is great. I came in craving a caramel machiatto (yeah, sue me - I love Starbucks coffee drinks!) but they didn't have caramel. The barista improvised with some sort of mexican flavoring he had and it actually ended up tasting pretty unique and better than the caramel machiatto. The guys who work here at super friendly and it's a cool little joint. Nothing crazy here - just some small pastries and straightforward coffee/nitro. Worth a visit! read more

Wow! Such a delicious nitro cold brew! All made in house! The staff was kind, genuine and helpful! Especially the gentleman taking orders. So glad I stopped here today. I left energized and with a smile. Thanks, relevant! read more

One of my go-to coffee shops in Vancouver. I always come here to study, the ambiance is very nice and there is a lot of natural light. I always get the lattes and it is amazing. Not too sweet but not super bitter. The maple latte is worth a try! Service is excellent, workers are very nice. I like that it is one of the coffee shops that open later. Would recommend it since the coffee is amazing and good study space! read more

These dudes are rad! They make the best coffee we have found in Vancouver and they love dogs! Our new coffee spot in the couve! read more

Relevant Coffee - Getting our Saturday morning coffee on at Relevant Coffee! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Pros: amazing beautiful space, fair prices, drinks are top shelf, super friendly staff. Cons: LOUD LOUD LOUD. I tried to work here with sound canceling headphones and I could still hear everything. This place is 70-75 decibels loud. I would just grab a drink and leave but part of the reason I goto a coffee shop is enjoy the surroundings. Loudest coffee spot I've been to, was unable to hold a conversation with the person next to me. I'll be happy to try this place again and update my review once they invest in acoustic treatments. read more

First: I love Relevant. The dudes are so incredibly friendly, and they make amazing coffee. I just want to get that out of the way before I say a mean thing, as is my custom. So you know I don't like kids, right? And I don't think kids belong in places like bars, fancy salons, or really most public areas tbh. Relevant is not what I would call childproof, or even child-friendly in its layout and decor. There is no seating, the space is small, and there are adults carrying hot liquids. For some reason nearly every time we visit, there are multiple small children running around practically begging to have drinks spilled on them. Lucky for them I drink only cold coffee, so my shit always has a lid on it. One recent memorable time, someone was only watching one of their children, and the other one came up to me and said, "You have big boobies." "Yes I do!", I replied, and then remembered why I tend to favor drive-thru coffee shacks. Anyway, the drinks at Relevant are exceptional, but you should try to cover your boobs, unless you feel like talking about them with children. Spoiler: I do not! That is gross. read more

Looks nice inside and outside.Baristas are friendly.I ordered large iced latte .Taste was good.My rating has only 3 stars because they only put two shots of espresso. They should put 2 shots for the small cup and 3 shots for the large cup in my humble opinion.I understand that this is happening to the majority of the coffee shops nowadays, but I have visited a few that they respect their customers and they put 2 shots for a small and 3 shots for the large. read more

I just discovered this cute little coffee shop on a side street in downtown Vancouver when I was here meeting a client for lunch. Of course, I got a chai tea latte which was delicious. The owner was working behind the counter and was super friendly and helpful. What a great place to grab a quick cup of coffee or tea. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Vancouver. read more

Weekly customers. We love patronizing coffee roasters, as the coffee always seems to taste better because it's much fresher. We always get a mocha breve. Great coffee taste (not burnt). They use chocolate from Ranger Chocolate in Portland (and Ranger Chocolate aka Cup & Bar sells Relevent coffee & their Cold Brew). They also sell locally baked pastries, which are also delicious. We like the Philly Kake (similar to a peanut butter cup) and the strawberry matcha scone. Support your local business - go here. read more

Very disappointed in this place. Staff has been rude every time I've gone in. They could use a bit of help in the area of hospitality.

Super friendly neighborhood coffee place. I'll def be back during my next visit to Vancouver! Great pour overs-I tried several and they were all delicious single origin coffees- roasted my Relevant. Patrons were friendly too- I ended up chatting with several over the three days I visited. read more

Relevant Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Great coffee, cool space, but can't give it more stars because of the noise level (deafening as my friend says). It's like off the charts loud and echoy even with only a dozen or so people in there. Other than that it's a nice add to a gentrifying area. read more

This coffee shop powers our entire work place through crunch times. We're huge fans of the canned cold brew to bring back to the shop, or the hot espresso when we feel like sitting in the cafe to get away. They have both wonderful staff and owners. read more

The ambiance, décor, vibes, drinks, everything is superb! Their chai tea is exquisite and the workers here are super friendly and kind. I'd totally recommend this place as a hang out, study place, first date (or really any date) because it's the best. read more

This is a great place. We often meet for short meetings at relevant coffee. Staff is cordial and friendly. Whether you have one of those fancy coffees or just a drip it's a great place to go. There's enough Cozy to satisfy even the quietest of people. Kind of cool they've got their own roasting machine now. Never seen them use it but I suppose I'm there at the wrong time of day. read more

I'm so glad more of these awesome, handcrafted shops are popping up in The Couve! Relevant is awesome. The cold brew on nitro is creamy, bold and delicious. I'm seriously craving it as we speak. The beans are excellent too! My husband used them this morning for his coffee. The staff is friendly & knowledgable. Will absolutely be back! As a side note: it's important to recognize that local shops like these are NOT Starbucks or DB. If you're looking for something with 50g of sugar from syrup or a 32oz drink, you will likely not find that here. read more

My go to coffee spot downtown Vancouver. They have the best coffee, and the best price for a quad espresso. They'll even let me get 2 shots of each current roast (choice of 2 roasts) fresh ground, for the same price, whereas many coffee shops nearby will charge you for 2 drinks, instead of just adding $1 or $2's for the extra shots (most places pull doubles, and not singles). read more

Relevant Coffee - Best Dark Chocolate Mocha In All of Vancouver. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

This is a local coffee roaster with some of the friendliest people in Vancouver. Seriously. There's a level of love and authenticity here that you don't get many places. More importantly, they're coffee is consistently great. I would tell you to get a shot of espresso (which range from great to life-changing), but their drip coffee is pretty awesome, as are their mixed drinks (cap, latte, cortado, etc.) In other words: when in doubt, ask what's good and you won't be disappointed. They have nitro cold brew too, if you're into that. Oh. And they have a non-dairy milk based on oats, which froths really decently in a cap (coconut, almond, etc. doesn't froth that well usually). It's a pretty big deal, judging from the number of people I overhear ordering it. Relevant also represents at the Vancouver Farmer's Market on Saturdays/Sundays. They just have drip and cold brew, I believe, but it's the same level of quality as you'd get in the shop. Conclusion: Relevant is new, but killing it. I'd say they have the best coffee in Vancouver, served by some of the friendliest people. read more

Relevant is a great little coffee shop. I love their nitro cold brew, although I should really learn to only get a 12 oz because it is STRONG. The staff is super friendly. I stopped by with my dog today, and they were kind enough to give her a treat. Any place that has good coffee and is dog-friendly is great in my book. read more

Nice little hipster spot and downtown Vancouver. Coffee is good people are friendly had a quad shot iced mocha their wall art is pretty cool. Essentially they all take turns throwing coffee in their own faces. Not sure quite what it means but it sure is funny to look at decent amount of seating inside and outside. read more

Relevant coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops in the Portland - Vancouver metro area. They have by far one of the best lattes I've ever tasted. Unlike other coffee shops Relevant's lattes keep there sweetness until the last sip. Others began to fade and have a bitter taste at the end. As well, Relevant roast their own coffee. I'd recommend there Brazil origin. read more

Delicious espresso and cute cafe. Outdoor seating for a nice sunny morning. Tried their Kenyan espresso, and an oat milk cortado, both excellent! Very nice guys working there - check them out! read more

Relevant has delicious brews and it's in a clean, modern atmosphere. The baristas (baristo's...?) are more than happy to explain how they make the drinks, what the different kinds of coffees are, how they're sourced, how to make your own exquisite coffee - basically anything coffee they take the time to thoroughly explain and don't make you feel silly for asking (like some coffee shops I've been to). After moving from Texas, and not know much about good coffee, they were very helpful and friendly in educating me. I have gotten their version of a pumpkin spice latte, their regular drip, vanilla latte, and americano. Although the Americano is my favorite, I have to say that all of their coffee is fantastic. I always come back for more! And I would highly recommend it to anyone in the neighborhood. read more

Relevant Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Hands down best coffee you'll try in downtown Vancouver, the roaster (Mitch) has been roasting for years and now has his own shop. They bring what many shops can't, consistency. With a small team they keep the coffee fresh and switch up the coffee beans depending on the season of harvest. This is quality coffee, but come in and try it for yourselves, you'll thank me. read more

A nice place visually and friendly service but like others have said, noisy. The coffee is disappointing and don't stand on their own. The espresso pulls are on the weak side, the Columbia beans are bitter side and the foam isn't quite there. The lattes are barely warm and the drip coffee is bitter. Overall a disappointing experience and not worth a repeat visit. Bummer. read more
