Took the hubby here for a Father's Day massage bc we had to cancel our Kearney Mesa appointment bc there was so much traffic and we didn't make it down that far. The massage was good. I love the hard pressure. I think this spot has real masseuse people who actually went to school for massage therapy bc they have like specific techniques to suggest that. However, they didn't have hot rocks. They didn't have the bar thing where they step on your back or crawl all over you. They didn't do the crazy thai stretches at the end that we're used to. They didn't do my heels. The girls are very nice though... the hot towels on the back of my neck was lovely. This place would be ideal for people who've had a long week. Wednesday evening, I wanted a massage and found this gem. Walk in - no problem. Very clean and very quiet. The bed was comfortable, and I had no issues. Kevin took care of me, and I had a 90 min aroma therapy and got a hot stone massage. I am not going to lie; the pressure was intense in a way that felt good, like a release. Please note that it's been over a year since I've had a massage. I embraced every moment, and if there was an area where I needed less pressure, I let him know. I appreciate the stretches and full bodywork I received like no other experience. Was I sore the next day? Very. As I said, it's been over a year so I'm sure I needed it. Stretching and lots of water worked. I was fine by the next evening. I received a 10% discount which was very kind of them. I definitely will be returning and trying different types of massages. I have visited the Vista location and the gals working have mentioned their other location in San Marcos and that we should give it a try. I had that chance today with my sister. I knew one of the masseuse there and requested that she would be the one to tend to my sister and I would take any of the other masseuse available. My sister and I were very pleased with our 1 1/2 hour combination massage. They worked diligently to have Susi which I requested for my sister, work into the schedule. I had Patsy and for a short period, Vanessa. Patsy (very knowledgeable) placed her fingers on my right shoulder and immediately felt there was a problem spot. I had not yet told her at this point where my issues were, but yet she was able to find all of them. She used good, strong techniques, but yet, still gentle, that I had not yet experienced and was working out the tight and knotted areas. Vanessa had to replace Patsy, but they made sure before the massage to check with me if that was OK, and I said it was. Vanessa is a petite female, but with strong hands. All the ladies were very friendly and very accommodating. This location has a shower area, which I did take advantage of. This place is nicely decorated, very spacious and very clean. I was concerned that being in a busy strip mall and off the main street that the noise may be a concern, but it was not. I always bring my earplugs just in case I can't tolerated noisy incoming customers or street noise. I would definitely return for more great massages. This review is actually for two things- my first visit there I got a regular full body massage, and it was very good. I had asked for deep tissue, and it was more of a Swedish with firmer pressure, but not bad. The second time I went was for a foot massage WHICH I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I did not want to give this business a 1 star review, because the full body massage was good, but the foot massage was terrible. I have had hundreds of foot massages over the years, but none like this. Normally, they put you in a chair or low table and soak your feet. Then they spend the majority of the time on the feet doing massage and reflexology. The remainder of the time most places do some massage on legs, arms, neck and some have you roll over and work a little on your back. The foot massage I received here was strange and unpleasant. I was taken into a regular massage room with a high table and was on my back the entire time. No foot soak. The therapist began rubbing my left shin, up and down for a long time. She spent very little time on my foot- which I found odd because the focus is supposed to be on the feet. She put a little pressure on a few points on my foot, but that was it- no actual foot massage. Again the majority of the massage was on my shin. She spent about 15-20 minutes doing this then moved on to the right leg where she did exactly the same thing. It was a shin massage, not a foot massage. It actually started to be irritating having one part of my body massaged for that long. When she finished that part I was relieved and was looking forward to another part of my body being massaged- or maybe even my feet specifically. But no, she actually went back to the left leg and started rubbing my shin again! At that point I sat up and asked her if that was all she was going to do for an hour. She said that's all they do for foot massage, but that she'd spend the last 10 minutes on my neck which she did. Worst foot massage ever, especially considering she spent a total of maybe 5 minutes on each foot. They contacted me afterward and asked me to review them. I told them of my experience and they offered to give me extra time on my next massage, but I declined. It would be too awkward to return to this place. Again, the full body massage was good and I'd recommend that, which is why I gave them 4 stars. I didn't want to hurt the business with 1 star, but wanted to share my experience. Anyone who has received what I think is a typical foot massage with reflexology is not going to enjoy this. JMO. read more

I was visiting my sister and while she was at work, she made me a massage appointment near her house. Conveniently, she was able to book the appointment and pay (and include tip) all online. She booked a 90 minute Swedish/deep tissue massage. Since she did it all online, I didn't have to worry about a thing, which was much appreciated. My appointment was with Nan, who was ready to greet me as soon as I walked through the door. Since it was my first time, I filled out a new client form and was shown my room. Nan also showed me where the bathrooms were, which I really appreciated because forgetting to pee makes for a reaaaaallly long 90 minutes. Once I was settled on the table- Nan got to work! She applied the perfect amount of pressure and focused on areas that needed the most work. She worked quickly but effectively and she made sure I was comfortable. If you like a deep massage with lots of pressure- this is a perfect place for you. Overall- I really enjoyed this massage. It was a good value for the quality massage I received. My therapist Marie was fantastic. I had a Swedish massage for an hour, followed by some intense, Thai based work on my lower back and hip area. It was wonderful! Marie's knowledge of anatomy (she is NCBTMB Certified) and her ability to go to my comfort limit without exceeding it, gave me great relief and really enhanced my mobility! The spa itself is very clean and professional, and they offer a discount if you book online (tho my feeling is that the rates are so reasonable, I won't use that discount!) I am just here for a visit and ended up sleeping wrong and decided to find a Thai massage place that I thought could stretch me out. The first place I tried didn't work out, and it was the best thing that could have happened to me. When I contacted Relax Zone they texted me back within 10 minutes and asked questions about not only the services I wanted but also why I wanted them. Had they not asked, I would have gotten the Thai massage which was a bad idea and would have caused more aggravation. I continued to ask several questions and was downright indecisive, but they were very knowledgeable and not once did they get aggravated with me and were instead very patient and helpful. I decided to get the 2-hour hot stone massage and added a 30-minute reflexology session. It was the best thing I could have done for myself. I have gotten plenty of massages before, but my session with Linda was absolutely life-changing. I have been raving about her to everyone since I left, unfortunately, only one of them even live close enough to try it out. So I decided to help fellow Yelpers :) Linda was very professional, her techniques were perfect, the right pressure, and the right amount of attention to each area. This place earned all five stars!! I came here with my mom, we each had a 50$ SpaFinder gift card. As soon as we walked in the door our masseuse's greeted us- they are very friendly and welcoming. Our massage was excellent! The ambiance is very relaxing, clean and welcoming. The price is 55$ each for a 1 hour Swedish massage but when you go in a pair it takes 5$ off- coming out to 50$ each.
