This is the go-to massage location in North County. I've been here multiple times and Never disappointed!!

Another great experience. I walk in with pain and leave walking more upright than when i walked in. Back surgeries randomly leaves me with muscle pain and Wendy is the best. Ive tried other massage therapist and they cant seem to get the massage. I only have 1 request "follow the knots." No rush she takes her time and if pain or knots exceed pain level she takes it easy. And works the knots to not bruise even more. The price is a but more but if you pain relief. Wendy is your gal. She works very hard please tip well. read more

So great! Can't beat $65 for 1 hour pricing. Came here very late without an appt and they were kind enough to stay way past their closing time to accommodate the full hour. The masseuse used strong pressure and wasn't scripted. She actually found my spots of tension and worked where I needed it. Wish I got her name! Nothing fancy- no music or candles or spa feeling but they don't try to pretend to be something they're not either. I came here long ago and don't remember why I was not impressed (thin walls and traffic noise maybe?) - but this time was amazing. Worked on muscles I didn't even know I had and stretched me like a pretzel. So relaxing my body actually left this planet. Heated blanket was nice. I'll definitely be back. Btw They have a sign up in the room where you change- no inappropriate requests...No funny business. Kinda sad they have to explicitly post that but the world can be a creepy place I guess read more

This is my go to spot for an amazing massage. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Prices are very affordable. Every massage I've had here has been better than any massage I've had at a high end resort. Downsides are it can be a little noisy. They do step out of the room sometimes without saying anything, but it's usually to get towels or hot stones. It doesn't bother me because the quality of the massage makes up for it all. I always leave feeling great. read more

Angel Massage Spa - Massage table ready for massage. - Massage Near Me - Escondido, California

Clean and nice little place with big parking. Though the massage is mediocre. We had the combination Foot and Body massage. They took 15 min on our face and head with "feather" like touching, not massage. Then foot and body massage were also very light and brief regarding we kept asking to have more work on our particular area and they totally understood our request but chose to ignore it. read more

Reading a lot of reviews looking for a massage place. Landed on this one, a little apprehensive from the negative reviews. Didn't experience any thing negative. Mia was accommodating to schedule me a early massage with Wendy. Wendy was amazing, great pressure, I like it harder than most. She had great flow and very attentive to body. Focusing on tight spots as needed. Definitely wasn't a "routine" typical waste of a massage that you get from other places. No pressure to tip like some say. I did tip only wish I had more cash to tip more because Wendy was great, attentive and professional! Definitely will be back again! read more

An absolute disaster -- this was supposed to be a special gift for my younger sister and her fiancé to celebrate their engagement, but it turned into a complete disappointment and ruined what should have been a joyful day. The service was mediocre from the start. They were greeted without warmth or enthusiasm, and the massage itself was weak, rushed, and completely lacking in care or technique. My sister left feeling more tense than relaxed. But the most outrageous part? After the session, the staff DEMANDED tips -- not suggested, not politely asked -- DEMANDED. And when the amount given didn't meet their expectations, they pushed for more in an aggressive and uncomfortable manner. This was meant to be a thoughtful, relaxing experience for two people in love. Instead, it left them stressed, upset, and questioning why I chose this place in the first place. Absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. read more

Manuel's 90 minute massage is out of this world!!! Wonderfully relaxing and left feeling taller and lighter. Thank you

First time going and i opted for the 60 minute massage for 65 and it was just what i needed. I didn't get the name of my masseuse (she had me on cloud 9) she did a great job. I'll definitely come back to treat myself again sometime soon. read more

That was the best massage I've had in the last 30 years! Manuel was my massage therapist. He was kind, polite, and funny. He went through every muscle on my body and worked it over. He coached me on breathing to relax and even cleared my nose when it got stuffy with a face massage technique. I used to love getting a massage but I never knew it could be THIS good. I was lying on the table just thinking about how often I could come back. That was one of the best experiences of my life! 20 out of 10 experience. read more

I woke up with major kink in neck so I called to see if I could get in. They had appt at 1. I told her where I was hurting and she worked on that area a little more. The room was pretty, the sheets were nice and temp was perfect. Personally, I believe in getting massages in the nude. It was kept totally professional with no worries. It's unfortunate I didn't ask her name. $75 for 75 minutes read more

That was the best massage I've ever had. I got a couples massage with my boyfriend. I didn't get the name of the man, but he was amazing. I run and lift weights 6 times a week so I am always so sore and have muscle pain. My left foot is always in pain. His massage was so good that it literally got rid of all that pain and soreness. Even in my foot, which I've had for years. I told my boyfriend that we can never go to a different spa ever again, we need to always go to this one now. read more

5 Star! I had an incredible experience at Angle Massage Spa today -- hands down the best massage I've ever had. Wendy absolutely rocked my massage. I left feeling completely refreshed and recharged. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! Wendy...thank you! read more

Michael is INCREDIBLE. I've had some massages in my life, but this was by far the best. Like high-end resort quality for $60/hr. I'm so happy I randomly found this place. Book with him immediately and tip him your whole life savings! read more

It struck me as unusual. The door to the massage room was left open during the massage. Lots of activity and conversation in the hall. Not quite what I was expecting or looking for. The massage itself was mediocre. read more

Update response to owners response: Yes, I'm sure you have returning customers doing this business at the same location for a long time. And yes, I understand that everybody has different style/preference. But my experience wasn't about the technique the masseuse used on me. The problem was that he barely tried. Like I said, the time he spent on my left leg and right leg was completely off- like 40 min one leg and 20 min on the other leg. And not once he asked if the pressure is good or not like how a lot of other professional masseuses ask. I don't like making comments since I want to allow the masseuse to do their style- but lazy is not a style I appreciate. --------------------------- I never liked Chinese massage- I usually go to thai or Korean massage- but my pregnant body needed some relaxation and decided to give it another go. Yeah, my expectation was low... but gosh dang, I felt like I wasted my time laying there for an hour. Since I am in my third trimester and was short in time, I opted out for 1 hour foot massage. It was just very gently stroking the whole time on my first leg (left) and my right leg, was slightly better stroking (I think it's last 10 min, so he wanted to make a good last impression?) also used little different technique on the right leg. Then maybe get a foot massage tool and use that on people? So at least you can get some pressure Waste of time and money. I will not return. read more

1st if all, let me say WOW! I got a massage from "Wendy". Actually i think it may have been a foot reflexology massage, but either way it changed my life! best thing ever! thank you Wendy! BretD read more

I have been going to Angel massage for years I must say the customer service and the is 100% there. They always do their best to accommodate your needs and wants. so far everybody I have used has been pretty good at this facility today. I tried somebody named Manuel And he went above and beyond I was super relaxed super comfortable he confirmed the strength and just continued to make sure that I was comfortable and that he was doing exactly what I wanted. I must say this is one of the best massages. I've had in a very long time and I definitely plan on visiting him again soon. The prices are also very reasonable as well! read more

I had the pleasure of getting a 90-minute massage from Sally over a week ago. I had been to Angel Massage about a year ago and the massage was so-so. I have also been for a couple of foot massages in the past which were excellent. Being the big strong athlete that I once was, lol. I need a lot of deep tissue and stretching to help keep my body in shape. Sally gave me a combination Thai/Deep Tissue massage that was excellent. I look forward to going back soon. read more

The massage was good but the pressure was so firm it wasn't relaxing. I'm not sure if I'll go back.

Came here yesterday for a couples massage and facial. Was the first massage I've had since my back fusion. And I tell you what that is exactly what the doctor should have ordered long ago! LOL! The hot stones and the rubbing and the oils and the careful care she took with my back was much appreciated. My husband and I have been coming here whenever we want a massage but we definitely need to come back more. I highly recommend this place they are so sweet! read more

*** update to owners response... I did indeed go to the right place , please see attached image for the $45 deal that they did not honor at my time checking in.... Checked out their website, the first page will tell you that they have a deal for a $45 massage offer.. got to the place and they said that they no longer honor that and that they're website was last updated 5 years ago.. i'm not sure if it was true or if they were trying to charge more out of me. I had requested a female masseuse and when I got there, they had to call in another worker for my service. The massage was very subpar, i think a massage gun would have done a better job, all she did was run down my back along my spine for about 50% of the service. She used very little oil and so it was very rough. She massaged my head but pulled on my hair at the same time,so I'd suggest keeping your hair not in a pony because they will not take it out.it was extremely painful, she saw my facial expressions and I even pulled away but she kept going. I was very unsatisfied with my experience but she then waited for me by the door and as I was leaving she tapped my shoulder and asked for a tip. I had told her that the front desk had me tip before the service started and I told her to look at the receipt. This was my second time going to this place in hopes I'd give it another chance, but no luck. I'd stay away from this place. I believe their quality has gone down after all the other 5 star reviews. read more

AMAZING massage! My sister and I both said it was one of the best massages we've ever had. We will definitely be back.

Anna was amazing she knows how to get in deep and where not to go deep. She goes off of your body, I was literally in heaven snoring lol

Massage was great, hot stone was great, place was clean..... But whyyyyyyy were we guilted into paying more on our tip?? We got there, chose our massage, the guy asked if we would like to leave a tip on the card, we do, and we go on our way. Then after our massages, we were walked to the front, given some water and smiles, and before we can reach the counter to adjust our tip..... the guy at the counter asked if it was bad because we only left a 10.00 tip in the beginning?? ..... We were asked to look at a tip chart that had a scale of 5.00 to 20.00 and emojis matching those prices from sad faces to happy faces. uhhhhhh it was crazy awkward and tacky. We left a larger tip, we had planned to already.....it was just mega awkward.... 5.00 is bad job 10.00 is nice job 15.00 is nice great job 20.00 is amazing nice great job Nice place minus the tacky tip guy at the front. read more
