They double book appointments, don't compensate customers when it's their mistake, then rush and do your nails to meet the next appt deadline only to have uneven, lumpy nails. I came in yesterday for a pedicure and acrylic overlay. They charged me extra for the coffin shape. I paid the $5 but I received a square shape. I was there for 3 hours so I left to get something to eat due to me being diabetic. I came back in today and they were so rude. I showed them my receipt with the extra cost. The man at the front examined the receipt over and over and asked me did I tell them I wanted the coffin shape. I said yes it shows on the receipt. Finally he said it would be a 20 to 30 minutes to get to me or I could come back tomorrow. Really? They were not busy as workers were walking around and talking to each other. Awesome Experience! Walked right in and was in a chair immediately. Very clean and the staff is personable. I liked how they use plastic protective covers in the pedicure bowl and change it out after each customer. They bring you nail swatches to pick your color, so you get to relax right away. My first time coming here. Enjoyed the atmosphere kind of an expensive place than what I would normally pay. Since I got a ped/manicure I picked my polish which was correct on my ped. They could not match the color to my nails since I got a shellac polish on my nails. So the colors where totally off and they used some Mood polish as well which I simply hate. I'm from out of town and heard about this place. I have gone 3 times hoping it would be better but it has not so now I refuse to go here. Long story short.....first time I legit sat there with acetone on my nails to get a manicure and dip for 1 hour, honestly I would have felt better if I stayed in the waiting area longer or they were truthful about the wait time. Second time they no lie changed my nail technician 3 times when I was there. I did not want a difficult style or anything but each technician would start dipping and then get up and go to another customer (I have never seen this done). Also the first technician who was to get my dip colors kept forgetting what number the polish was and was bringing me back the wrong one each time, if I had not been paying attention my nails would have been a color that I did not want. The last time I was there the nail technician did not talk to me at all I would ask questions and she would just say yes or no but talk to other customers seated around us. And the last thing is they never offered me a glass of their free alcoholic beverage anytime I was there but asked people around me. The only saving grace is that they have a lot of variety of dip colors and can do designs with the dip. read more

My friend and & went in on Sunday and did the deluxe pedicure and she did a gel and I did a dip polish only, no manicure. I told them I was thinking of switching to the gel because the last few dips only lasted a couple of weeks and the gel lasted longer. I was assured 100% it would last longer, that they use organic and it is so much better. Not only was my bill $85 and hers was $68.50 ($16.50 more for dip?? total rip off) it came off in less than a week. I was not told about the price difference either, nor was it posted in their book. My thumb nail popped off first so I went back in, and after arguing, they fixed it, but I wasn't home for 30 minutes and 2 more popped off. I will NOT be going back in. She burned my leg when doing the pedicure and the massage on my legs and feet for the deluxe pedicure was very mediocre. We will not be going back! Way too many better and nicer places in Memphis. read more

Best experience ever. I rarely get my nails done mostly because the few past experiences weren't that great, especially to be so pricey. But yesterday I knew it was time. So I looked up a few places near my house and my job and went with this one after seeing the reviews. When you walk in you can tell this place knows what they're doing. I waited a few minutes before actually getting started but the whole time they made sure I was not just sitting there being ignored. They offered me a drink and let me know when I'd be next. They close at 7 and I walked in around 5 (right after work). I got a dip and pedicure matching colors on hands and feet so i knew it would take some time. My technician, Anna, was amazing. She was polite and quick but not rushed. She knew what she was doing and was incredibly attentive to detail. She made me comfortable and excited to be there. Everyone in the shop really was polite and didn't talk out of the side of their necks like other nail places. I've never looked forward to getting any type of spa services done until now. They also do facials, massages, wraps and other spa treatments. I can't wait to try their other services! But if you're only looking for a nail place, look no further. I ended up here after my normal nail shop was too crowded. It's a very spacious salon and there are a lot of options in regards to scents, essential oils, and services. To be honest, though, all the different scents from the essential oils gave me a headache. I had to wait for a nail tech, which was no problem, but my water got cold before he came and no one ever offered to add hot water or ask if the temperature was okay. I felt like both my manicure and pedicure were rushed, the color wasn't applied evenly, my nails weren't cut and filed evenly, and neither one of them lasted as long as normal. I only went here because I got a gift card and they did a decent job the first time on my pedicure yet they seemed ridiculously judgmental and the lady forgot to put a top coat on my polish. The second time I went was to give it another shot and it was one of the worst experiences of all. Also, she was way too rough on my legs when massaging them (going over the same area super hard) and if happened to someone I know as well. The main guy who takes orders was rude because the first time I went, I picked a polish from the shelf and this time, when I went to the shelf to pick my color, he said "No! It's in the basket...?" as though I were stupid for not knowing. (The basket has a lot of sample colors) Lastly, I went the back way to the restroom behind where the waxing room is and this guy said "NO GO UP THERE" and made me go around the front. read more

This spa is the cleanest in Memphis. The service is wonderful, very polite and attentive. Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere and specialty herbal and organic choices. They also bring out new files so you don't have to share with others, which is a bonus. Wine and drinks are available, and I have never had to wait for service as I have at some of the other popular salons in town. They offer shellac and the new powder mani as well. I have been to MULTIPLE places to get my nails done but never really enjoyed my experience. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and my nails would always be filed crooked or painted badly and it just got me frustrated in the end. I decided to drop into Relax Nail Spa after work and I am SUPER glad I did. I had a great experience! Everyone was super nice. My nail tech (Her name tag said Van Tran) filed, painted, and trimmed my nails PERFECTLY! I have never been so happy about my nails in my life lol.
