Foot massage for two!
Andie E.

I hadn't had a reflexology foot massage in the longest time and really needed this! Maybe my expectations were a little too high, but I thought Relax Foot Spa was just "ok". It wasn't the great massage that I've had at other places and was hoping for today. But having said that, the foot massage was still good. Soooo painful....but in a very good way! lol I don't now if I'd return because there is so much competition in the area. There were three or four other places on the same block! If I'm in the area, I would probably try other places to see how they compare to Relax Foot Spa. My friend and I both had the 30 min foot massage for $20 (excluding tax & tip). Atmosphere: there is none! Not a whole lota privacy and you literally must whisper as there are people all around you, getting various massages. You can even hear the chatter from the front desk. Ohhhhh, and the most annoying is the LOUD alarm clocks they use to keep track of their time. Really, they could use an alarm that had a quieter ringer...or get one that vibrates quietly. Note: this is NOT a reflection of their employees - everyone was very professional and helpful. Ok, Everyone.....Flex 'n Crack those toes!!! :D

Over all a good experience. The place was clean. I walk in with no appointment, they took me in right away. My having a dress on was a non issue to them, my masseuse give me a large clean towel to cover up. There were times in other places that would give me a pair of their shorts, weary as to where they had been. Full one hour with first half working out all the knots from my back, really good! And I like their no cell phone sign on the wall, so I am not checking my phone. A truly relax experience!

Bad experience with the front desk person. Overcharged my credit card and didn't fix. Unfriendly and not professional.

They raised their prices for foot and back massage. They have tons of competitors not sure why they would do this. Will not be revisiting.

Will they do a foot massage on a pregnant woman? Sometimes there are restrictions. I'll be 30 weeks when I'm there. Thanks!

Reflexology is very safe, but most practitioners will not perform procedures on a pregnant woman during the first 13 weeks of her pregnancy. During this time there is a normal risk of miscarriage, and even though the treatment hasn't been associated…

Tui Na focuses on bones, blood flow and joints which is more of a chinese medical massage. It is not relaxing or comfortable. It has been a challenge finding a place to go to after Health Trail closed down. I've been to many others ever since and today I found Yuan Shi and they are what I've been searching for. I now have bad knees and back pains. I came in on a Sunday and got an hour of the Chinese full body Tui Na. Michael was my masseuse and little dude is strong. He was able to pinpoint all my pain areas and proceeded to roll, press, stretch and kneed it to death. The more squirming I did and wincing from pain, the harder he went. I wanted to stop showing my pain just so he would stop sometimes. But as the guy at Health Trail said, "No pain, No gain". The timer went off after and hour and he continued working my back for another 5 minutes. I really appreciated it, as he knew I was in need of this session. 1 hour was $50, and I tipped $20. He really earned every dollar. Im sore from the bruising but my back pains are relieved right now. I'm considering buying the certificate. 10 sessions for $500 upfront and comes with 3 free massages. This seems really worth it in my opinion. I'm definitely coming back again.

We all agreed the technique was amazing (if you like it strong, deep pressure). And the price can't be beat. We would've been there twice a day if we didn't have other plans! Waiting area very clean and comfortable, spa like music playing in the background. I came here before about 8 years or so, things looked a little different but for the better. Yuni was my masseuse. Very petite and polite woman but man is she strong! She lead me to our room in the basement (I read another review that said it was cold and dark, not sure if that was 49th St.). Room was very comfortable and music softly playing in the background (review said that music was pumped/loud). She stated with a dry massage, with the blanket, and went into the official oil massage. Yuni definitely knows what she is doing because I didn't need to tell her about my problem spots she hit them right away! I was surprised at her strength and she literally almost had me so relaxed, I could have drooled while on the table. She did full back, legs, hips and arms. She didn't have me flip over but I got exactly what I needed so I felt no way about that. When she was done, she thanked me and I proceeded to get dressed and be on my way. Paid cash and left tip with the cashier and left feeling so relaxed. Convinced that this will be a monthly occurrence for me as it is so close to work and cost effective. Great job Snowflakes!

Place was clean- not fancy but clean. I had Amy (maybe Annie) and she was fantastic. Very thorough and good massage. Took her time and did entire body and even added in hot stones!! At 10 hours, you're supposed to get an hour free. So I booked a 90 min minute massage for today at 4:30pm, expecting the last 60 minutes to be free. I tried to check this with the front desk in the start but I was told to not worry about it until the end. Apparently because I booked 90 minute sessions in the past on my card, those apparently only counted as 60 minutes for the purposes of the card. The attitude of the lady at the front desk made me feel belittled and ruined the experience. Worse yet, after I left and checked the time, I realized I only got 60 minutes. Basically I paid for a 90 minute massage and received a 60 minute massage when I should have paid for 30 minutes and received 90 minutes. I basically overcharged by $85 today...
