Hidden between two well-known Italian restaurants in Little Italy in NYC, Zia Maria and La Nonna. Follow these steps to get to the spot. 1. Type in Zia Maria in maps. 2. Get on the elevator. 3. Press 2 to access the second floor. 4. ECCO! You've arrived. This place is small so make sure to make a reservation as opposed to walk-in. They'll take you but, you might have to wait. I opted for the feet massage option for 45 minutes and costed $35. My friend did a combo of back and feet. There was a surprise if you're getting a back massage. Not that type of surprise but, you'll be surprised. I don't know this guys name but he did his thing. He went all in and gave the best deep massage. My feet felt better after the session. I would definitely recommend. read more

Maybe the best massage I've ever had. Wish I lived here - I would come back all the time! I just randomly walked in, but first saw I was able to book online, which is nice. Not fancy of course for the price, but clean, and great deal for a great job. My back feels so much better. read more

Relax Station - Reflexology Near Me - New York, New York

Horrible experience The foot massage took place in the front where people were walking in and out waiting for their appointment and talking loudly one of the staff members giving a massage was on the phone speakers on screaming into the phone The guy that did my massage rubbed so hard and used a sharp stone 90%of the time digging in to my feet it was less of a massage and more of a just straight up painful experience And the noise environment made it difficult to relax even more will not be returning read more

No frills here, but clean, nice staff, great location, inexpensive and good service. Recommend.

What an awesome massage!! Great location! Felt safe and NO Happy nothings!! Upstairs 138 Mulberry street. Very clean and comfortable and love the hot stones!!! read more

Relax Station - Safe and clean with excellent Massuse's!! - Reflexology Near Me - New York, New York

Very good pressure point knowledge, accurate strength(not going hard on certain places and softer on other places or right arm is stronger than left arm, very consistent), and easy to ask for harder or softer. He knew exactly where my sore points were and went ham on them (went hard) until they were gone and I was free from pain at last! Definitely recommend! Note: they have massage "chairs" where you're face down outside in lobby and no need to take off clothes, can do quick massage and go without hassle of getting dressed and undressed, etc. read more

Relax Station - The older guy, definitely recommend him as your masseuse. Knows his pressure points on my tiny back! - Reflexology Near Me - New York, New York

I greatly enjoy an oil massage and have had hundreds all over the world. Naturally, they have ranged in quality, but most have been in an "acceptable" (3-4 star) range with a few outstanding (5 star) experiences. Unfortunately, this one was truly disappointing. The female therapist (I did not ask her name) seemed disinterested from the start. Maybe she was tired from a long day (it was 7 PM on a Sunday). She didn't actually put her hands onto my body very much. She mostly rubbed some hard instrument on me that had almost no therapeutic effect. She also addressed maybe 40-50% of the areas that masseuses typically work on. Overall a mediocre experience and I certainly won't be coming back. read more

Owner Joe is great, he knows how to hit your pain spots with gentleness yet strength to relax your whole body. And he always find ways to satisfy customer's needs. One of the best message spots in NYC. Highly recommend. read more

I've been going to the same masseuse Joe for the last 10 years. I go wherever he goes. Currently he is working at Relax Station Back Rub and Foot Massage in Chinatown. I have headaches and migraines often ever since I gave birth and Joe helped to massage my shoulder and neck to loosen the muscles and inflammation. He knows exactly what he needs to do to get the knots out! I cannot explain the joy I have without headaches in life! Place is clean, affordable prices! Simple but that's all you need sometimes! Loved this place for a Thurs night de-stress - massages are my thing for calming down and also keeping healthy as stimulating the circulation does wonders. Love the staff here - they are so nice! Felt super safe too! Please support this business, it's a wonderful hidden gem. They are open late which is great if I'm having an off night and just want to unwind. read more

I got a great massage, the masseuse do the hard work,I feel my sore neck more looser .

This place was such a small hole in the wall we found in Chinatown but sometimes the best things are found very out of the way. There was barely enough room for you to squeeze by to go to the back and bathroom which was not inside the business but will seem to be a community bathroom for several businesses. But the staff was very good at what they did. We got foot rubs and They were one of the best we've ever had. read more

I really enjoyed my foot rub/massage. This place does amazing back and foot rubs. The acupressure with reflexology that's done here is absolutely wonderful. I was very pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend to anyone. The pricing can't be beat!!!! I have never paid so little for so much! I gladly gave a generous tip for receiving spectacular service. I got 40 minutes for feet massage and 20 minutes back massage all for $40!!! What??? Yeah! read more

A friend and I were in Little Italy looking for a lunch place when we walked by the spa. A gentleman outside was enticing people to come in for massage and we both were in need a foot massage. We walked in, they were very friendly and the gentleman and told us it would be a few minutes. We both took a seat in the foot massage chair and waited for about 10 minutes before they could call in more masseuse as the ones onsite were already serving customers...some with chair massages and others foot. I ended up with a female probably in her 60s who was very friendly. I'm not sure how much English she spoke but she was very pleasant each time we made eye contact. She gave a fantastic foot massage and at times I thought I was going to cry. I do know the more it hurts, the better it'll feel the next day so I endured it. It was really $25 for 30 minutes as advertised (plus a tip) and we were very pleased. My friend ended up getting the 30 minute foot massage and 10 minute back massage for $30. For the back massage, they took her to the back room and actually gave her a hot stone massage. My friend said it was more than 40 minutes and she expected to be charged extra for the hot stone but they did not. She was more than pleased and her massage was $30 plus tip. Definitely worth a stop! read more

Worse customer service ever! Rude and obnoxious women as receptionist was their first mistake. So can't imagine the foot massage being any good. Masseuses are not on premise, they outsource them from outside so you'd have to wait if you walk in. Don't have time like that to waste on shitty service! read more

according to their card, this place is called: Relaxing Station NYC, Inc. with the log line: Back Rub & Foot Rub but it's listed here as So Relax. So be it! either way, it's been here for years and it's a great, cheap pop-in kind of chinese qi-gong massage spot. i had a headache after a long flight, and 15 minutes in the chair had me well on my way to feeling better. they take the chair massage thing to a really special place, even hitting knees and legs and arms, and in 15 minutes the woman was able to hit my entire body. if shopping has gotten you down and you want a cheap, quick and satisfying massage, try this spot! read more

i was waiting for my bf to get a haircut so i decided to treat myself to a foot rub nearby. google maps told me this place had pretty good reviews and wow! i was not disappointed. the man who a lot of people took pictures of was my masseuse and he was AMAZING. he knew every pressure point, and it didn't feel like just a "nice massage." it felt like a genuine acupressure massage. i chose the 30 minute foot rub and it was $25. definitely a hidden gem -- really easy to miss this point since it's tucked away between restaurants! highly highly recommend, i'll be back next week for a back rub. and i can't wait! read more

Ask for Zhang. He's great! I've been doing 30 min chair massage and 30 min foot rub with him and I couldn't be more pleased. I find that a lot of places are either to soft or to hard and he's the happy medium. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is that the place could be a bit nicer. It's a little to bright and grungy. And the prices are a bit weird. The "combo" for a 30 min back rub and 30 min foot rub is more expensive then the services separately. read more

If you're looking for a no-nonsense massage at a really great price ($10 for 10 minutes up to $26 for 30 minutes on a chair) and you don't care about ambiance or peaceful surroundings or spa-like serenity, this place is for you. The lights are bright - like REALLY bright, not just bright for a massage place. There's a row of chairs facing a big mirror so it's likely you'll be seated next to a stranger if it's full. There are always about three people ready to massage. I have my favorites. I'll try to get their names and update, but I know there's a lady who I usually get who provides the perfect deep massage without being too painful. There's also a dude there that they always assign to my husband, and he says it's borderline sadistic, as though he's taking out some internal aggression on his clients. So if you're into that, make sure to request the man! The only time I didn't have a great masseuse was when it was really full and they gave me an older lady who was just too gentle. If I'm sitting face down in a harshly lit room in Chinatown, I want the good stuff! I live so close to this spot that I can drop in in my sweats whenever I'm feeling sore or stressed. So make sure to say hello if you see me - I'm a regular! read more

I went here after reading the other Yelp reviews, and I was pleased, but not blown away. First, my massage wasn't very relaxing- it was effective, so I left happy (my shoulders felt like they were about three inches lower than usual), but they reeeeeally dig into your muscles. My masseuse's hands were freakishly strong for a tiny little Asian lady. But as long as you're expecting it, it would be fine. Other than that, I thought that $28 (including tax) was a little pricey for a 30-minute massage- I feel like I've had other massages in Chinatown for half the price. I think it seemed a little expensive because in other places I've been to (blanking on the name right now), I sat in a much comfier massage chair that was in a back room with music playing. Here, there was basically zero atmosphere- bright lights, chairs lined up where passers-by can watch you, and no music. Which would be fine if it were half the price. For $30, I'd appreciate some cheesy new age spa music. All in all, I think I'd try another place before returning here. PS- I think it may cost less if you pay cash, but couldn't really understand what the staff was trying to tell me. So if you can, bring cash. read more

At 10pm when I was getting my foot massage I was a fan. This place is open late and bare bones in china town. However, perfect if you have been walking all day and not use to it. Although I am a fan of foot massages in general and frequent in my home town and we drive everywhere. If you are in New York and need a late night foot massage this place is great, firm pressure and good price. I had called a couple places and found there prices to be offensive. I do remember there sign possibly being a different name than there yelp name. read more

Relax, it's magic. The people at So Relax / Relax Station are some of the nicest and most skilled people in Chinatown. If I'm feeling even a little bit of tension in my shoulders or back, they know exactly which spots to hit and I leave feeling amazing. I'm partial to their chair massages. I used to be a full body kind of guy, but lots of places use lotion that irritates my skin and I hate feeling sticky and gross after a massage. Chairs get the job done without too much preparation before or discomfort after. During my last stop, my guy even did a bit of chiropractic work, giving my neck and back a few pops that left me feeling so light and refreshed. I honesty can't say how much I love this place and their massages. Don't let the storefront fool you; this station is super legit. read more

I've been stopping by this place for nearly 4 years. Each time I'm in town, I go out of my way to get down to the Relax Station for a chair massage. They have 5 or 6 chairs and I have never had to wait. Their prices are the best I've ever seen. $26 for a 30-minute chair massage. Their massage therapists always know how to work out the knots and give a great massage. They also do foot massages. Highly recommend it in the Chinatown area! read more

Another place with really bad massage. I came from Asia, I know what good Chinese massage is, but this shop, same as the other shop that I reviewed a few weeks ago, really gave bad massage, totally not effective, ended up wasting time and money. I did neck and shoulder massage sitting on the massage chair, 30min later, I left without feeling anything. No skill, no strength. To all americans and tourists who visited Chinatown NYC for massage, be careful to go to the right ones, many shop like this are almost like tricking people to think that it is a traditional Chinese massage, but really it is NOT what a good Chinese massage should be. I am still amazed that why shops like this can continue to exist. This review is for neck and shoulder massage only. read more

I've been going to this place for almost 5 years. It's definitely not a spa atmosphere. It's quite utilitarian with several chairs for back massages and several chairs for foot massages. But, for bang for your buck, this place is hard to beat. I usually go for the combination special, which is 15 minutes back massage and 15 minutes foot reflexology. The Chinese-style massage is quite strong but very effective. read more

First time, my girlfriend and I walked in near closing and received excellent foot and back massages. Both therapists were male and very strong. The massages were deep and intense, but I never felt any pain. Reasonable prices. I stopped into So Relax after dinner in Little Italy for a quick foot and back massage. When I walked in there were several male therapists and one female therapist - the female was the one that worked on me. Both the foot and the back massage were just so so - the massage therapist did not have strong hands and I felt like I was getting a rub vs a massage and I was no more relaxed when I left than when I arrived. To add insult to the total lack of massage, I was charged about $10 extra for using my credit card to pay for services. This definitely made the trip a waste of money and time. read more
