If you're looking for a cheap but highly effective massage in Manhattan, don't look anywhere else. Every couple of months, my partner and I come here for a couples massage. Best bang for your buck! The masseuse will always ask for your pressure preference, which is great. Any of the masseuse we've had have been great and responsive to our feedback. The ambiance is so soothing and relaxing in here. The music comes so close to putting me to sleep in the best possible way. read more

I did the 75 minute massage today (60 min body, 15 min foot) and it was amazing. The place is busy but was able to accommodate me even without a reservation. They offered me water at the conclusion of my massage. I would highly recommend since the prices are extremely reasonable and the service was great. read more

No idea how this place has such a high rating. I came a while back and it was sketchy. You have to walk up a few floors to checkin and there's a bunch of people sitting around who I thought were customers but they're actually the massage therapists who look like grandmas and construction workers. You get brought up to another floor where the beds are just separated by curtains, not walls. I'd never come back here read more

It's not a fancy place but it's clean, and the people are very nice. We walked in on a weekday morning. Eason and Eva worked on my husband and me, respectively, and we both liked our massages. We tend to prefer deep tissue but they can adjust pressure as you like. I believe we had the 90 min combo (full hr body + 30 min foot massage). Other reviews mention Annie, Abby, William, Lulu, Yoyo - people there in general - being good, so I hope you find the massages here to your liking! read more

Overall, it was an okay experience. I was a walk-in and they were able to accommodate me fairly quickly. I was asked to pay before massage which I found strange. My masseuse was friendly and applied fairly decent pressure throughout the massage. She had good touch but did not feel as organized as I am used to. There were parts that were great and other times it felt like she was just going through the motions. The other issue was the table squeaks a lot. Any deep press or hard movements and the table starts making noise and you can feel it shaking. It takes away from relaxation. read more

This is one of the best places to get a massage in the city. It's more of a therapeutic style massage so if you have pain or tension anywhere this will help get rid of that!! It's so relaxing yet healing at the same time!! Warning you will probably be sore after LOL. But give it a few days and you'll feel like you have a new body! read more

I am so sad to write this review. I have been a regular customer here for years and today's experience was terrible. I was clear throughout the one hour massage that I needed work on my back and it should be firm. I was met with the gentle rub of oil on my back for the most boring and frustrating hour of my life. If I didn't have oil all over me I would have gotten up after 10 minutes. When I checked out, no one asked me how my service was and the masseuse hovered waiting for her tip. This is a stark contrast from my other review from nearly 20 years ago. Needless to say I won't be rushing back! read more

This place is a hidden gem! I have gotten many massages before & this place does a damn superb job at it! Prices were so affordable and very reasonable & the masseuse were strong & knew what they were doing. I like that they let you choose the gender of your masseuse. We had the pleasure of having lisa & yoyo as our masseuse. We each did a 90 minute massage (60 minute deep tissue massage + 30 minute foot massage) for $75. Such a great deal! Don't forget to tip your masseuse well because they work hard. They hit every knot on our back, even ones I didn't knew existed. Place was very clean. The place is not fancy and you can hear your next door neighbor talking. But I really highly recommend this place to get affordable strong massages! read more

Had a couples massage and enjoyed the full body medium massage. My therapist got all my knots out that I've had trouble with relieving at other places. Recommend it if you need body recovery. I will say it's not the most luxurious experience. I would book a regular individual massage instead of couples because the therapists kept speaking to each other which made it hard to relax. The rooms are just individual curtains. I would have preferred if they played the music louder and didn't speak so I could fully relax. That being said, they got out every single knot and I left feeling like jelly. For the price if you're willing to forgo ambiance definitely try it out. Just don't take someone here for a special occasion :) read more

"Oh yeah, yeeeaaahhh that feels good... thank you, thank you!" is the first thing I heard during my full body massage from the room next door, and quite frankly, I was jealous. I had to ask for therapeutic music because all I could hear was someone else's experience a few feet over. No, they didn't already have calming spa like sounds in this 'Renew Day Spa' . I also didn't appreciate being so far in the back with the window open and smelling cigarette smoke during my massage. Open windows for ventilation, I can dig, but to inhale cigarette smoke during my massage on the 2nd floor? I don't dig. Did it look and smell and clean? Yes, but not as new-looking as the their location a few blocks down that I accidentally went to first (seems to be the renovated or newer location). My masseuse had on a mask the entire time which was great. Was my masseuse nice? Yes, very kind. Ladies at the desk who took my payment after service were just darling. Did I feel like I still had a cramp in my neck back and thighs from a 26 hour flight as if I never got massages at all? Absolutely. I told her ahead of time what the deal was. She spent a long time on my neck when I told her all parts that were bothering me. It was more of a neck and back massage with a sprinkle of leg and 10 seconds of foot massage (if that!). I truly believe you have to tell people what you want in order to get it, but she was making me work too hard in telling her how to do her job that I felt I needed to invoice them. So, I gave up and before I knew it, the hour was over and I was, well, underwhelmed. I'm typically not the one to question someone's profession, but it really appeared as though she may not have been trained to the point of licensing/certification or had very little experience. Two stars for niceness/cleanliness, although I just remembered they never took my temperature or asked me anything about my exposure to COVID or if I had any health issues that would affect the massage. I know I'm safe but they didn't. The only thing they asked is if I wanted a man or woman, which I guess is nice, but I personally need more questions whether pre or post COVID. Then again, it was a $45 massage and I had limited choices since I was staying in that area...Hmm. Don't think I will return. read more

Are the massages the kind you leave your clothes on or is this like a stay in your underwear type of massage? My husband and I want a massage with the oil and the stones but just wanted to check to make sure this was this kind of place.

Its done in your underwear and I had to lay on my stomach the entire time.

Do they offer couples massages? If so, how much are they?

You can have 2 people in a room. It would be $40 pp for an hour

Yuni definitely knows what she is doing because I didn't need to tell her about my problem spots she hit them right away! I was surprised at her strength and she literally almost had me so relaxed, I could have drooled while on the table. She did full back, legs, hips and arms. Been hitting this place for over a year. Received a free 15 minute massage card on my first visit for writing a Yelp review. After being encouraged by the front desk staff to 'save it for next visit' time and time again, I finally decided to APPLY the time today. Let's just say, it created confusion. Has anyone ever used this 'gift card', or were you also encouraged to continuously carry it around?! My 30 minute foot, 30 minute chair massage (bonus +15 minutes added to feet for a total of 45 minutes) was very good. After finishing on the lower level, I remembered I forgot to get my loyalty card (don't know what else to call it) stamped and hauled back up to the upper level. The request for the forgotten stamp was met with more confusion by the front desk and a big song and dance that they do not provide stamps for the 30/30 foot/chair combo. Not sure how I've collected all these stamps on my loyalty cards, every service with the exception of three full body massages were from the 30/30 foot/chair combo for $55 (photo attached). Noted this to the woman at the front desk only to receive further song and dance. Irritating experience. May I suggest you stop offering loyalty and free 15 minute massage cards if you're going to jerk people around when they try to use them and/or try to say the service they selected isn't eligible. Time to find a new place. read more

I recently treated myself to a day of relaxation at Renew Day Spa and it was absolutely heavenly! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, instantly putting me at ease. The spa itself is a tranquil oasis, beautifully designed and impeccably clean. The ambiance is so calming, it immediately transports you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I indulged in a massage and facial package, and both treatments were sheer bliss. The therapists were highly skilled and attentive to my needs, ensuring I felt completely pampered from head to toe. In addition to the luxurious treatments, the amenities at Renew Day Spa are top-notch. I loved lounging in the relaxation area, sipping on herbal tea and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, my experience at Renew Day Spa was nothing short of perfection. If you're in need of some self-care and rejuvenation, I highly recommend paying them a visit. You won't be disappointed! read more

Ive been here several times now, and as a fellow yelper mentioned, I really want myself to like this place.... But I just can't. I give this place 2 stars because some of tr masseuses there (probably only 2 of the 13 who work there) are decent with foot massages. I'm a massage junkie.. I can tell right away if the person working on me is good or bad and I can tell you a lot of the masseuses here are still learning because their techniques....suck!!!! You guys should be paying me for the frustration I endured while getting two back massages! I had to teach them in return how and where to massage. I normally take a lot of pressure but one time it was Way too light and the second time the guy wasnt giving me a massage he wanted to break my bones. Oh and FYI the separation between your "room" and outside is a curtain. The entire time I was getting a massage I was worried that someone might slip their hands through the curtain and take my bag. read more

I recently indulged in the 75-minute Body, Foot & Head combo at Renew Day Spa, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the tranquil ambiance, which set the stage for total relaxation. The session started with a deeply soothing 45-minute body massage that melted away all my tension, followed by 15 minutes of focused foot therapy that eased every ache. The final 15 minutes of head massage were the perfect finishing touch, leaving me in a state of pure bliss. The therapists are truly skilled, attentive, and professional, ensuring a top-tier experience from start to finish. I left feeling completely refreshed and can't wait to return--this is a must-try for anyone in need of a reset! read more

Probably the most legit/cheapest/ no frills spa place in the city! This place is a hole in the wall however its clean and always packed. Be sure to call in advance to book an appointment! I called in a few hours before I wanted to go in, and was able to snag 2 spots for myself and my bf. Full body massages are $36 excluding tip. You have the option of choosing a female or male masseuse - this is totally in your discretion. It's an hour long massage and apparently if you check in on yelp you get an additional 10 minutes (which I totally missed). For an easy no frills place and if you don't mind the trek to Chinatown, this place is definitely a must go to for your achy back and neck pains. read more

Walking in to Renew spa today and got my massage today, since this is my first time here, I asked for one hour foot massage, the guy who working on me was really good, after I finish, I feel like I'm walking on the air, so I ask him to give me one more hour for my body massage to complete my day, and I know I did the right thing after that one hour, not only he was very nice enough to check on me about the pressure he apply, he also really working on my tired muscle, nice job guy! Oh....I also find out when I getting my foot massage, they have a CHECK- IN offer additional 15mins free when you get one hour body massage! I think this is a most amazing deal I haven't have in years!! read more

I'll like to start this review off by thanking Yelp for hooking it up with the extra 15 minutes! Might not seem a lot, but you'll appreciate it when the clock closes in on an hour. Place is very tiny, and dark. Don't get scared though because it was actually clean and the people that worked there were so nice! They speak little english, so expect some trouble in that department. I'm sure you can jsut point to where it hurts, and how much stronger you want it. We got hot stones with our massage, which was amazing! 36+tip for 75 minutes?! Anytime, anywhere... Enjoy! read more

If you looking for quality massage so i would recommend everyone this is the only place. This spa is pretty clean and their therapist are very professional with great massage techniques. Yesterday was my second time i tried Allen, in the beginning of our session i told him I'm suffering from one side back pain. I got CBD oil with hot stone and it was pretty awesome. He did great job with his magical hands. The hot stone was cherry on top. Overall, the feel-good experience. They deserve five star. When I tell you coming here changed my life, it did. I will never go back to an American style spa after coming here for the first time. I had Joanne and my cousin had Tammy and we had such a good time. Usually American places warn you when they're about to do something or move anything, but no, they go into TOWN on you. You might get a tint bit exposed here and there, but I honestly did not mind it at all. I have never had my back cracked the way Joanne did before. This is what I needed before leaving NY after all the walking around I have done. read more

this place is a great New York deal we discovered it about 5 months ago and have been back each time we get into the city. We get the hour long foot rub for $22 and the massage $36 / hr. The masseuses are not pros but good enough for the price. We haven't had anyone on the phone and find it a quiet place and relaxing. when getting the body massage you have to ask for lotion. The men use a lot of pressure so the massage can be painful if you don't ask them to do halfway pressure. The ladies do an awesome job. The staff is very nice Thanks! read more

Today is the second time I came here with my 2 friends. On both times we had the 60 minute body massage with hot stones and half hour foot massage and we were extremely satisfied on both times. The price is very reasonable. No hidden charges. If you want to add extra minutes on the massages the price is also very reasonable. The place is very clean. The receptionists are very polite and very welcoming. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends. read more

For the 3rd week in a row, I went back for another massage last weekend and it was as consistently as excellent as the 1st massage I had 3 weeks ago! I like that the owners post the notice about "No Hanky Panky" because it had personally made me feel more comfortable that I'd be expecting a professional massage -- and that was what I've been enjoying ever since I discovered this place. I'm going for my 4th massage today (Aug 7)!!! Thank you. Sam read more

This was one of the best massages i've ever received. The masseuse was very attentive to my needs, and used the perfect amount of pressure during my massage.
