Fishion has recently upgraded and renovated, and I'm so impressed! They still have the same management and skilled masseuses, and now they also offer Facial Acupuncture, Gua Sha facials, and eyelash extensions. I've been a customer for 16years, and I just tried Facial Acupuncture last week with Dr. Mary, along with the Deep Lymphatic Drainage Gua Sha Facial with Amy. I had an amazing experience with both services. Dr. Mary was very attentive and really listened to my needs, she treated both my face and body with acupuncture. After the session, my complexion looked more radiant, and even my sinus issues improved a lot. Amy is also extremely experienced. Her Gua Sha technique was precise, and after the treatment, my facial contours looked more lifted and my skin felt brighter and smoother. They're currently offering 20% off, and I've already booked my next appointment. Highly recommended!!! read more

I had my first acupuncture session with Dr. Zhong. He listened, took time to understand the issue and thoroughly checked me before applying the needles. I left feeling 100% better than I went in and I can't wait to return. The space itself is nice and clean and looks fairly recently updated. read more

clean place. but the Massause spend 15 mins on my neck and the rest of my 1 hour massage massaging my back with his forearm. I had to ask him to use his fingers. he ignored my legs and front body. I shouldn't haven't to ask when it's a full body and don't take the easy way out by using your forearm the whole time. read more

Pros: Called at 2pm on a Saturday for 4pm that same day and they fit me in no problem. $78 for 60 minutes full body massage and 30 minutes reflexology (small discount for paying with cash) Clean Nice staff No frills but nice enough ambiance Very strong massage therapist if that's what you're looking for Comfortable massage tables and chairs Cons: The reflexology was okay but not enough time was spent on the areas that were most tense I told the masseuse (a nice man named Hunter) where I had the most tension for the full body massage and it felt like he spent most of the 60 minutes on that and randomly on one spot on my back Had to ask him to use lotion...I've had lots of massages and never once had to request lotion or oil... Too much elbow work and he didn't turn me over onto my back at all to massage my front Can hear everything in the other rooms No one asked if I had a preference for male or female, how much pressure I wanted, etc Way too much time was spent massaging over the towel I did speak up a few times ie asking for lotion and to ask for less pressure but it didn't really make the experience better. Overall, I was excited to come here as it was recommended to me and I was disappointed by my experience. I came in hoping for a relaxing and therapeutic massage but this was not that, so I'm a little frustrated, even with the pros of the spot. The reflexology was definitely more relaxing than the massage, and I would consider going back but with a different masseuse. read more

Fishion - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

FORGET THE REST I have been a client of FISHION since their grotty former premises further up Mott Street (over 17 years & counting). I have tried hundreds of foot massage clinics -- in New York, San Francisco, London, Amsterdam, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Thailand, Sydney, Berlin and more. Fashion remains one of my top choices and preferred location in New York. Why? They know what the hell they are doing. About the only "negatives" you have to know what you want when you are going in. And you need to be very clear if the pressure is not to you liking. What do I mean? I know that I like a "stronger" massage, a long massage and consistent pressure. Why those three things? Many therapists start off strong & Peter out. Some therapists hand pressure is like lukewarm dishwater (useless!). And others just shouldn't be in the profession. MOST therapists at FISHION are pretty good. The receptionist listens -- and you need to be firm on what you want (and, sometimes, patient to get the right therapist) I have had foot massages at FISHION and body massages. Not only are have they been excellent, the therapy is consistently good and has "saved me" numerous times (ending early onset of cold / fluey feelings, sore feet, back pain, wrist pain etc) Most businesses have good days and bad days. And, for a consistently "damn good experience"? FISHION is the only choice for my friend, partner and I in New York. read more

Wonderful deal for a strong massage at a clean, organized place in Chinatown. Would recommend!

I almost don't want to leave this review out of fear that others will discover Fishion.... but if you are looking for a fantastic value, HARD massage, it is unbelievable. I've been probably 10 times and each time they are timely, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about massage. read more

So this was my first time here and first time getting an acupressure massage. My masseuse's name was Lucy. I literally didn't have to say anything. I wanted to give full trust for the whole "acupressure process" and honestly, she did not disappoint! She went over my whole body and went straight to my tight areas. She even did great applying the perfect pressure to the exact spot that gives me the most pain on most days. This was the first time I ever received a massage where I wasn't squirming because it tickled lol. I was relaxed throughout the whole service. Lucy did her thang lol definitely recommend this place! Also, if you never been in this area before (like me), it has many restaurants around and with happy hour All around great experience! read more

Amazing. Extremely friendly. Extremely informative. They turned the lights off while I and other people were getting foot massages. It was so calming. The price www great. Bring cash for the cheaper rate. The bathroom was very clean. No frills. They use Vaseline to massage feet, but regardless, I'll go back again. read more

Fishion - Price list - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

Great place! Been coming here for a few years now and decided to leave a review due to the consistent great service. The front desk is very attentive and friendly. They are also very urgent and focused on their customers. Masseuses are the real deal here and are a real help. All of them communicate really well but again front desk team is super helpful and accommodating in case anything needs to be clarified. This is also probably the best price in the area for such solid quality of massage and customer experience. Definitely recommend this place! read more

OMG! This place is magical. Jackie was superb. I have esteemed tightness in my upper back. I pointed to the painful areas and like a technician he methodically worked my pressure points and loosened up my muscles. The price? Unbeatable. The skill? Unmatched by these other massage chains. Loved it. I will be back. I will ask for Jackie again. read more

From what I understand, the therapist you get is the real indicator of the experience you will have here. I've had one pretty good massage, and one dangerously bad one. Unfortunately, to protect my fellow consumers, I've got to give Fishion 2 stars. I didn't get the woman's name, in part because I was still disoriented from the experience when I checked out. The massage was haphazard and disorganized, not following any of the methodologies or general protocols I've experienced from years of getting them. Everyone knows it's imperative to avoid the spine during a massage and here's this woman using her elbow on mine and then giggling when I pointed it out. Still sore - and not in a good way - three days later. Strongly suggest scouring the comments here for the all-stars. Good luck! read more

BEST THERAPEUTIC NO FRILLS CHINA TOWN GEM I highly recommend this no frills China town message, acupuncture and herb center! I have been coming here since 1998 and each time, it is a great experience with quality therapists. Their prices are so great that one can surely justify $45 an hour massage to fit into your schedule more frequently! I had an hour long reflexology foot treatment yesterday with Bella and it was amazing. This center is extremely therapeutic with the best Chinese healers in all of NCY so it's no surprise that the Fishion Therapy Center is rated so highly in reviews by multiple sources including a top pick for Time Out New York Magazine. I wish to reiterate that this is a low key no frills atmosphere that won't disappoint the most discerning body work snob who splendors in real deal Chinese therapies! read more

Service: Foot Reflexology 60 minutes I am surprised I am not able to give 5 stars for this experience. Since this shop is a well-known place in Chinatown. Cons: 1. The water was not hot water at all. At least it's cold already. - I went to bathroom to deal with tampon since I am on period. When I come out the water is not hot at all. Maybe it's warm in the beginning but still. I told them I had to use the bathroom beforehand... Maybe they were able to wait a little bit to get the hot water? Or simply just heat up the water more? Or this is the punishment for customer who was not able to start "on-time"? I was an "walk-in" but still if you can tell me that beforehand maybe I could decide not to go to bathroom before session. 2. The massage therapist is simply not culture competent. I don't like to tell people where I am from. Since the answer it's not a clear cut. I always said:" My family is from Taiwan, and I am here for a long time." And he said: "Oh still so you are Chinese." I was not in a mood of education or trying to explain where I am from. But come on man, this is New York and a lot of people walking with a complicated background. And you must know this is a sensitive topic. Please don't bring it up if you can't handle it well. Maybe next time I should let them know I am able to speak fluent Mandarin. The experiences will probably be a little different. 3. They use paper towel to dry my "already dry" feet. Think about how you will feel if somebody is using paper towel to rub against your "already dry" feet. I felt sand paper was rubbing against my leg. Other places I have been they used hot steam towel and then dry towel. That felt nicer. Pros: 1. They are doing real reflexology points. Professional regarding pressing at correct points. Some places will just make your feet feel comfortable but not really pressing at points. 2. The space is very clean. 3. The front desk staff is very friendly. 4. The design of the space is simple modern not too overly ancient China that kind of stuffs. Overall, with their price is slightly higher comparing to other places, I expected that they should do much better. read more

The lady who gave me a massage was super good!!! One of the best massages that I have ever gotten. Her name she said was Coco. This place was recommended by one of our friends, and I am so glad that I was able to go. I would like to get a longer one next time!!! read more

Always ask for Jimmy but when he hasn't been available the other masseuses are still better than any other place I've been. I'm scared of acupuncture but have a lot of friends that go here for that & say it's effective. They seem to have a lot more medical knowledge than most of these places read more

Love love this place. I have been to many expensive spas all over the country and this place may not b fancy but no one holds a candle compared to Fishion. The massage therapist are amazing. Do yourself a favor and get some stress relief asap. read more

Affordable and the staff is very professional and knows what they are doing!! I would def recommend.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT go here. I was in physical pain during and after. The worst massage I have ever gotten, and I'd hardly even call what I had done to me a massage. I felt like I paid to get put through 45 minutes of pain. My spine feels like someone took a bat to it. Aside from that, it isn't clean and the place is SO loud. I could hear workers eating and laughing during my massage. No oil was used, and I was miserable the entire time. So weird and gross. DO NOT GO. I'd give 0 stars if I could. They have a sign that says "no refunds" and I guess it's because they know people will want a refund after going here. What a waste of money and time. I'll be getting another massage elsewhere to hopefully heal what these people did to me. Sad excuse for a massage. read more

Went back for round "2" with John. He was nothing short of amazing as a person and a masseuse. John was a orthopedic surgeon in China and truly understands anatomy. I have frequented every parlor in town and John has exceeded my expectations. John did some stretching, acupressure, and cupping built. Into the massage. He has great communication and pointed out the areas that needed extra work. For John's regulars, it would come as no surprise when I say he is simply the best. Note: John is appointment only and leaves before 5 pm due to travel. At my first appointment he gave me a card with his cell so I can text him for the next one. read more

I recently got a massage here. The lady was very kind and helpful. The massage itself was painful because I was very tight and tense, but I felt so good after my massage! Would totally return here again! read more

Amazing. Clean, comfortable environment for a therapeutic massage. Very easy to make a Sunday afternoon appointment with a kind and accommodating reception desk. Massage with Coco was wonderful. Painful at times (as deep tissue massage can be) but she took to make sure I let her know when some movement was too uncomfortable. Price can't be beat ($48 cash price for a one hour massage; $51 with card) and honestly, I think this is the best-kept secret in Chinatown. read more

For the price you cannot beat this place. i've been here many times and always got a good massage. wheather it's a foot massage or full body. recently i went and got a one hour massage and just had him work in my neck and shoulders. it's a therapeutic massage so not relaxing but my tight shoulders and neck felt so much better afterwards. read more

Fishion is a hidden gem and David is the greatest masseuse I've ever had. Genuinely. David is strong and astute and I've been visiting him for over 10 years. He has worked his expertise on every significant injury I've had from endurance sports like cycling, snowboarding and motocross, as well as combat sports like working in the fashion industry in Midtown. David's 90 minute acupressure massage is life changing, and with a little self-awareness and communication about your own needs I'm sure you will feel the same way. The shop's new location is easily accessible by train, next to Canal St. shopping and plenty of excellent restaurants. read more

New location! Yay! It's on 83 Mott street now. Brand new and on the 2nd floor. Same price and the same team but much better place. Went there today with my mom and we were as always was very pleased with my massage and acupuncture. I used to not care about the place (no thrills but clean) itself because the quality of service has been outstanding (for the $ you spend) but now the place itself is an upgrade. Loving it. Nice job Fishion! read more

I really love this place - hidden gem of Chinatown! I have been going there for about 4 years. Shiatsu can be a bit painful, but I trust my masseuse to find tension in my body and release it. It is not a fancy place, but clean and comfy. Close your eyes, breath properly and do not be shy to let the masseuse know if they need to reduce pressure (especially if it is your first time). After my session I come home and fall asleep like a baby. I would not recommend scheduling outings or intense activities right after. Rest and relax, drink plenty of water. Works well for my body and soul. read more

Fishion is the best massage place in Manhattan for a $45/hour massage. Their masseuses are highly experienced and intuitive. Their new location's amenities are spacious, nice and clean. My favorite practitioners are Jessica and Jason - they both are great with applying strong pressure with expert awareness and knowledge of the body's tissue and muscles. As someone who frequents many Chinese massage studios, this is by far the best! The quality is always consistent and the best value you can get anywhere. read more

You sit in your cubicle all day, hunched over the keyboard yelping, you're inevitably going to have knots and lots of them. Some you're painfully aware of, some you wont know you had until Fishion's masseuses get ahold of you. Oh they'll find them, and they'll work them out, whether you like it or not. Lets start by saying THIS IS NOT A SPA. It is spartan. But it is also clean and safe. You get what you pay for, a no frills great massage. I got turned on to Fishion when I practiced martial arts and too often had bumps, bruises, sprains and strains. They always fixed me up but just how enjoyable or painful it was completely depends on who you get. I won't tell you my favorites, they're too busy already, but suffice to say none are bad, just some are better than others. I went there a couple days after the NY Marathon and had them work on my legs. I got someone with very bad English who soon had me fighting back the tears and wincing, to which I got "hold still, you've got sickness!" Although I thought it would kill me I felt like a million bucks when he was done. The price cant be beat. They offer gift certificates so you can give your friends a rub. They take credit cards but paying cash will save you a couple bucks. They get pretty busy on weekends but they take reservations. Don't let the entrance put you off. Its tucked away down a narrow alley. A cheap as it is I wish it was more convenient so I could make it a regular stop at the end of the week. read more

Fishion - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

I went to Dr. Pan since my acupuncturist recommended two of her friends to me in NY. The first person that I called lived in Albany and so I ended up going to Dr. Pan since he's in the city. I only went to him once since I wasn't feeling him. I went to see him to balance my chi. Why was he asking me what's wrong? He didn't take my blood pressure and he did not examine me like he supposed to. He was busy asking me about my problems without trying to tell me himself by examining me. When I go and visit my hometown acupuncturist - I am going to tell her he sucks. Not to mention when he was cupping me - I felt like I was hallucinating because I kept on hearing whispers and movements but nobody was in the room. I had a pretty shitty and trippy experience! read more

This place isn't clean. I broke-out immediately after my massage. No lotion or oil was used either. The staff wasn't friendly whatsoever. The massage itself wasn't good either, there was no AC so it was uncomfortably hot with a towel on my back. When I went to pay the masseuse followed me & watched me pay which made it uncomfortable to tip her. I gave her a 22% cash tip & she said something to her fellow coworkers & they all looked at me. Overall an unpleasant experience and I won't be back. read more

My guy was fonkey, his feet were so stanky... The place wasn't dirty, it wasn't CLEAN, it was meh.. Go there for half and half, half hour foot/leg and half hour of back and shoulders or go the full hour on your stomach getting the crap kicked out of you... My guys feet were gross smelling, I only smelt them because you're face is down on the floor and sometimes they stand right at your head (feet directly below your head) massage beds with holes in the face pillow... read more

Coco is great. The massages here are worth every penny. The facility is incredibly clean and organized (for a Chinatown massage place). $45 for 1 hour (if you pay by cash, otherwise $46 for card) before tip. No frills, so don't expect candles, aromatherapy, or yoga music. They can do an oil massage if you request. Otherwise they will massage through the sheet. They do deep tissue massages, so it was pretty painful during the massage but I felt great afterward. You're separated into stalls so there's more privacy (somewhat) than some chinatown places where you're herded into a big shared room separated by curtains. The downside to this is that it can be very noisy. Got stuck with an obnoxious customer next door who would not. stop. talking. about her work as a social worker, her week's schedule, and commenting on every little problem going on in her life and why she needed a massage. When she did manage to finally shut up, she kept lightly moaning. Good god, please shut your mouth. The massage was great, minus the obnoxious other customer. read more

Surprisingly clean and comfortable! The massage itself was a little uncomfortable but for the most part it was relatively soothing enough (for me at least) to just fall asleep. They massage your neck, head, even the scalp, legs, and the back! They didn't massage the feet though, which I wish they did. And they also didn't get all my neck cramps out. For the most part, it was an enjoyable experience. I would definitely come again. The bathrooms were tiny, but clean. But the sinks were outside... Overall, well worth the money. Come prepared with cash tip and an appointment! They get packed! And you don't have to take off any of your clothes. They DO ask you if the pressure is good or too rough and they do rub some kind of oil on you when you flip onto your back and they massage your arms. read more

I've had several of the masseuses here work on me and I'm always happy with every one. They really know what they are doing and I've always felt they are responding to my body's needs, not just doing a cookie-cutter massage. Booking is super easy. The space is very clean. read more

Excellent massage, they definitely know what they are doing. Great value. Very friendly staff.

Okay- So this place isn't a pretty spa with aromatherapy, and spa music, and infused water, and candles. But what it lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for in the skill and professionalism of the massage therapists. They are truly therapeutic. Make no mistake- this isn't necessarily the most "relaxing" massage. At many points in time, the massage was quite uncomfortable as Anna (highly recommend) worked out every last knot and kink in my neck and shoulders. She checked in to make sure I wasn't in too much pain, but it was worth it. If you have aches, pains, soreness- don't waste your time at a fancy spa that charges 3x the price for mediocre technique but fancy amenities. This is the place to go. By the way- it's ridiculously cheap ($45 for an hour of body work) read more

I have been going to Fishion since they were on Hester St. Stumbled across this fantastic place after spending a day in court. John Lin was my first masseur and he was great but is now retired. Now I have gone to Tony, and he is fantastic. Just had a 2 hour foot massage and feel like I am floating on air. Having had massages throughout the Far East and on the West Coast, this place beats them all. Try it, your feet and body will thank you. read more

My fellow running buddy recommended this place and I've been hooked since the first visit. I come here once a month for 1-hour full body massage. The massage can get pretty painful at times, but I feel much better every time. It's become a ritual that I look forward to every month. read more

I'm totally going back here if I'm in Chinatown again.. and need herbs.. I loved the seedy feeling, taking a left turn under the lit up sign (it was nighttime, making it feel more seedy..) and walking down a dark passageway to the actually Fishion Herb Center. I had, written down in Chinese by my acupuncturist, the herbs to pick up. Fishion had them and they were really inexpensive ($5 a bottle). A must for Chinese medicine needs. read more

Have been here once a week for two years now, time for a review. My husband spent $$$ on a luxury spa&massage place somewhere in midtown as a gift for my birthday, the voucher still hasn't been redeemed after sitting on the shelf for 8 months. I told him for my next bday, Please buy me Fishion gift card(which they do have!) For massage, I like the Chinese way, cut the candle scent and oil crap... As a graphic designer I easily spend 14 hours a day sitting down in front of the computer. Of course it comes with hardcore back and neck pains, so happy to find this place and always looking forward to the weekend to get massaged. For this place you kinda have to try everyone and find out who's the right one for you, I wasted some money on bad massages along the way but ended up finding the right people, still worth it. My top 2 recommendations would be Katie and John A. Personally, I go for Katie more often than John. Katie would be a perfect choice if you are looking for a head-toe full body session(about 45 mins-1 hour), her hands are so strong, she is very good, so friendly, quiet, barely speaks english which doesn't matter. Just finger point out to her where is the pain and she will do the work. Always feel so refreshed after. Sometimes the place gets busy on the weekend so the front girl constantly checks on them to see how much time left so they can take the next guest, Katie always takes her time without any rush. I often tip her more than 25% which I think she really deserves it. Wish I could take her home! She barely has walk-in availability on the weekend, make sure to call to book her. John A is considered as the "master" here, he trained Coco and Sophia(who are the "celebrity" massage girls here) . He's always booked up during the weekend from early morning. During the session he likes to concentrate on one problem, instead of a full massage. He has a pair of strong hand, if a certain part bothers you just go for John. The special thing I like about him is that he understands body internal construction, he always looks for the source of the pain instead of rubbing wherever it hurts you. FYI, you can ask John for his # and text him to book instead of calling the front desk. He speaks fluent English, seems to be a talker, if you don't want to talk, don't start the conversation. read more
