I've been coming to this place for years, because it's one of the places that know how to do serious cupping (BTW it does sting and a bit uncomfortable) but the reward is so worth it. Massage, Cupping and massage again will leave you body starving for water and a good broth, however, very worth it. Half of my spine is fused and this is the only therapy to help release my muscle spasms. read more

Great no frills establishment. They always accommodate when I call 15 minutes ahead. We do the couples massage for 1 hour which is half the price of most places, and the quality is better too. Would recommend if you are looking for a thorough massage with no fancy facilities. Professional staff that ensures each visit is better from the last. Recommend for consistent visits. read more

Angel Hands Wellness - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

The host at this establishment is super nice and kind. He's very accommodative and helps people feel welcomed and helped best to his ability. The masseuse I got actually didn't ask me any of my preferences, which I thought was a little bit odd. Nor did they ask me anything about the pressure or anything like that, which I thought would've been captured and you know a small conversation before the massage that didn't happen. Nor did the host asked me any of my massage preferences as well. There's definitely a language barrier here, as I was trying to communicate, stronger pressure and for certain areas to be worked on, but it didn't seem like my masseuse, necessarily understood what I was trying to convey because she wasn't making the requested changes. The price here is honestly pretty unbeatable, and the fact that their hours are very extensive is amazing, due to the fact that I generally feel more sore towards the end of the day rather than the mornings, so I prefer to be worked on later in the evening. They do free hot stones during the massage towards the end, and they also have a check deal on yelp or you can get an extra 10 minutes or something if you do an hour. I'll definitely be back here, it's quiet there's quite a bit of availability, and the prices are great. The masseuse generally seem to know what they're doing, and for the value, it's rather unbeatable. they do say that they take walk-ins, I would generally recommend calling ahead and making an appointment just in case all six rooms are booked when you're trying to get seen. They also have a larger room for couples massages if that's something that you're interested in. read more

Great service and courtesy as soon as you step in the door. They even provide a stamp card to reward you for multiple visits! One important detail: Though the hot stones make direct skin contact, your masseur/masseuse won't work directly on your skin but with a towel layer, except for the face massage. read more

I loved the short hour I spent there. I treated myself to a half hour foot massage and a half hour back massage. My guy gave an excellent back massage. He worked out the kinks in my back. It was sweet relief. Not a warm and fuzzy massage but real body work. My new favorite place for a foot massage. I'm going to forget about my old go to. This is my new place in the city. read more

Angel Hands Wellness - Such a nice treatment. The hot stones are a nice extra. - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

Such a great bargain! The therapist was very thorough and applied medium-firm pressure as requested. Service was very accommodating, even helping with my luggage! Please note that you have to be able to walk up stairs. read more

My first massage ever and it was an excellent experience! My masseuse was very talented and I'll definitely be going back.

Amazing service, vibes were immaculate. Workers are very nice as soon as you walk in. These angels got HANDS!

Very affordable... I got a 90 minute massage for only $76. Anna is excellent for deep tissue massage... She is way better than most of the therapists I've had who charge more than double. Will be going regularly! read more

I'm writing a review so I can remember that I really like this place. I've been 2x and both times were excellent. Yelp check in gets you an additional 10 minutes on full body. It's up the stairs and it's a very narrow hallway. The masseuse was very strong and asked perfect questions about strength and problem areas. She made me very comfortable and overall I would go again! I haven't been to many NY massage spots, but I came 2x because I felt it was great! read more

That's a amazing. Good hands very good massage, I will come back again. Thank you so much

Had several sessions pre-Covid. They're excellent w/technique & welcome special requests 2 work on body areas. Massagers don't speak too much English. So u have 2 deal w/that. Place quiet & serene. Hot rocks on spine @end of massage is wonderful! It comes w/massage. Tip generously $10 per massage. They deserve it. Clean place. Respectful. Solicitous. I'm Gramercy Park female resident. . read more

Highly recommend 60 min body massage + 30 min foot massage. I literally fell asleep at one point from how amazing the massage felt. Time passed so quickly I wish it hadn't ended lol I can't wait to go back. Thank you!!! read more

Great price and a solid massage. Definitely would recommend! Was able to book same day.

Yan gave a great massage. I made an appointment and was taken right away. Felt good afterwards. It's now my go to place for a swedish massage. It appears that appointments are not necessary but preferred. The place is small but clean and comfortable. read more

Angel Hands Wellness - Price list as of August 25, 2021 - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

Exceptional staff, feels so much more welcoming than another spa I used to go to, which really makes a difference for me :D Prices are insanely affordable so please tip whoever works on you well! They do such a great job! I have terrible back pain and am very very tense, but they worked through it so well last time that I cried mid-massage lol read more

Arguably massage of my life- I came in with less pain than I left. Asking for "strong" doesn't mean leaning with your elbows on bones for two minutes at a time. When someone does that, they know to lightly pat the area to alleviate the pain they just made. Whoever worked on me doesn't understand reflexology. My neck wasn't touched once, nor were my shoulders even squeezed. The woman never even asked "is this pressure ok" or how do you feel- I feel literally injured and irritated that I wasted my money here. I would recommend four seasons place next to angel- they have many locations and do a really nice job and use the first portion to work out knots on your body, and the second to use oil and allow your body to relax after working out the kinks. Really disappointed by my experience here. read more

Terrible service. Wouldn't even let me make a reservation. Would abruptly hang up without allowing me to ask any questions

i would like to give 5 stars for their service. The man at the counter was very very polite and kind. The lady who gave me foot massage was gentle and nice as well. This place is very tiny and small but their price is good compared to other places. I would come back here again read more

This place is a hidden gem when it comes to pricing; 60 minutes is always $39. I don't know anywhere that can beat that. They are clean and hospitable people. They also have a water dispenser and atm. They take credit card, but that comes with tax, so cash is slightly better. One negative though is that it's a small space; you will hear other conversations. I didn't get to connect much with May because I have very limited Chinese vocabulary and she has very limited English vocabulary. HOWEVER, May will give you the massage you've been craving - nice hard even pressure. I will probably be back. read more

Because of the pandemic I lost my prior go to massage place. I took a chance on this one based up on the reviews. It is a very clean and a well run establishment. I also felt very comfortable with their Covid protocols. The foot massage was lovely and I will definitely go back. It was also nice in that they did it in one the rooms rather than the chairs. Really changes the experience! There is nice new age sort of music playing and the lights are kept low to add to the experience. I found my new massage parlor, and will be filling up my frequent massage card! read more

Good massage. Just what I needed. Glad I tried out this spa. Great prices. Will come back.

Was so happy to discover this place. Got a 60 minute massage, and then, two days later, got a 90. Both were excellent. My second, with Linda, was superb. Great pressure and she seemed to be really sensitive to my responses. It was such a treat to be able to walk in as my time allowed. The guys who answered the phone (different both times) were each very genial and accommodating. The name is a tad off-putting, so I'm glad I forged on through. Will definitely come back. read more

Massage is very good and extremely reasonable cost, esp for NYC. Also you can get a coupon card. 10 massages = 1 free

My go to! Love this place. Love the hot stones. Decent price and I like getting extra 10 mins for checking in on Yelp.

Wow very good and comfortable! The lady is very diligent and makes me feel very relaxed after the massage. Recommended read more

Great if you're primarily going to relieve muscle tension. The place is very small and rooms are separated by curtains. Barely enough space to change; however, for the price the massage is great. If you're someone who values a more spa-like experience with tranquil vibes, essential oils and an escape from the NYC madness than this isn't for you. Not knocking the place, I just think you should be aware of what you're signing up for. Considering the price, I would visit again. read more

Love this place! I called and made an appointment 30 minutes in advance but they take walk-ins as well. They offered me water when I arrived and I was put into one of the massage rooms right away. They were pretty busy but it was still quiet and relaxing. The $42 "body work" massage was great! They use hot stones and warm massage oil. They really massage and stretch your whole body. Highly recommend this place! read more

I've been going here for 3 years now and have been happy with every masseuse. The place is no frills, clean and professional. I refer my friends here when they need a good deep tissue massage read more

My first massage here since pandemic started. Yan did an amazing job off full hour ($42) and place is very clean. They took my temperature on arrival. Recommend. read more

Edit to say I DO NOT recommend buying their Groupon. It's $40 (walk in is $42) and they charge you $5 tax on top of that so it's actually MORE EXPENSIVE. Pretty disappointed by that. Poor business model. read more

Had the most fantastic massage today. I still can't believe how spot on the massage therapist's technique was despite the fact that we didn't exchange a single word other than hello and thank you. Very firm and detailed process, mostly pure relief but with some pleasure-pain intense parts, which I welcomed. Afterward I was so disoriented I barely knew where I was. Will definitely be back. read more

I was to have a massage today. When I called to verify if all the employees are vaccinated, the woman who answered the phone wouldn't answer the question. I asked her 4 times and she would say something back unrelated. She told me she doesn't know the word "vaccinated". I get that there was a language barrier, but by not answering the question, it tells me it's a no. read more

Inconsistent with the massages. I use to come and generally always get a reasonably well trained masseuse who worked out the knots and some discomfort i have. Last handful of times, despite me asking for someone experienced and good, i leave dissapointed and in the same amount of discomfort i came in. I feel like they dont work hard to really work out the knots and when they do press hard, its not therapeutic and they dont know what they are doing. Again, i am not new to massages and i understand for the price you aren't going to get stellar massages, but I'm sitting here after a 1 hour massage with the same amount of tension and pain i came in. She didnt remove any of my knots. Moreso, i state work mostly on my back and neck but they still spend a good amount of time on the rest of my body. read more

Simple- to the point great walk in massage spot. No frills about it, you are greeted and welcomed by the staff who walk you down the hall which has multiple massage books which are divided by curtains. It's clean, the staff are friendly, courteous and professional and you cannot beat the price. For those of you looking for a 5 star Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton experience, I suggest you look elsewhere. For those who want a great authentic massage and a real New York local experience, look no further. read more

Yan was my masseuse. She was awesome!!! The shop is small and cramped. If you want it quiet with soft music in the background, you will have that with some interruptions of people talking in both the beginning and end of their transactions. Honestly, for the quality of the massage and the price, I could care less. They also reward customers after multiple services. I would definitely return to this place. read more

Angel Hands Wellness - The sign outside the doorway. I would have missed it otherwise. - Massage Near Me - New York, New York

This is definitely my go to spot nearby- you can't beat the price and quality! It's super convenient and they take walk-ins. The only downside is that the walls/curtains are thin so you can hear people talking while they come in and leave, I personally don't mind since I usually go when it's quiet. read more

Love this place so much! I am a physician and am constantly on my feet and running around the hospital ... this place has been helping my body heal. Very clean and professional.
