The host at this establishment is super nice and kind. He's very accommodative and helps people feel welcomed and helped best to his ability. The masseuse I got actually didn't ask me any of my preferences, which I thought was a little bit odd. Nor did they ask me anything about the pressure or anything like that, which I thought would've been captured and you know a small conversation before the massage that didn't happen. Nor did the host asked me any of my massage preferences as well. There's definitely a language barrier here, as I was trying to communicate, stronger pressure and for certain areas to be worked on, but it didn't seem like my masseuse, necessarily understood what I was trying to convey because she wasn't making the requested changes. The price here is honestly pretty unbeatable, and the fact that their hours are very extensive is amazing, due to the fact that I generally feel more sore towards the end of the day rather than the mornings, so I prefer to be worked on later in the evening. They do free hot stones during the massage towards the end, and they also have a check deal on yelp or you can get an extra 10 minutes or something if you do an hour. I'll definitely be back here, it's quiet there's quite a bit of availability, and the prices are great. The masseuse generally seem to know what they're doing, and for the value, it's rather unbeatable. they do say that they take walk-ins, I would generally recommend calling ahead and making an appointment just in case all six rooms are booked when you're trying to get seen. I'm writing a review so I can remember that I really like this place. I've been 2x and both times were excellent. Yelp check in gets you an additional 10 minutes on full body. It's up the stairs and it's a very narrow hallway. The masseuse was very strong and asked perfect questions about strength and problem areas. Arguably massage of my life- I came in with less pain than I left. Asking for "strong" doesn't mean leaning with your elbows on bones for two minutes at a time. When someone does that, they know to lightly pat the area to alleviate the pain they just made. Whoever worked on me doesn't understand reflexology. My neck wasn't touched once, nor were my shoulders even squeezed. The woman never even asked "is this pressure ok" or how do you feel- I feel literally injured and irritated that I wasted my money here. I would recommend four seasons place next to angel- they have many locations and do a really nice job and use the first portion to work out knots on your body, and the second to use oil and allow your body to relax after working out the kinks. Was so happy to discover this place. Got a 60 minute massage, and then, two days later, got a 90. Both were excellent. My second, with Linda, was superb. Great pressure and she seemed to be really sensitive to my responses. It was such a treat to be able to walk in as my time allowed. This place is a hidden gem when it comes to pricing; 60 minutes is always $39. I don't know anywhere that can beat that. They are clean and hospitable people. They also have a water dispenser and atm. They take credit card, but that comes with tax, so cash is slightly better. One negative though is that it's a small space; you will hear other conversations. I didn't get to connect much with May because I have very limited Chinese vocabulary and she has very limited English vocabulary. Because of the pandemic I lost my prior go to massage place. I took a chance on this one based up on the reviews. It is a very clean and a well run establishment. I also felt very comfortable with their Covid protocols. The foot massage was lovely and I will definitely go back. It was also nice in that they did it in one the rooms rather than the chairs. Really changes the experience! There is nice new age sort of music playing and the lights are kept low to add to the experience. Great if you're primarily going to relieve muscle tension. The place is very small and rooms are separated by curtains. Barely enough space to change; however, for the price the massage is great. Love this place! I called and made an appointment 30 minutes in advance but they take walk-ins as well. They offered me water when I arrived and I was put into one of the massage rooms right away. Inconsistent with the massages. I use to come and generally always get a reasonably well trained masseuse who worked out the knots and some discomfort i have. Last handful of times, despite me asking for someone experienced and good, i leave dissapointed and in the same amount of discomfort i came in. I feel like they dont work hard to really work out the knots and when they do press hard, its not therapeutic and they dont know what they are doing. Again, i am not new to massages and i understand for the price you aren't going to get stellar massages,but I'm sitting here after a 1 hour massage with the same amount of tension and pain i came in. She didnt remove any of my knots. Moreso, i state work mostly on my back and neck but they still spend a good amount of time on the rest of my body. read more
