Got an hour long foot massage -- you can't beat the 45 dollar price. They do take card, but there's an understandable surcharge. They put a timer on so you get the full time. Foot massage hurts but in the good way. I'll definitely return read more

It was a nice place to walk in to after a long week In New York. The foot massage was great, everything my muscles needed. I would come again on my next trip to New York. read more

Really great, no-frills massage-- great value for your money and the spa is clean and professional. Sky did an excellent job on my foot massage and really got into some sore spots on my back/shoulders. If you're a stickler for a traditional massage experience then stick to the foot massage only, but if you are looking for great body work do the 75 min option with both! read more

The ambience was perfect service top tier! I took a card, I will definitely be going back.

There is a call box at the address to press so they let you in but when I arrived, a man came down without me buzzing and let me inside. 60 minute back rub = $55, 15 min foot rub $15 which I think is a great deal. Definitely a popular place. Looked clean and didn't feel sketchy at all. Rooms are separated by curtains and then they have a separate area for reflexology. I only had to wait 2-3 minutes to be seen as a walk in on a Saturday afternoon. My massage therapist was nice and very strong but this didn't feel like an intuitive massage where they're really in tune with what your body needs. It wasn't very relaxing, which was disappointing.. A lot of quick, frenetic movements. Barely any attention to neck or back of legs. The whole time, I was on my stomach, never turned over to do the front of the body. He checked in about the pressure a couple times as I had to ask him to lighten up once or twice. It was just a bit all over the place. There were some areas he said were super tight but then not much attention was paid to them. I'd probably come here again but to a different person. Didn't get his name though but he was a tall guy with a shaved head. The reflexology felt more thorough and relaxing than the back massage did, but not by much. The time flew by. The chairs are comfy and allow you to lay back. You're partially covered with a towel. They give you sandals to wear when going between the back massage and reflexology area which is nice. read more

I used to go to the other locations on 48 Mott Street. That one has been closed due to the pandemic. I'm very excited to find out they have another location on canal street. I got a one-hour foot massage with Anna. She was amazing. My foot felt like never been on a Ground. Can't wait to go back. Do book an appointment ahead, read more

This place is super clean and organized. Great quality foot massage at a great price. Highly recommend!

It used to be better. Feels like a factory - they dont go as intentionally deep into the muscles in an attentive way, more like they are just going thru the motions to go home, and they are talking to each other the whole time - like 7 to 8 times my masseur was chatting. They also didnt complete the entire sides. I used to recommend this place to everyone but its gone downhill. read more

This was a good experience for a good price. I would definitely go back. The staff is very nice and everything is clean

My go to place for massage. It's not a very fancy place but it's clean and efficient, and all the masseuses I've had are all very good. The price is also a very good deal! Make sure to bring cash for tip! read more

We were visiting my sister, who is a licensed massage therapist, and she told us that this is the place she loves to go. I figure that going to the place where the massage therapists go is usually a sure bet. We had a great experience start to finish. Everything was clean, on time, and comfortable. It was a professional environment and we would definitely take my sister up on an offer to go back next time we visit! read more

Overall: EXCELLENT in the past 2+ years I've been coming here. Clean, quality, reasonably priced, and professional. I've reached the height of my bougie-ness and have a favorite masseuse here. Appointment needed for a guaranteed time. Ambiance: Soothing spa music that helps cover the NY honking and sirens outside. The massage tables for body massages are separated from other tables with curtains, but people have been pretty respectful. The massage chairs for the foot massages are comfortable and are out in the front door that doubles as the waiting area. Massage: Varied, depending on the masseuse. I tried different masseuses before I learned which person I preferred. They check in on how you're feeling and what you'd like them to focus on. Make sure you speak up if you need more or less pressure. More consistent here in terms of quality than the 5-6 other massage places I've tried around Chinatown over the past few years. Cost: $40 1hr full body, not including tip. Prefers cash, but they do take card. Service: Nice owners at the front desk who loves conversation if you're open to it. Quick and polite. They always offer water after the massage. read more

You have to go up these stairs to get inside since it's on the second floor. It's a little confusing, but they'll come down to get you. The inside was super quiet and had a nice ambiance. Dark and had soft instrumental music playing. The foot massage area is separate from the back massage. For the back massage, you get your own little area that's closed off by curtains, which is nice. It was 25$ for 30 minutes of back massage. And when I say back massage it's like the ENTIRE back side of your body. They'll massage your back, your legs, arms, hands, and head. They go pretty hard so make sure to let them know your preferences. Everyone was also super friendly and nice! Note that you can tip via credit card as well. Paying with card incurs some additional charges as well though, so bring some cash. read more

Zu Yi for the win again! I always end up stopping by here when I'm in NY and my feet are dying from all the walking. They got me in right away on a walk in on a very hot Saturday afternoon and the massage was glorious. Perfect deep pressure, she didn't go over the same spots for ever but got knots worked out. Did 45 min laying down and 30m foot massage for $75. Different guy came and did my foot massage. Which is actually a full 30m on your feet and calves (not 15 on feet and 15 on neck shoulders arms like some other places). Also great deep pressure, which doesn't always happen on feet. I like that you can mix and match the exact amount of time you need on both. Super friendly, didn't press on leaving a big tip, so I went ahead and did :) Will definitely be back! read more

Friendly staff, calm place, no frills, and good massages. Communication is super important here. I went with a different friends multiple times and I don't think they enjoyed it. Mainly because the massage was too hard for them, but that's why you need to communicate! I tend to get females to do the massage for me because men go way too hard. And if the female masseuse goes way too hard, I communicate. Massages don't need to be painful for them to be effective so don't think all massages should be painful. A massage here is now $45 for 60 minutes. read more

Place was clean super nice staff. No pushing for tips, great service. Also quite cheap, it's 55 for both feet and back massage. 20 min feet and 40 min back. Definitely coming back next week when I got the time. read more

Was able to call the spa and have a reservation in 10 minutes. Inside they have a lot of chairs and staff so it seems you can get a reservation easily. It is not a private experience at all- for foot massage chairs you are sitting right next to the person next to you, for back massage you have a table and it is covered with a sheet around you. If other customers are talking the room becomes loud so I'd recommend bringing headphones. Massage was excellent!!! Did back and feet, 30 min each- massage was powerful! Will come back again read more

Zuyi on Canal is a sister spa to Zuyuan on Mott. We accidentally went to Zuyuan when we had made an appointment at Zuyi. A staff member was kind enough to walk us over to Zuyi. The massages at Zuyi were just as fantastic, if not better than at Zuyuan! We went for a family foot massage and all four of us were happy (which is very unusual!) Usually, my issue with foot massages is that they are way too soft. My massage was so strong, it was almost too strong! I'm not complaining though. The massage still felt really good. Zuyi can get a little noisy, but I think that is the case with every foot massage place in Chinatown. Everyone there was very friendly and the price is right. I definitely recommend reservations at Zuyi or Zuyuan as both can get very busy. Both will certainly remain our go to foot massage places on future visits! read more

Best full body massage in the city. Friendly owner and front desk staff. The masseurs are great in that they are very firm, understand where you have knots, and customize the massage based on your request. i.e. I always ask them to spend more time on my legs over the shoulders and back. read more

Family of 5 came here after beating up our feet around NYC. Very clean and super nice staff. Very strong foot massage and felt like a new person afterward! My husband and my brother looked relax but they told me they were struggling with the digging pain during the process hahaha. This place has the tiniest sign to spot on Canal St. but apparently, you don't need a big sign when the service is so good! read more

I feel like a whole new person!! This was a much much needed self-care activity. I am so grateful and appreciative of how accommodating the staff and receptionist were. We made an appointment for a party of 3 and then we were running late but they managed to still fit us for the 1 hour massage. We also got lost because there isn't a proper sign but they came out to greet us at the entrance. The massage was great....I wanted to continue more minutes but because it's the weekend so they were already fully booked. It was very clean inside too :). I do recommend calling to schedule first!! read more

I thought all massage spa would be shady but my friend recommend me to this place. After looking at the yelp review this place was surprising good and not shady at all. I came here for 60min foot massage for $35 and Omgie the male masseurs were amazing! He had so much strength that after the massage my feet kinda hurt. He put on a lot of lotion on my feet so the massage felt amazing. I would come back for a body massage. read more

Great service, clean and friendly. Good price. Highly recommended! Easy to get appointments.

My friends and I came here to get our first massages ever on a weekday. Finding this place was a bit hard because you had to find a little door near where google/apple maps tells you there store is and it's up the stairs. However, they have a security camera that they use and will get you if you can't find it. We got back massages for 30 minutes, and for $25 per person it's such a good deal. The word "back" is really misleading, because when they mean "back", they mean your ENTIRE backside of your body. This includes the back of your neck, your butt, and your legs. They also include your arms and hands. The masseuses have strong hands, so you should be communicative if it ever hurts you. They're super thorough with their massages. Overall, this was a great experience for my first time getting a massage at a great price! read more

Amazing foot massage and excellent value! Relaxing atmosphere and clean -- great after spending a day walking around the city.

This place is packed I had a 90 minute massage for $70. I definitely know what they're doing air-conditioning music tables are comfortable it's on the second floor walk up you have to get buzzed in. I have a place on 17th St. that I like which is a little cheaper but both are excellent. read more

This is the first time I ever sought out a massage for myself. After a really stressful move to my new apartment, I treated my partner and I to a celebration massage. And wow. The staff was so sweet and lovely, and my massage made me feel like a brand new person. I saw someone else's review where she said she felt brand new afterwards, and that's an accurate description. I got the massage a handful of days ago and everyday I wake up to NO BODY ACHES! What!! I don't know when the last time my body felt so... not-tense. My partner and I both felt so great afterwards, and the massage was affordable too! Best I've ever gotten. GO HERE!!! read more

This is my go to spot in Chinatown for a legit massage. The masseuses here are able to provide strong pressure to help relieve any sore muscle pain. You can choose from reflexology, full body or a half and half massage. The prices here are very fair for a massage but don't expect a fancy spa experience, you pay for what you get! read more

So I'm always a little sketched out by the idea of Chinatown massage parlors, but I'm glad I found this place. The interior is very clean - to the point of nearly spotless. The bathroom was also spotless which is a word I do not use lightly. Always a good sign of cleanliness. I walked in with no appointment and asked for a 60 minute body massage. Joe was my masseuse and he was extremely firm and strong, exactly the way I like my massages. The other thing I should mention is that he was 100% professional. This was my first time being massaged by a male and Joe was excellent. No funny business, which I think every female is always secretly afraid of. The massage cream they use here is really rich and luxurious. I also enjoyed the hot stone portion of the massage. Joe was so good that I wanted to extend my massage by another 30 minutes when the 60 minutes were over. Turns out he was busy with another appointment. Next time, I will definitely call in advance to schedule and will opt for 90 minutes. Thanks again for a great massage. read more

My review is very overdue but this The reason I love Chinatown is because of this place!!! I usually come once a month or twice. The massage you get is no fuss just real good quality massage. If you're looking to pay a premium and get an ambiance this is not the place for you. However, if you want an extremely affordable massage that's top notch come here. The staff is extremely professional, the place is clean, and they all rock!! I usually come and get a 60 min massage. You can ask them to apply whatever type of pressure, but I prefer harder than softer for massages. They take care of every inch of your body from scalp to your feet. No corner left. It's especially good if you work out often and are sore. This place will fix you right up !! They don't use oil but a cream which is nice so you don't leave all oily. They also have some crazy techniques when massaging that I didn't even know were possible but hey do you your thing!!! One thing to note is most of the masseuse are male, but they have women as well. Also, if the 60 min isn't your cup of tea they have a ton of ton other options. From foot to 30 min to hot stone. Everything! Just go and thank me! read more

Affordable, clean, friendly, and relaxing space. Highly recommend. They have a preference for cash vs. credit card but take both. (there is a minimal fee for credit.) don't forget to tip cash too if ya can. :) read more

Zu Yi is an expansion of Zuyan. They offer the same great foot massage and back reflexology as the sister location up the street. You'll find Joe and many of your favorites are rotating between Zuyan and here. Very clean, quiet, great music and a firm but relaxing massage that got into all of the tight spots. Back massage includes bodywork on the arms and legs, a full body stretch and a full hot stone rubdown at the end. Highly recommended. read more

So glad I found out about this place through a friend's recommendation. Don't get deterred by the outside appearance. This is no shady massage parlor. The staff are experienced masseuses who know what they are doing. During the sessions, the masseuses will check in periodically to make sure they are applying the right pressure (not too soft or too hard). They can tell the parts of your body that needs healing and really work on those areas. This place only offer deep tissue massages and really work on your tensions and knots. So, come here if you like pain. Of course, this is no fancy spa so don't expect a spa-like atmosphere. Rooms are divided by curtains and you store your belongings in a bin underneath the bed. However, inside is very clean, the space is comfortable, calming, and quiet with soft music playing in the background. Once you walk in, you no longer feel like you are in the middle of the bustling Chinatown. For the price you are paying, this is an amazing value and you walk away feeling loosen and de-stressed! I see a lot of tourists and locals coming here, so that speaks for its reputation. P.S. They offer stamp cards (ten visits and get one free) so be sure to get credit for your visits! read more

A friend and I walked in late afternoon on a Sunday and asked what they had available. The receptionist told us two 30 min leg/ foot massage was available. We were hoping for an hour table massage but will be sure to schedule an appointment for next time. Would recommend reservation just in case. She showed us to our chairs which are very comfortable, and we were seen right away. I have never had a foot massage this good and I can't wait to return. My feet feel brand new. Major focus on the arch of the foot and great at finding your pressure points. Total was around $25 (including tip) Worrrrrttttttthhhhhhhhhhhhh itttttttttt. read more

Incredible massage. Wong knew exactly what he was doing. My partner and I are males and it's hard to find masseurs strong enough to give a good massage. We have been to many of the less expensive massages places around the NYC mtero area and this place has been the best so far ($65@90mins). They have two locations and both have great reviews. They sent me to this location...the staff was nice and professional. The establishment was very nice and big to accommodate a decent amount of people at once. I highly recommend if you need a good quality to get all the kinks out and rid yourself of some pain! read more

When you come in, keep in mind that they only have male masseuse. But they give amazing massages, and they do go hard so definitely let them know to lessen the pressure if needed. This was perfect for me though, and although I usually prefer female masseuse, the massage was phenomenal enough for me to definitely overlook it. 30 minutes is $25, and an hour is $45-so the price is definitely worth it too. I will also say, don't expect there to be rooms, they have a small curtain set up where the "rooms" are small and separated by cloth in a big area. Would highly recommend for the price and what you're getting! And I can't remember why but I think cash was preferred. read more

Amazing spot for an inexpensive massage. Bring cash so you can save a few bucks. The location is clean but might not be the quietest. Be ready to enjoy a deep tissue massage. I've been coming here for the last 4 years and the experience gets better and better. Staff is super friendly! The facility is clean and they e handled covid precautions with grave. A friend introduced me to Zuyispa and it was my first time getting a massage but I was surprised how relaxing the entire atmosphere of this place. The music is really calming and everyone is quiet. I think it is better to make a reservation rather than to just walk in but we came about an hour before closing on a Saturday and luckily there were enough people for all four people in our group. I've been here twice and both times the masseuses know how to apply just the right amount of pressure to not leave you aching afterwards. The experience: You let the staff know what type of massage and how long you want the massage for. FYI, they may ask you to come back at a later time if you just walk in. They usually let you sit in any open sofa chairs for a bit before your massage. They direct you to one of the small rooms with a curtain for you to remove your clothes into a bin and then you lay flat on the massage table with the towel over your underwear. Keep in mind that it's somewhat of a more open concept--you aren't in private rooms with a door. Finally, don't forget to mention that you want either the hot stones or the essential oils before you start and then enjoy your massage! $40/hour + tip is super reasonable for how much energy goes into the entire massage. Make sure to bring cash. read more
