Ordered brass handles for kitchen cabinets. Looks great and just installed. Helpful staff in describing the various finishes and received delivery (there is a separate shipping charge) as the handles came in multiple dates requiring us to pick up at the store. Still waiting for our light fixture. Light fixture is taking over a month to ship out. read more

I had shopped at Rejuvenation before and went into the Los Angeles store prepared to spend several thousand dollars on lighting, planters and other pieces for a renovation project. There were four customers in the store and roughly four or five employees working. Not one of us was greeted, acknowledged or offered assistance. Several employees were on computers, tablets or phones, and I spent a fair amount of time looking at merchandise within just a few feet of them without anyone engaging me. I eventually asked the other three customers whether anyone was helping them. All three said no. Shortly afterward, all four of us walked out. The store itself also felt poorly maintained and surprisingly thin on inventory, which only added to the impression that the location was not being actively managed. I spent the money elsewhere that day. What made the experience even more disappointing is that I later wrote directly to the president of Rejuvenation and copied the CEO of parent company Williams-Sonoma to explain exactly what happened. I received no acknowledgment from either of them. I wasn't looking for compensation or a discount. I simply thought leadership would want to know that four customers were ignored and all four walked out. Between the store experience and the complete lack of response from leadership, Rejuvenation lost me as a customer. read more

Am I glad I'm not alone in the unbelievably rude treatment from the "employees" in this store! Not one "Hello" or "May I help you" Not even a nod or smile. We need everything for a post-fire rebuild that will add up to a substancial amount. Based on previous posts it isn't just something new and recent, just wish I'd read the reviews before we wasted our time. Obviously it's their standard practice, and L.A. people put up with it. Not us. Never going back or even ordering anything online (not that they'll care) read more

When I was searching the address to drive to Rejuvenation from Pasadena I was shocked to see the yelp rating. I had a great experience with Rejuvenation and this particular location with a remodel 10 years ago. Could it have really changed that much at this store? The answer is absolutely. It almost became comical today how long I was in the store without being acknowledged. The previous reviews were spot on to what I experienced. Building a home in Altadena and needed pendants, sconces and bathroom vanities. I really could have used some help. I spent 25 minutes wandering the store. Four employees were glued to their computers, one made eye contact with me and then went back to their screen and one walked within two feet of me with not so much as a smile. At one point I saw someone ask for help and the employee appeared annoyed to be bothered, said they were busy with someone else and reluctantly found another employee to help. What a shame. They really do have beautiful, quality items and I had a long list of items to be purchased. I currently have two kitchen pendants and all my hardware in my home from Rejuvenation. Unfortunately this put a terrible taste in my mouth today and I would rather work with a company with employees who are helpful and offer at least the bare minimum in customer service. read more

I ordered two bedside task lamps in December which appeared to be perfect on the website and they were on sale. I even ordered the recommended light bulbs to go with them. When they arrived, they were much smaller than expected, and the lightbulbs we got wouldn't even fit inside the dome! Turns out they only take tiny little candelabra bulbs which we certainly can't read by. I thought well we can exchange them for something that will work better but, surprise, they can't be returned or exchanged because they were a final sale. Not that it said that on the website so I had no idea. It just said it was on sale and limited quantities were available. So I will donate the lamps to charity and buy some that will work from a different company. If you're planning to buy something from Rejuvenation, make sure you read all the return restrictions first! read more

my wife and I were ignored the entire 45 minutes we were there, no mater what we were looking at or what section of the store we were in. There was literally one other couple in the store and nobody could even be bothered to greet us or offer to answer any questions. Their loss, I suppose, as we are in the midst of a remodel, but what a waste of our time read more

Rejuvenation sold me made-in-China ball knobs that were supposed to be matte oil rubbed bronze finish. When cabinet guy installed them, about half were defective with a glossy finish. See pic below. I used my leftover to replace about 9 of them. I asked to exchange the defective ones I need and return the defective ones I don't and I was basically told I could not do so because they were outside the original packaging. Ridiculous. What a terrible joke of a "designer" company. They didn't offer any kind of "I'm sorry" for the inconvenience of selling you defective products gift card but just gave me a huge hassle. read more

I contacted Customer Care at Rejuvenation Hardware a month ago seeking a replacement for a minor part (latch) for one of their very expensive door knob sets. For context, the latch which is made of a soft metal, broke into 3 pieces making the door knob inoperable. As if this wasn't bad enough, my youngest daughter was trapped inside her room until I could remove the entire door knob set. For my troubles, I was offered a 10% on my next purchase (as if I would buy anything from them in the future). The sad part is, all I want is a replacement of the door latch. My message to those considering any purchase from Rejuvenation Hardware is to consider a more reputable option. read more

Corrupt: They promise a refund to my credit card: then they unilaterally decide to put a portion on a gift card (which of course they hope I will lose), and refuse to void the gift card and put the balance on my credit card. First of two supervisors blocking the fair outcome. It's insulting, and a huge waste of time. Super disappointing and unfair to the nth degree. Why is the customer service so aggressively awful here? I came in already knowing what I needed to purchase, but unfortunately not a single associate had the time for us. Let me start out by saying I have bought many items from here and I'm happy with their products. The issue with this store is the customer service, you walk in the store and you're not acknowledged. The employees are either looking at their computer screens hoping to not make eye contact with you or talking to each other about video games. The bad customer service is not a one off, this has happened each and every time I've patronized the store. The Rejuvenation experience you knew 10 years ago is long gone. The brand barely functions now. Rather than focus on lighting and do what they do best, they have expanded into ridiculous sectors like plumbing and furnishings and trying to do too many things. How about just focus on lighting as you did in the past so incredibly well? With this diversifying, the entire system has broken down. Warehouse ships incorrect items, their inventory systems are out of wack (systems indicate they have products but when they go in the back, they can't find any). Customer service has sunk to new lows. If there is any unusual issue, good luck finding a quick resolution. And if you need to speak to a manager or trade support to call you back, good luck! (spoiler alert: they never do) Employees are super vocal about how the takeover by Williams Sonoma has changed things for the worse. They complain about their new ordering system messing up people's orders and how corporate no longer gives them the autonomy to resolve things without escalating to trade support and then nothing gets done. I'm now 3 weeks in attempting to resolve an incorrectly shipped shade issue and everyone is clueless. They submit tickets to the warehouse t and then (spoiler alert: you never hear back). And don't get me started on their ridiculous shipping policy. I've never seen any online vendor increase their shipping cost based on the COST of the order rather than the actual weight or actual cost to ship the items. Anything over $300 gets an automatic 10% shipping cost markup. For example, buy a $900 small sconce with a glass shade and you're screwed with exorbitant shipping charges just to ship a tiny box. And, get this, they charge sales tax on that shipping and handling. Is that even legal? When I brought that up to a sales clerk, he said they always have and that's not unusual. Hello?! I couldn't believe my ears. How about just charge your customers the true shipping cost rather than these random mark ups with zero justification. Their entire business model needs to be revamped from the ground up. Employees are miserable with the new ownership and it has definitely eroded the whole experience of shopping here. No one has the authority to resolve anything, especially if it's a trade purchase. You just get the runaround and get passed over to corporate to resolve any issue and then radio silence. Absolutely zero customer service. I've spent over $4K on one project and the whole experience has been a disaster. I'm now extremely hesitant recommending Rejuvenation to any of my clients. read more

Went to Rejuvenation a few weeks ago to get a new lamp to hang over our dining table. Rejuvenation is one of the few mid-end lighting stores...that actually have a physical store and it's really nice to look and see things in real life. Found a lamp that we thought would work well and purchased it. Another plus - not made in China. Was promptly delivered to our house a few days later. Easy to install. Only negative is first the salesperson was not very knowledgeable and sold us the wrong bulbs. She was not very knowledgeable about lighting in retrospect. Too big and cast a very harsh light. Luckily rejuvenation took the bulbs back and changed them out for more appropriate units. read more

You wonder why a place with such great stuff has terrible reviews. The reason is the customer service is so damn shitty. The people aren't rude or obnoxious. They just don't seem to give a hoot. They think they're curing cancer with their light fixtures and so are extremely full of themselves. You wait on hold forever to talk to somebody and when you go into the store you also Wade and wonder what the people are doing because you may be the only one in there. And I don't buy the supply chain bullshit. They are charging an arm and a leg because they can. It is extremely over priced. But, I still shopped there because I absolutely love it. About 25% of the time I have an issue with the product, meaning they didn't include enough screws, or it breaks easily. And returning something is like an act of Congress. read more

I would agree with all the previous reviews about Rejuvenation Hardware in Los Angeles. We have had a recent experience with spending lots of money on a new sofa when we were told it was 'in stock' and ready to ship. We were told the first week of March but when we got the White Gloves delivery schedule it was to be between April 7 and May 7. Multiple calls back and forth and no effort on the sales people to keep in touch with us so still waiting on a delivery date. It is astonishing that a retail merchant with such high end furnishings could maintain an atmosphere of such indifference. So potential customers please be prepared. If your experience is otherwise maybe they have been reading their reviews. Hope so!! read more

Mer is amazing - she is my girl, if you work with her you'll have a great experience. Like most project-based things in life, I find it's really important to find who you click with and stick with them. I booked a "Design Appointment" virtually. I emailed my Designer multiple times inquiring about where to find the Zoom link for the call. They finally called me 15-minutes LATE apologizing for not being organized. Then, they mentioned that I "should have gotten" the Zoom invite. I asked, "What should I be looking for, an SMS?" to which Rebecca responded, "No, you need to have an iPhone and be able to receive an iMessage". So basically, if you have an Android they are unable to send you the Zoom link to do a virtual appointment. I.e. they only know how to do business with iPhone customers. I kid you not, Rebecca said something along the lines of, "Well, since you don't have an iPhone, we can always look at the website together over the phone". I told her that I must have misunderstood the purpose of a Virtual Design Consultation, and that I was expecting to be able to video-chat with her and discuss the room interactively, together, before starting to shop the website. Once it became clear that Rebecca didn't know how to send a Zoom link to an Android phone via ordinary SMS, and since 20 minutes had elapsed since the start of our appointment, I simply told them that I don't have time for this kind of nonsense. Buy anything from Rejuvenation ONLY if you want to wait for months and ultimately get a part of the order (even though you paid for the entire order - IN FULL - months ago). I'm floored by how terrible the quality of their products are. Back in the beginning of 2020 I ordered about $8000 worth of products from them for my bathroom remodel. 2 years later they are all in horrible shape. All of the antique bronze is turning black. The mirror part of the mirror is flaking off. I tried cleaning their products according to their instructions and it didn't help at all. I tried specialty bronze cleaner and it removed the finish. I reached out to customer service and their response was it's out of warranty. Save yourself the trouble and money and buy product elsewhere. These will not hold up. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! The item I bought had a manufacturing defect and attempted to replace it. The process sent me into a labyrinthine of customer service centers between the store, retail customer service and online customer service with all of them pointing at the other department to resolve the issue. Once I thought I had it resolved and an order was placed for the replacement part, they wound up canceling it. When I called back to ask why, they essentially told me to F off because the administrative red tape of their system didn't allow them to complete the order. I haven't written a review in ages but had to based on my recent dealings with this company (owned by Williams Sonoma). I love their design, craftsmanship, and quality of material. BUT, I am never buying anything from this company based on the horrific ordering/returning experiences on which I've wasted many hours. I can't believe a high end company has such inefficient (when I return to the store, it has to be shipped to somewhere else for my return to someday be processed elsewhere?), illegal (I got charged for something I never purchased), and inane (I've called, emailed countless times to no resolution). Not to mention something I ordered never even came, even 6 months after the fact. Bitterly disappointing product quality. We were in love with the Shaw 72" dresser. Bought it. Was aware they must have overall quality issues with products as our salesperson mentioned three times "If anything is wrong, call me and refuse the delivery." Wow. Well, upon delivery in our front yard they de-box and unwrap it and we find 3 of the 6 drawers wobble incredibly side to side. How does something even leave the factory in this way? She says refuse it and they'll send a new one from the east coast in 3-4 weeks. We wait that period of time and here comes the "new" dresser - with 2 of the 3 broken drawers "fixed" - it was the SAME dresser! Visual proof because each is different woodgrain and my husband had taken a photo of it at the first delivery! Such liars and such poor quality. They took it off their website immediately and said it was "discontinued". She issued a full refund right away. But we are saddened and won't purchase anything from Rejuvenation due to all the complaints we read here on Yelp as well as our own experience. read more

Lovely products but they do not care about what they are selling nor the customer. After a few smaller purchases, I decided to buy a lounge chair for a considerable price tag but loved the quality of the piece. I was told I would get the item in up to 12 weeks. Well, it took 4 months to get my chair after unclear communication and mixed signals about the delays. At least it arrived before Christmas, but the order was places in August. Multiple times employees from this store promised they would call me back and give me a status on my late order and then they never reached back out. When I finally received my lounger, the stitching on one side was open near the bottom. I'm trying to get my item repaired because I don't want to wait another 4 months for a replacement and I still haven't received a call from anyone on the repairs team like I was promised. The very worst place to do business. Furniture arrived damaged and the "white glove" delivery men could not fix it. After many calls we finally got it picked up for return. The refund did not include the original delivery charge for the broken furniture (over $100). I was told "we don't refund the delivery charge, even if the merchandise is damaged". In addition, customer service cannot help at all, they just answer the phone, if you have the time to wait for them. The whole experience was dreadful. I placed order for multiple items, almost $2000, in December 2020. One of the orders was for Abigail pendants (2). It has been 5 months and I have not received them yet. I have been talking to at least 4 different people, including Carina, Heather, and Travis, and still no pendant. Just today I recieved the order for a wall sconce that was replacement for an incorrect item that they had sent 4 months ago, and they thought it was the pendants! How disorganized this company can be, and they have been in business since 1977? Not with this type of customer service. I will preface this review by saying I sort of knew what I might be getting myself into buying from this company. Their customer service is legendarily awful. And they have lived up to that reputation. But the heart wants what the heart wants, and after sitting on every sofa in town and half the ones on the internet, I broke down and bought a Hastings leather sofa from them this summer because it was the most comfortable and made from the highest-quality leather. I spent weeks before I pulled the trigger badgering the sales rep for details about the construction (details that should be easily available). Based on what I learned, I expected any problems would be a few years off and due to the fact the sinuous springs in the seat have only one tie-wire, when two is the minimum for quality. The sofa was delivered on Oct. 20, and within two weeks the seam that holds together the two pieces of leather that make up the top of the seat cushion failed. The stitching snapped and is now unraveling. After less than two weeks of light use. I called customer service. The rep was nice and requested photos to help determine the best course of action. I sent them. And then NOTHING. I have emailed every 5-6 days since Nov. 8 and have yet to get a response. I just spent 20 minutes on hold with customer service again, only to be told that all the wrong details had been forwarded to "leadership" and she had called and left a message. Those lies quickly unraveled when I refused to just accept them and let the rep off the phone. No matter how this is eventually resolved--and trust I will see to it that it is--I will never buy another overpriced piece of crap from this retailer again. read more

I purchased all of the kitchen hardware for my carriage house ONLINE from Rejuvenation. The products are beautiful, arrived on time with no damage. My complaint is that I have an unused knob and handle, new in original boxes, left over because of revision to the kitchen plans that eliminated a cabinet. There is no option to return for an online credit. These items could be restocked & resold and yet I'm going to just have to dispose of these. NOT COOL Rejuvenation. Not sure I'd do a large remodel order of anything with you again, given this policy. read more

Their stuff is overpriced, and you are buying blind online because there are no reviews. Not to mention a lot of their stuff is not able to be returned. What gives? But we purchased a walnut sideboard anyway because I loved the way it looked in pictures - the walnut was dark and uniform. Every single picture showed the sideboard this way. When we received the piece, they had constructed it so that a super light blonde piece of wood was used below the drawers in between the cabinets. It looked so odd to have one line of blonde wood, and your eye goes right to it. I understand walnut varies in tones, but it just looks bad like the carpenter ran out of wood and just said oh well. I asked customer service to replace it, and they wouldn't! Stating that I should have known walnut has different tones. What I want is what I saw in the photos, period. Someone else said they are all about profit and that is very much the case here. So many red flags with this place.
