Let me tell you I left that place feeling like a new person. Doing this review months later so cannot remember the name of the staff that did my massage but it sure you will have a positive experience with anyone there. The massage was relaxing yet deep enough to take care of my concerns. Clean and great staff. Cannot say it was cheap but definitely worth what you pay for. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

I am used to enjoying Thai massages--here in the US and in Thailand. When I lived in Los Angeles, I…read morewould typically treat myself to one at least once a month. You can imagine how over the moon I was to find this place in lil' Rhody. Thai massages are dry massages and involve a lot of gentle stretching and some acupressure. I typically leave energized and not sleepy. The massage quality is at par with what one would expect for this modality. I have no complaints here. The only setback is the service rate. This place, perhaps due to lack of competition, is pricey. This has prevented me from coming regularly. That said, if you've never had a Thai massage before and are curious about what makes it different--while not planning to visit Thailand soon, or any other state where there are more spas offering this service--then do visit Thai Tranquility Bodywork. It's worth being familiar with Thai massage, and this place does a good job.

Jane had a conversation with me before my first visit so we both understood what to expect. My requests were a little, shall we say different! Jane was perfect in every way. I highly recommend you check out Jane and her staff for a massage or any of the other programs they offer there. She is one special lady

I was never a "regular" massage-goer until this year, when I was introduced to Frank Bestwick at…read moreHeart in Hand. Now I go as often as I can afford-- it's a regular part of my healthcare! Frank is the epitome of a professional, knowledgeable, and respectful healer. I have chronic neck pain/headaches and numbness/tingling in my hands from hunching over a computer. Frank is very attentive to my reasons for coming in, and will shape the massage around what I want to get out of it (for all of you who like someone who will push hard to get those knots, Frank's your guy! yet will never bring you past your edge). Frank is SO smart about the body. It makes me feel empowered to have a massage therapist who clearly knows neurological and muscular system-- Frank will tell you exactly WHY it is that certain areas of my body hurt, and communicate what he's encountering during the massage. He always sends me with stretches and techniques for alleviating any symptoms, which means my body is happy for much longer than a day or two after the massage. Other perks are that you get to pick the music, and the staff & other therapists are always really lovely. Go here!

Sundance massage and sauna services have moved down the road. Closer to the health food store,…read morewhich works great for me. But the best thing. . . they now have a parking lot! No more driving around looking for on street parking. Yay! They have only been here a few weeks, so decor is still in the works. There look to be two sauna rooms and I think 3 massage rooms (maybe 4?) They share a vestibule with a law office, then have a separate entrance on the right. The outside, and inside entrances are well marked. GPS took me to the wrong location. Wanted me to drive thru a tree line between the neighboring building...just turn off Main St. into the Village on Vine parking lot. They are near the middle of the building. Same great service from their personable team of masseuses.

However, I really enjoy massages where I am left to my own thoughts so I can truly savor the relaxation. I liked the massage enough but I probably would still try others. And no, not because I am one of those serial discounted massage aficionados, but because I enjoy a more serene experience. Further, I doubt that I experienced the 90-minute massage, all told. Sure, I arrived about 5 minutes late (my bad), but on top of filling out a form, I had to sit through what felt like nearly 10 minutes of conversation.
