Angela is an outstanding instructor who consistently goes above and beyond for her students. She walks around the room, provides individual feedback, and makes sure everyone is performing movements safely and correctly. It's clear that she genuinely cares about everyone in the class and wants them to succeed. What sets Angela apart is her energy, attentiveness, and motivation. She is loud and clear when giving instructions, so everyone can easily hear and follow along throughout the workout. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she creates a positive, encouraging environment that makes the class both fun and challenging. I've taken the class with another instructor before, and the difference was noticeable. Angela stays focused on coaching and supporting participants rather than getting her own workout in. She makes everyone feel welcome, supported, and confident, regardless of their fitness level. The bungee fitness classes are an amazing workout, and Raffa is an excellent wellness facility with a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch programs. I highly recommend Angela's classes to anyone looking for a fun, effective, and engaging fitness experience.

Online they had a special for first timers and I opted to do aerial yoga for the 3 class package I bought and boy am I ecstatic that I went! Upon entering the parking area they have affirmations at almost every parking spot, which I enjoy. The outside of the building is so welcoming, they have meditation music playing on your way in and you're warmly greeted. Very easy to find and they have so many things going on here it's amazing. They have all types of yoga classes, a sweat spa, they do facials, massages and so much more! I walked around in awe of all of art and yogi stuff it was beautiful! The bathroom even had affirmations everywhere and was super clean! I mean so clean that I was walking around in my socks and then walking around barefoot which I don't do! I've never done aerial yoga before so I signed up for an intro class with David! He was great! The way he explained everything was very to the point and easy to understand. He so eloquently showed us the moves and then spotted us as we needed. I was terrified at first and then I learned to trust my body and by the time I knew it I was doing things in the air and upside down and I was so proud and felt impressed. I did indeed connect with my body on a level I never knew. I loved it so much I then did the beginner class with Lisa and then the all levels with David again. Lisa was sweet but I like David's teaching style better, but I liked them both, but will stick with David. I am indeed going to buy the 10 class package because I loved it so much and I indeed need aerial yoga in my life more frequently. I love this place I really do and I am so happy I didn't just ignore this place from reading previous reviews. Everyone has their own experiences and mine was pleasant all 3 times! I've already convinced my co-workers and mom to attend an aerial yoga class with me so we're setting that up. It had changed my life, changed my exercising, my being in tune with my body and opening me up to tons of new things I had no clue I could do. You feel very free after this class, and very much like you want to learn more and more moves. I would give this place a go for anyone thinking of trying it!

Her knack for providing carefully crafted instructions to individual students is awe-inspiring. There is no painfully regurgitated "dialogue," and no ridiculous and extreme conditions that cater to the egotist. Don't get me wrong--the room is hot and humid, but you sweat because she makes you work hard, not because you feel faint due to a heat index of 150. Mary Ann knows all the modifications for those who have any ailments, and how to push those who master the basics. You can take a break if you are having an off day without absurd repercussions or belittling. Unfortunately, I can only make it once or twice a week now since I moved away--but the high quality instruction and proper conditions make it worth the trip. Definitely try the place, especially now with the brand new accommodations--always clean and never smelly. Easy parking eliminates yet another headache. Go in prepared to listen and learn, and you will be amazed at how much you didn't know!

Did you ever find a place- any place- that you loved so much, you wanted to tell everyone you knew…read moreabout it, but really wanted to keep it all to yourself, both at once? That's how I feel about What Is Movement. I keep putting off writing this. Because I want to keep it my secret place. But... Really, everyone should check this place out. What Is Movement is a gym/studio owned by Jayme and Jamie, a husband and wife team, who have created this amazing, supportive community. "Boy Jamie" (yes, that's how they refer to each other!) teaches kettle bell, ViPR (google it, seriously, it's so cool), and metabolic resistance training classes, in addition to personal training. "Girl Jayme" teaches yoga, and does private yoga and body work sessions, as well as running a Monday night "stitch and bitch" group. And there are more members of the team: Jessie teaches Forrest yoga on Thursday nights; Gianna teaches yoga three times a week; and they have just added a chiropractor and massage therapist to their growing group of health gurus. I found What Is Movement through Jessie; Jessie is an amazing Forrest yoga teacher. I would drive nearly anywhere for one of her classes. So, I started making my way to Warwick once a week for her class. I found myself enchanted by the atmosphere at What Is Movement, and asked Jessie about the other classes. The ViPR classes especially intrigued me, but I had a pretty significant hand injury, and wasn't sure it would be something I could do. Jessie suggested I talk to Jayme before trying out a class. Jayme knows his... Stuff. Since I first talked to him, I've tried all of his classes, and have been consistently impressed with his ability as an instructor in every modality. He watches each student, remembers injuries and provides modifications, and plans for each person to be successful in every single class. I leave his classes sweaty and sore, but stronger and more confident each time. Jayme's enthusiasm is contagious! And you'll get to know how intense the class will be by what music is blasting when you walk in (Metallica? It's gonna be as upper intense class). Jamie is also a skilled instructor, who uses her knowledge of yoga and anatomy to make each class beneficial for each student. Her bodywork sessions leave you feeling more free, able to breathe deeper. She brings a calm, healing warmth to both her classes and individual sessions. So that's my secret. A wonderful place, supportive community, run by knowledgable and caring people. You really should try it out.
