I was walking home one afternoon from Supreme Court duty at the courthouse and saw a sign for massage. It has been quite a while since I had a massage and decided to give this spot a try. I made an appointment on line which is very convenient. A private parking lot is on the side of the building. My masseuse was not in house when I arrived but I was checked-in immediately and I waited in the office/wait area just inside the door. There are two rooms off the waiting/office area with work-out equipment, plus a locker room and restroom. The entire building looks and smells clean and looks to be in good condition. My masseuse arrived in time for my appointment. We went upstairs to a massage room where we had a brief consult about my expectations for the appointment. They were easy to chat with and shared their impressive credentials. I learned during my appointment that they are uncomfortable with clients who disrobe completely for a session and prefer that all clients retain their bottoms during the massage whether male or female. The techniques used during my treatment are very much in line with other massage treatments I have received. I would have preferred a bit more pressure and did not leave feeling like my knots had been addressed as I had hoped. After the treatment I was asked to purchase a package for multiple sessions, which I deferred. I was really hoping this would be my new 'go to' spot as I miss having a regular masseuse. The massage I received was good, but I don't feel personally it's a good fit for me. However, the staff are exceptionally well trained and know what they are doing. If you are looking to get in shape, lose weight or just need someone to work out your knots, I recommend you try this spot. It may be just what you are looking for.

Wanted me to drive thru a tree line between the neighboring building...just turn off Main St. into the Village on Vine parking lot. They are near the middle of the building. This is about as rude as it gets, especially for a business person.- I still suspect that maybe, when I called her the night before to "warn" her that I was fat, and that's what she'd be dealing with, as the reason she never showed. It all worked out in the end, though. I found a great massage place in East Greenwich, and I was able to go the next day. It was wonderful! I guess some things just end up working out for the best, because I'll continue to go there in the future! :)

I always leave better than when I came in and I go regularly because her treatments and instruction allow me to work through years of mistreatment of my body from the high impact of weights and running. She also helps me to relax from there stresses of the week. Had trouble with many of the CNA's not speaking English very well, but they usually respond to the call light quickly except for two different times when there was a long delay... there was a lady across the hall who was out of it and she would scream all night multiple days per week... they did not seem to have any solution for that. So Sleep was a problem. I guess the physical therapy and occupational therapy I experienced there was somewhere near adequate. Staff is generally very friendly, did not meet anybody i did not want to have caring for me. They accommodated me having some food brought to me from my house or the grocery store and let me store some in their refrigerator .. saw the doctor one time, and the Social worker and case manager didn't seem to have much interest in what I needed. Staff nurses seemed to be overwhelmed by Patient demands most days, often rushing if they appeared at all if I asked to see a nurse... I would say that the vibes were mostly good, but they could use more staff to handle the patient demands. I'd say seven of 10 were competent, and pretty much everybody was friendly. I give them a four star rating because they are much better than some other places I've been but there's obviously room for improvement, what's needed are mostly more staff and better food, and better case management/social worker availability and care.

The 60 minute float was the perfect amount of time for me. I did fall asleep at some point which was nice. I was super sleepy and relaxed for the rest of the day. The float tank also does a great job of relieving minor aches and pains because you can stretch with no weight on your joints. I wish that I had thought to turn the lights off in the room before I started, because there was a little bit of light seeping through the cracks of the float tank. You can have the option to turn the lights and spa music in the tank on or off. My skin was super soft afterwards because of the epsom salt, but you might want to plan to do this on a day when you don't have any plans afterwards, because my hair was kind of funky for a while afterwards. The person at the counter was really friendly and did an excellent job of explaining everything. They provide a towel, q-tips, ear plugs, and anything you might need. The cost was $55 for one hour as a new customer. Definitely hoping to come back here and I've been recommending it to everyone!
