I am extremely disappointed in the professionalism and handling of the store manager at staff at…read morethis store. I went in 2 weeks ago after the bride and myself calling ahead twice to explain that my sister and I were not purchasing a dress through them but needed to get measured for the bridesmaid dresses. Upon arrival we were taken upstairs by an employee who seemed new. She was fine but measured us and wrote it on a yellow post it note and said she would write it on a card for their files in case we had any questions, we could always call back. When we went downstairs to leave we were informed there was a 5 dollar per person charge for getting measured. We were not told prior to this on the 2 previous phone calls or when we checked in for our scheduled appointment. Fast forward 2 weeks when I just called them to confirm my measurements because I misplaced the card they wrote my measurements on. The manager first informed me they wouldn't keep a card on file if we weren't purchasing from them directly. I told her that the girl made a card for us and told us it would be on file...she rudely asked for the "event name" to which i said "the brides name?" she rudely said YES, which I then provided. She did have a card on file...but only the dress style number..not our measurements...WHAT WAS THE POINT in going, paying 5 dollars and getting measured if they are of absolutely NO help...extremely unprofessional. I will not recommend this store to any of my bridal friends.

I don't take my clothes to Heidi and I'm thankful I didn't trust her with my wedding dress after seeing what she did to the flower girl dress. We gave her a silk, J. Crew Collection dress that was too big overall for my niece. Heidi pinned the dress and I told her that we especially wanted the waist nipped in, but still wanted the skirt to be full. She also had to take the bodice in and "lift" the arm holes. The job would cost $50, which seemed a little high for a child's dress, but I realized that a job for a wedding sometimes gets a mark up. The dress we got back looked like almost nothing was done to it. The tulle petticoat, which had been fine, we now uneven and showing below the hem of the dress in certain areas. My little niece looked so sad in the dress. The alterations had taken so long that we didn't have time to order another dress and have it altered again, so we made an emergency dash to a David's Bridal and got her a dress that fit, but was nowhere near as special as the J. Crew Collection dress could have been. I was so disappointed with the work Heidi did. I will never take anything to her shop.

Rather than preserving the detailing of the pants, the natural seams were removed entirely. Though she had pinned the seat to make alterations throughout, the only thing taken in was at the waist so there is bagging fabric around the seat and crotch. They issues no apology and said I can bring them back to "see what they can do" but that they offer no guarantees. Frankly, the majority of the damage is unfixable and I'll likely be donating all items. Nothing more complicated than hemming should be brought here.
