When the work began his crew arrived on time and Leo was there to introduce me to his team. He walked through and confirmed details with the onsite project manager. During the week, the project went really smooth. His project manager would let me know the progress of the project each day. They were open to our questions and adjustments. They also offered their opinions on where we should place or move lights, which paint to use, etc. Not only did Leo and his team finish the job on time, they did an excellent job. Our contractor recommended we go to Floor & Decor in Woodbridge. First thing you notice...it is HUGE! Too many choices, too big a space. Bring a compass and a bottle of water, maybe a walking stick and wear comfortable shoes. If they don't have it, it is possible that no one does. How many shades of "gray" are there? Wasn't a book written on this? (Hint: More than 50). On our first visit, the store's operations manager April saw us lost amongst the laminates and vinyls. She gave us a quick tour, offered some advice, and pulled over "G" (he goes by G) and left us to it. G listened to our desire to replace floors in the basement, main and second floors and all our concerns and likes. He focused in what we thought we wanted, and with his patience we eventually found the flooring we needed. Along with quarter-round, transition pieces, underlayment and etc. Our second visit was for the master and 2nd bathrooms. This time we met with a design specialist, Imee. She looked at our pictures and our measurements and drawings, and then walked us through our color choices. On line we had seen "spa glass blue" and a vanity we liked for the second bath. For the master, my wife said "I like green". From these simple starts we bought tile, flooring, a vanity, edging, grout. Imee brought it all together, working with us to visualize our projects. Such projects are stressful enough. But the people at Floor & Decor were great to work with, so that we were confident in our decisions. If I can, I will add photos at a later date so you can see the results. 5 stars, would definitely recommend and will definitely shop there again.

Even the floor tile we did selected was discontinued, but we were able to secure enough for our project. The vanity we selected and ordered was delayed, so we had to look for another vendor. The new vendor vanity was delivered in less than a week. Eventually the vanity we originally ordered did come in, but not until our bathroom was complete. Lastly, the value was very reasonable, and the only complaint I had was availability of product. Next time we would wait until all my items were on site before beginning the renovation. That said, I would certainly use them again.

First and foremost everyone with Before and After Home Improvement has a work ethic and it's a good one, no shabby shoddy work here. When Rick came to give me an estimate for the project he brought books that had the different colors and grades/levels of composite decking as well as a book with the different railing and baluster choices. Now I did have other estimates set up, however one did not show, and the other company was very nice but they emailed me the quote a few days later and told me they used Trex decking and that was it, no brochures or explaining the different options, nothing, made me wonder if I was supposed to do my own research. Rick explained the high and low end options and the differences in the type of boards Trex carries, which were also pictured in the brochure. If you are within a budget he will let you know what the pricing differences are, your best option, how long the product will last, warranties, ect. He takes the time to talk to you like you're a person and not just a customer in the assembly line. The gentlemen that came to do the work have a work ethic (getting harder to find in people nowadays), they showed up on time, didn't mind me asking questions here and there and wanted the installation to be and look the best. I scheduled their visit for 9am but they jumped over my fences around 8am. They proceeded with the tarp and severely damaged my sidings/window frames and hammered large nails all over my deck which seemed to be an experiment because they weren't sure if those nails would work on vinyl siding. The two man were also coming in and out of my kitchen door (connected to deck) inside the house to see if my windows were covered or not WITHOUT knocking/permission. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Pricing - the owner said it'll be a few hundred when HE STOPPED BY in person after evaluating the house but hit us with a bill that was over a thousand dollars. This quote was for urgent service however, he tried billing us much more. Inconsistency occurred throughout the interaction. PLEASE do yourself a favor and hire someone else. I informed that he'll be paid once insurance pays or he can directly claim with insurance, which he agreed however he is now threatening to put a lien on the house. AVOID Rick and this company at all cost.

We converted two rooms plus a hallway into a master suite as well as split two large upstairs rooms into three. We had structural concerns and lots of logistics to work out and I wouldn't trust anyone other than Mike to draw up the plans to make sure everything is safe and up to code. Al oversaw the projects and was in constant communication with us and regularly was on site to make sure everything was going smoothly. If anything wasn't 100% correct or what we had discussed, he would make sure it was remedied. Big shout out to Franz who even showed up to work the day after his wife had a baby! The M3 team worked late days and on weekends (with our consent) to meet their deadlines, even when the county held them up with permitting issues they still worked hard to finish within our timeframe. We even made major changes to our plans after construction had begun and they were able to pivot and help us get more square footage for the upstairs bedrooms. There were also numerous curveballs that they handled with ease (ya never know what you'll get with an old house). This was our first time doing any sort of large project and the team at M3 gave us plenty of guidance and support to make sure the finished product exceeded our expectations.
